DESCRIPTION: Just like any other village, Kusagakure has its abundance of letters to be delivered each day to its citizens, may it be from foreign villages, or from within the village itself. Given that this isn't an easy job given the steadily growing amount of people, the postal organization within Kusagakure have called upon shinobi to help deliver the mail in the mornings. Given the heightened speed of shinobi to compare with average civilians, this help is very much appreciated for those who wish to get their mail delivered in time. Don't be late!

OBJECTIVE: Help deliver some mail around the village.

PAY: 25 EXP and 500 Ryo.

“Rukei get your ass up! You know you’ve got an early morning mission today!”

The sound of the boy’s mothers voice would echo from the outside into his voice, Rukei would snap right of his sleep into a seated position. ‘daggit.’ The boy thought to himself as he looked out of the window, ‘the suns not even up yet.’ He thought to himself as he dragged his self to the side of the bed. ‘Well I guess I gotta start early.’ He thought to himself as he sat their looking at his feet for a moment, he was in sort of a trans for moment.  

“I hope you’re not sitting their looking stupid Rukei, or I’ll have your father come and get you up!” 

Kanari voice snapped the boy right out of his trans, he knew he didn’t want to have to deal with his dad so early in the morning so he got up out the bed to get ready. Rukei stepped over to the mirror for a second while he still had his PJ’s on, he would look in the mirror for a second before ruffling his hair up a bit, ‘ahh that looks good.’ He thought as he had got it to it’s normal style. Once that was done he quickly began to grab his clothing to get ready, he pulled out a red shirt with his clans emblem on the front with a pair of his black pants. ‘Perfect.’ he thought to himself as he quickly threw on the clothes, once he was fully clothed the boy stepped in front of the mirror once more checking himself out. ‘Ahh yeah.’ He would quickly start to look for his shoes around his room, once he found them he slipped them on just before his mother came bursting through the door.

“Didn't I-- Oh that’s what I thought. The mail is down stairs, don’t forgot to wear your jacket Rukei. Taka is still resting up he said he’s not ready to start doing missions yet so he’s still working with your father ok?”

Rukei would nod to his mom as he found his shoes, Kanari would make her exit from the room while Rukei put on his shoes. The Uchiha would begin to tie them up while he looked in the mirror smiling at his on reflection, ’Lets see how fast I can get this done.’ Rukei thought as he stood up  and looked over his outfit. After his final check the Genin was on his way out the door, he quickly grabbed his  jacket throwing it over his shoulders heading down stairs to the front door.

“Bye mom, I’ll see ya later dad!”

He’d say as he grabbed the bag of mail before he left out the door, Rukei would take off running into the village full speed. ’Suns just barely up in the air.’ Rukei thought as he sped out the gates at the front of his home, the Uchiha would begin to reach into the bag of mail pulling the first envelope from his bag. ’1424 grasslane’ he read on the paper, ’I know where that’s at I’ll take to the roof first.’ He thought as he slid the mail into his own bag, once the Genin spotted the a building he could get to the top of he would quickly jet up the side of the building. 

Now it shouldn’t be too far north from here he thought to himself as he reached the top of the building. Rukei would put a bit more pep in his step as he ran, he kept a watchful eye on each street sign he passed making sure he didn’t pass up the street he was looking for. He traveled about 15 minutes more before he spotted grasslane, he would jump from the top of the building landing on the ground in a crouching position. 

“I think it’s that way.”

Rukei said as he looked down the street, he would take off running down the street looking at each address. ’Gotcha.’ Rukei grabbed the letter from his bag as he made his way into the peoples small yard, he made sure to keep a very light foot as he walked into the peoples yard. He wasn’t sure if the people knew about him being assigned as the mailman and didn’t want to be mistaken as criminal. Once he arrived at the front door the Uchiha would place the envelope into their mailbox.

“Now let me see if I have anymore grasslane mail.”

He thought to himself as he turned away from the door shuffling through his bag a bit, ’Yup let me knock these out right now.”

“Oh gee that was fun.”

The Uchiha said to himself as he had finished out grasslane, he’d reach into his bag pulling out another note to see what his next address was. Quickly reading of the envelope Rukei noticed that it said ‘Grass ave.’ shortly after he figured out the adress the Uchiha would stuff the letter into his tool bag, he would take off running down the street as fast as he could cutting the first left he came too. ‘Shouldn’t be too far from here.” Rukei thought as he darted down the street he was traveling on, the sun was now starting to get a little higher in the sky signaling that the morning was well on it’s way. The shinobi would cut the next corner and shoot down that street, he would look up quickly locating a street sign. ‘Word Grass Ave’ he thought as he directed his attention to the houses on the street.

“Now which one is it?”

He asked himself as he slowed his run down a bit, he would pull the letter from his bag to look over it once more. ‘500 Grass Ave.’ As he read the letter he turned his eyes back towards the houses, he would begin to count them down until he finally came across 500. ‘Ahh this is it.’ he would say as he stopped in front of the house, he would look around the yard before opening the gate. ‘Looks good.’ he said as he pushed into the yard, but little did the Uchiha know the residents here had a couple of dogs, big dogs. As he just about to the entrance Rukei found himself be followed by three well groomed German shepherds.

“Ummm, uhhhhh, shit.”

The boy quickly dropped the letter while jumping to the roof of the house, ‘what the heck.’ Rukei though as he looked down on all the dogs standing just below. All of them would begin to bark like he was doing something wrong, Rukei nervously stood their for a moment because he was sure that he didn’t want to hurt the dogs. But too his luck the owner came outside to address the dogs, and he wasn’t too happy about their barking.

“Shut the fuck up don’t you know how early it is? Oh the mails here. Mail man if you’re around you’re good to go mate.”

As the man spoke Rukei jumped from his roof landing behind the dogs, Rukei would quickly jetted out of his gates down the street. ’What’s next.’ he thought to himself as he looked into his bag once more, ’Looks like I’m almost done.’ he would reach into the bag pulling out a couple more letters that were suppose to be delivered on this street. Rukei would make quick work of the last couple of houses on Grass Ave, once he was done he would stop for a moment to look into his bag again.

“Look like we had mail at home and the atrium.”

The Uchiha shot off running down the street once more, this time he had to cross town because he had to get to the Atrium for the other side of town. ’Well good thing I know a short cut.’ Rukei thought while he jetted down the street leaving a trail of dust as he ran, the boy knew the city of Kusagakure like the back of hands which always played in his favor when he moved through the village. He cut one corner before hitting up a one of the various builidngs in the village. Once he reached the top of the building he stopped for a second to look around ‘Their it is, I’ll cut through town square.’ The shinobi would take off cutting across the building leaping to the next. Rukei would move as fast he could crossing over from building to building make sure he didn’t slip and fall, it wouldn’t take him vary long before he reached town square. He would leap down off the building tops cutting through the open space of the town.

“Hey Old lady Obachan!”

The boy would wave to the older woman as he seen her opening up her shop, he didn’t stop to talk though he kept on moving ripping through the town square because it wasn’t to congested. Once he reached the other side he scaled another building allowing him to return to the rooftops, in the distance he could see the atrium. ‘Ehh almost there.’ He kept on pushing towards the building as fast as he could he knew that he wasn’t going to be able to get their before it opened but he knew it wasn’t that big of deal to get there before it opened. Once he crossed about 10 more buildings he found him self at the gates atrium, the boy quickly sprinted up the path that lead to it’s doors bursting into the doors. As he entered all eyes were on him as he bolted towards the receptionist desk while he reached into his bag.

“Here ya go, I got one more place to go. I’ll be back be ready to approve me for another mission!”

Once he dropped off the majority of the envelops he had in his bag he made his way back to the exit, he pushed out the doors with one thing on his mind. ‘I wonder If I could catch moms breakfast.’ The Uchiha thought to himself as he bolted towards his home on the hills, Rukei too the most direct route he could think of on his way home. It hadn’t taken him more than 15 minutes before he reached the steps that lead to his home, the hopped jumped and skipped up the entrance and through the gates. He’d reach his hand into his bag pulling out a small stack of mail, once he arrived he knocked on the door.

“Mom, Dad… You’ve got mail!”

He’d say while he laughed a bit, once Kanari made her way to the door Rukei handed her the mail and jetted past her towards the kitchen.
