[CE4] Chae v. Araki

The arena is roughly you enter is fairly staple, identical to the arena used in the series during the Chuunin Exams. The stadium is open air with a dirt floor interior, riddled all about with random patches grass. Standard trees, no taller than five meters, sporadically line the walls (which are easily 100 meters tall), though most of this vegetation is shrubs and bushes. From one side of the stadium to the other is 75 meters. Chae posts first.

Handicap: While your goal is to eventually render your enemy incapable of being able to continue with the battle, there is another issue that players must deal with.

Each player has a living statue that will follow no more than one meter behind them at all times. When you jump to another location, so will it; it will essentially mirror your movements (in respect to traveling only). If this statue is destroyed at any time in the battle, you automatically forfeit the match.

Having already been inside of Konohagakure for his surgery he hoped would be successful, and for Anko's company as well, it went without saying that (aside from other leaf shinobi) he was one of the first batch on the scene. Stepping into the arena, Chae looked up to the sideline platforms, hoping to somehow spot Anko, hoping that she'd have come. Nevertheless, dressed with his iconic steel face mask, and standard armour, he stood roughly 15 meters from where his opponent was to allegedly start.

The scene was 'plain' so to speak, nothing more than concrete with patches of grass, trees here and there along with an occasional bush, nothing that would've kept Chae from demolishing his opponent.His living statue trailed behind him by a single meter and remained for the entirety of the fight, protected by Zeus himself. Eager and ready for battle, Chae merely remained to see what kind of opponent he was put against, whoever it'd have been, he had to show them and all spectators the powers of Kirigakure.

It was the time he waited for, after he done alot of missions and alot time for training, it was his time to shine and make his village the strongest and make them proud of him, the chuunin exams were waiting for him to come. As he stood in the big stadium it was open air and he looked around at the crowds he didnt know any of them and he was on his top mood nothing make him worry. The floor was dirt and there were patches grass around as he eyes could see. The young silver haired boy turned at his opponent and his opponent was wearing a iconic steel face mask Araki couldnt know how was his opponent expression, Araki was 15meters away from his opponent . " Good Luck" He said with a deep voice.

Arming himself with two simple shuriken -held between the grooves of his fingers- as his opponent arrived within the stadium, he huffed a disappointing sigh, knowing that the exam would've been all too easy. Even so, in front of Akira and Anko, he'd show honor, or at least, the best way he could. Without warning, Chae moved forward with a halfhearted sprint through the relatively open area, and it would've been only a matter of seconds before his average speed reduced the 15 meters that separated the two down to a meager 5. His shadow, as commanded, trailed behind Chae, guarded by its host completely whose chakra thrummed and flared, waiting for its cue.

As Araki arrived, He noticed his opponent, Chae, arming himself with two shuriken between his right hand fingers . As Chae moved forward, The young silver haired boy grabbed his five tagged shuriken with both his hand (three for his left hand and two for his right hand) and threw them at him during his sprint and perform a single handseal in instant that would made the explosion seals exploded. If Chae avoid the shuriken tagged, Araki would grabbed two tagged kunai with both hands and throw them to either side of his statue as he remained stationary, and performed three hand seals and used Chidori.

Fuubaku Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique used by shinobi in conjunction with common explosive devices such as exploding notes. With this, the user can choose when their explosives detonate, opposed to being at the mercy of a countdown.

Note: This ability allows the user detonate his or her explosive notes, opposed to allowing them to be "timed" explosives. Without this technique, the user cannot automatically detonate their tags.

One of the rare techniques within the shinobi world involving both shape and nature manipulation, Chidori is a Raiton based ninjutsu developed for the purpose of ensured assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, the user's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack. After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, the user rushes forward in order to use the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name.

Note: Pierces through barriers 'A' rank and below, and instantly paralyzes the victim's body upon impact for the remainder of the turn it was used, presuming the strike doesn't kill the victim.

Considering that the seal to ignite the tags explosion 'instantly' followed their launch, it went without saying that the explosion itself wouldn't' have reached (or crossed the distance) Chae and instead consumed its user. Chae would've breached a 5 meter threshold however, with his halfhearted sprint and the boy's premature tag detonation, he stopped in awe upon realizing his opponent 'opted out'.

As chae saved from the shurikens that Araki threw at him probably The young silver haired boy didnt timed it well, his own explosion hit him badly sent him 10 meters away and made third degree burns and made his power 50% and luckily his statue didn't destroyed, the young silver haired boy got up and grabbed one tagged kunai and a normal kuna barely with both hands and throw one of them at chae the normal one at his head and he was holding the tagged one, he was thinking ofa plan.

I was called in to give a ruling on a specific portion of the fight thus far.

The young silver haired boy grabbed his five tagged shuriken with both his hand (three for his left hand and two for his right hand) and threw them at him during his sprint and perform a single handseal in instant that would made the explosion seals exploded.

Unfortunately, due to the incredibly poor wording of this sentence, the actions occur as follows: Araki throws the kunai and then detonates them instantly.

So, you pretty much just ate a handful of explosions from your own tagged shuriken (five, to be exact). Being a little lenient here, though, since it seems like this is your first real fight. Rather than killing you, the explosion(s) simply knock you back ten meters with severe burns (third degree), all the while leaving you very daze and off balance (you'll be operating at 50% capacity; vision, hearing, speed and strength included for the next five posts).
