{Mission}MISSION NAME: Spy from the Sky!
MISSION RANK: B
MISSION DESCRIPTION: There seems to be a midst of trouble brewing within the clouds of Kumogakure. Someone has been entering in one of the Raikage's Temple's without permission. It has been discovered that someone is stealing information on certain shinobi, attempting to sell said information to another village and that they continuously return at night to grab more documents, one can say that it is possible that this treacherous being is planning to desert the village after acquiring the amount of info. needed. You have one night to retrieve the documents that have been stolen from the Raikage's temple come morning, if the enemy hasn't been dealt with or detained, then consequences will be enforced to those who take this mission and fail.
NOTE: The enemy should be of Chunin or Jounin status, this mission should not be an easy breeze.

Midnight, the layer of black covered both the village and the outskirts. Afar, light shun from the city which illuminated the night sky. The stars shined in the night, providing sufficient light to the night sky. A cold breeze blew through the forests that led out of the city; the breeze blew the branches and the trees, every so often leaves blew across the footpaths and made their way north. Amid the trees, sat one individual clad with a blue jumpsuit and armed with two blades that were positioned differently to his regular arrangement.

The first of the blades was positioned across the mans lower back and extended out toward his right side, allowed for it to be drawn with ease. The second blade came over the left shoulder and glistened in the light. Now, some would be questioning why someone would be on the outskirts of the village this late at night, but the answer was simple. A member of the village had entered the Raikages Temple and had stolen some critical documents that could expose a lot of critical village secrets.

Nagato, the Shinobi that sat in the woods took a task upon himself to bring back the assailant, be it dead or alive. He was surprised that the Anbu weren’t tasked to handle such a situation but it mattered not as it gave him an opportunity to prove himself to the Raikage. Prior to departing, he ensured that his blades were sharpened and that he had all the relevant gear, food and water alike. Although he ran out of his food and water rations, he was full and refreshed but there was still no sight of anyone.

Suddenly, the sound of light food steps echoed into the area as someone approached from the East. The distance between the duo was closing at a rapid pace, it seemed whoever this individual was, he was in somewhat of a hurry. Nagato hadn’t received a lot of information about the mission, aside from the fact that the stolen information had to be retrieved but some information that he did manage to receive was that no one was scheduled to leave the village tonight so whoever was departing was no doubt the target.

Nagoto kept close to the tree as he moved his head to glance out toward the stranger in the distance. Every so often the stranger glanced back, his forehead protector reflecting the light from the skies every time his head faced forward. As he approached, more and more of his attire became visible, he wore a flak jacket that was the traditional white accompanied by the Kumogakure emblem.

With the sudden brushing sound of the leaves, Nagato launched himself into the air. As the thief neared, Nagato landed around twenty meters away from the man, his right knee against the ground and his arched posture not revealing his face. In the meantime, his secured his right hand around the hilt of his first Chokuto, the one that was positioned near his lower back. “Identify yourself.” Nagato sounded cool and composed as he issued the order.

His head slowly went onto look up at the man who was frozen in his tracks. “I-I I carry a message from the Raikage to the Tsuchikage, J-J-jounin of Kumogakure--- Ichiro Tsugichi. I’ll show you, here!” at first the man stuttered but when it came to announcing his own name he appeared to have regained his confidence and with that, he began approaching Nagato. He moved his right hand into his flak jacket, withdrawing a wrapped scroll; he then extended his hand out, offering him the scroll prior to taking numerous steps back and away from the scroll it self.

Nagato shifted his gaze from the scrolls to the man while slowly opening it; at first, the scroll appeared empty but then his eyes widened as the main body of the scroll was lined with explosive tags. He threw the scroll forward, rapidly turning on his heels as the other shinobi detonated the tags, sending a thunder explosion into the otherwise quiet vicinity. As Nagato turned, he channelled chakra to his feet and combined it with the elastic potential generated by his knelt posture, he combined the two to effectively utilise the body flicker technique.

Although he moved at a rapid pace, it didn’t stop the flames catching the rear of his attire alight, so although he moved the flames made him a sitting duck. The instant he came to a stop he pulled his blades off his attire and laid them on the ground before pulling on the attire that covered his upper body. In an instant he ripped the flaming clothing off and tossed it to one side. The cocky jounin stood in front of the flames, thinking that he had brought the endeavour to stop him to an abrupt end.

Nagato gritted his teeth and grimaced as he drew both his blades from their respective sheaths and turned toward the flames. Within seconds the flames cleared and Nagato stood with a blade at each side. The chakra descended toward his feet once more and he performed the body flicker technique, throughout the course of the body flicker, he placed his left Chokuto not far from the duo. Upon arrival, he moved his right blade down at the man’s shoulder only to be met with the solid steel of a Kunai. As the metals clashed, Nagato shifted the blade past the man’s side prior to moving it across toward individuals thigh, unfortunately the crafty jounin managed to conjure up a few hand signs and generated a plasma ball around his body.

The lightning that resonated from the defense forced Nagato to retreat. He shifted his sight to the man who was forming additional hand signs. As the signs were formed, the plasma ball slowly contracted and into a ball that bolted out toward Nagato. However, as the ball moved toward his body, he began running toward the attack while charka spread across his body, accelerating the rate at which impulses travelled across his body. The technique went by the name of Battojutsu, the main element of offensive Kenjutsu!

As the ball got nearer to Nagato, he jumped, spinning through the air past the right side of the ball. As he spin, some lightning boomed across his body making him twitch. Before long the threat had passed and Nagato had landed, moving the blade across the Jounins torso. The first cut wasn’t all too deep as the flak jacket acted as a layer of protection. Nagato turned the blade so that the blade faced the opposite direction and in one false swoop he moved it through the same wound, making the incision deeper.

As the blade re-entered the wound, the jounin moved his right hand in front of the blade and stopped it in it’s tracks while grunting in pain. He extended his left hand, striking Nagatos bicep. Suddenly, he felt his bicep go numb and felt the lightning pass through his body. He grimaced, as he lost grip of his blade and pushed off the ground, retreating toward his second Chokuto.

All of a sudden, water began making its way toward Nagato as the jounin removed the blade from his torso and tossed it to one side. The pace at which the water made its way toward Nagato suddenly increased and the jounin simply placed his palm against the water to release a great surge of electricity. Nagato placed his left hand onto the hilt of his blade, lifting his body off the ground in the process. He rapidly swapped his left hand with his left foot, he rotated atop the hilt, generating a bolt of electricity in his left palm.

With a sudden final rotation, he launched the bolt toward the man; upon contact it ripped straight through the shoulder bones. The man fell back, groaning in pain before slowly lifting himself off the ground. In the meantime, Nagato secured a grip onto his Chokuto, pulling it from the ground as lightning began surging through it.

He took off toward the jounin as the man reached into a pouch, drawing multiple explosive tags; in a swing he tossed them toward Nagato but before he could get them far enough to detonate, a blade fuelled by electricity tore through the tags, although one drifted with the wind and exploded several feet from Nagatos body. The pressure pushed him off course but before long he was upon his prey; his blade descending down toward the mans chest. As the blade descended, the sudden light that shun from the moon lit the surrounding area, exposing the countless explosive tags that had laid around the Jounins body. Nagatos eyes widened as he slammed the blade into the ground, pushing himself off the ground in the process.

Within second he was out of the range of the tags while his right hand regained mobility. As he began descending toward the ground, the Jounin smirked and brought his right hand level with the center of his ribcage whilst Nagato spun in his descent. Before the jounin could act, a linear spear composed solely of Raiton Chakra extended from Nagatos hand, cutting two of the mans fingers off before piercing the individuals chest and heart.

Before long, Nagato landed. He began by collecting his chokuto prior to looting the mans bag off his body and securing his heavy blood covered body over his shoulder. “What a way to go ey’…” with that, he began marching toward village. Within twenty minutes, he arrived at the gates where the Anbu greeted him. They took the liberty of disposing of the body that Nagato had brought back while Nagato made his way to the Cloud temple in order to deliver the stolen documents.

On his journey, he happened to notice the villagers looking at him in an odd manner. He passed the ramen stand where he ate on occasion and the old man yelled 'Where's ya' shirt boy'. The utterance suddenly made Nagato realize the cold wind that had stuck his skin as well as the fact that he was in the middle of the village without wearing anything to cover his torso. With every step that he took, the breeze got strong to a point where it sent shivers up his spine. It was night after all and what little villagers were out couldn't help but comment on the rugged look.

Nagatos  eyes darted from point to point as he shook his head in disbelief. It seemed to him that the villagers loved to comment on the appearances of others when they themselves looked like absolute crap. He on the other hand, didn't voice his opinions through a medium of whispering, but rather allowed the sound waves to transcend through one ear and out the other. He didn't care for their opinions as he felt that a day would come when he would prove them wrong. He wasn't well known around the village and the truth in the matter was that he was an orphan and all orphans were treat the same... they were threat like shit.
