Below is a list of missions sorted by rank. Unless a mission explicitly states that visiting the kage is necessary to take the mission simply being the correct rank is enough to allow one to have permission automatically. Please read the descriptions for the mission before you take it and complete the objectives that are written. How you complete the objectives doesn't necessarily matter so long as it follows along with the content of the mission. Failure to complete the objectives will result in reduced reward or failure of the mission completely.

MISSION DESCRIPTION: A young boy by the name of Sato has lost his pet hawk, Taka-Taka. It's possible it can be hiding somewhere in a very high place. Hawk's enjoy soaring through the sky and resting on high places where it may be able to nest, so if I were you? I'd start with the highest place if I wanted to find this lost animal.

The students at the Academy are dying to see some cool ninjutsu being used. It doesn't matter what rank you are. Be it Genin, Chunin, or Jounin! Come show us your hot stuff, hot stuff~!

MISSION DESCRIPTION: There's a band in need of a temporary replacement to one of its musicians. Word around the office is that you know, coincidentally, how to play the instrument the band is looking for. So, if you'd like to score some ryo playing this gig, feel free to head down there and lend them your talent.

MISSION RANK: D
MISSION DESCRIPTION: If you're over 18 years of age, and know a thing or two about cocktails, this job is for you. Most bars around Kumogakure no Sato are usually looking for an extra pair of hands, even if it's just temporary. Tips are good, drinks are free, and people are, for the most part, friendly. Just don't make a fool out of yourself and you'll be fine.

MISSION NAME: Animal Control
MISSION RANK: D
MISSION DESCRIPTION: Surrounded by the wilderness of pine-forested mountains, Kumogakure no Sato gets its fair share of wild animals in urban areas. These animals hassle, and sometimes endanger, the lives of our citizens on a near frequent basis. Lend the animal control operatives a hand, and help them capture, relocate, or-- if necessary-- kill any animals you come across. These creatures range from lost deer to raccoons scavenging for food in the garbage. If you're looking to tackle more dangerous creatures, we suggest you take 'Advanced Animal Control'.

MISSION NAME: Preparation Services
MISSION RANK: D
MISSION DESCRIPTION: Kumogakure no Sato hosts a monthly preparation service for all of its citizens, teaching them basic survival tactics, emergency medical training, and contingencies in case of a disaster. Some have even expressed an interest in learning how to properly wield weapons, or mold chakra for basic academy techniques. Head down there and assist the volunteers teaching them. Kumogakure no Sato, and all of its citizens, should be prepared for whatever troubles may come.

MISSION NAME: Gutter Maintenance
MISSION RANK: D
MISSION DESCRIPTION: We don't get much more than just a light drizzle around here. But when we do get some rainfall, it's heavy. Without a proper system of gutters and drains, some of Kumogakure no Sato's districts have experienced problems with flooding. A handful of these gutters are broken, however. And some of the drains leading to the sewers below are clogged with garbage. You'd be doing a great service to your village if you cleared these issues up.

MISSION NAME: Whitesmith
MISSION RANK: D
MISSION DESCRIPTION: A Whitesmith in one of our districts has asked for assistance. Unlike Blacksmith's, Whitesmith's deal with metals of the "white" variety-- such as tin and pewter. Thanks to the many Whitesmith's of Kumogakure no Sato, we have items such as cups, pitchers, forks, spoons, candle holders, and a variety of other appliances. Though they might use a hearth to heat and help shape their raw materials, Whitesmith's typically deal with fabricating cold metal, and is therefore considered to be less dangerous than the Blacksmith profession.

MISSION DESCRIPTION: You've been called out by Moshi-Moshi, the lunatic Taijutsu fighter who continues to bother all of the shinobi's in the village, challenging them to a fight in hand to hand combat. Can you show this guy what your made of and knock him off his feet? He could really use a reality check. Finish him!

MISSION NAME: A Demolition Job
MISSION RANK: C
MISSION DESCRIPTION: With Kumogakure no Sato's recent uprising in renovations, there are plenty of old buildings that need to be taken down. At a lack for machines capable of reducing these two (sometimes, five) story buildings to rubble, we'd like you to assist the construction workers by doing it for them. Be it with the force of ninjutsu, or carefully plotted out taijutsu strikes, you're going to need to find a way to take down the designated buildings in a timely, and contained, fashion. By contained, of course, we mean safe. We wouldn't like pieces of rubble striking nearby civilians, or other buildings. Should you meet the requirements of the assignment, you may return to HQ for your reward, and a cold glass of lemonade for a hard day's work.

MISSION NAME: Saint Cloud Carnival

MISSION DESCRIPTION: The famous "Saint Cloud Carnival" is back in town, and they've requested our aid. It would appear that many of their performers were, yet again, stricken with illness and injuries during their journey through our mountainous lands. So, needless to say, they are in need of a temporary performer to entertain their crowds. They've asked for a shinobi, and left the specifics of the performance up to us. So, whether you choose to display an adept control over a particular ninjutsu element, or instead decide to dazzle with the acrobatics of a taijutsu master, just to be sure to entertain and make the carnival proud!

MISSION NAME: City Patrol
MISSION RANK: C
MISSION DESCRIPTION: Although our fair city is as peaceful and vibrant as any other civilized communities come, Kumogakure no Sato does have its fair share of petty thieves, no-good crooks, and rambunctious miscreants. Your task is simple: spend the day searching for, rooting out, and detaining these sorry criminals. Try to avoid destroying any of the city's property and, most importantly, strive to ensure none of our civilians get hurt in the process of any of these arrests. In addition, be sure that you've acquired suitable evidence, or at least caught these criminal's red-handed, before arresting them. Our judicial system frowns upon arrests with no validations!

MISSION NAME: Fire Department
MISSION RANK: C
MISSION DESCRIPTION: It's hard to believe that we get any fires around here-- considering our usually moisture rich climate-- but we do. Our fire department, though expertly trained and filled with a good number of brave men and women, sometimes lack a good response time to emergencies. This tends to result in the deaths of a handful of civilians at the end of the year. We'd like you to remedy that statistic as efficiently as you can. Keep an eye out for fires, head towards the situation quickly, and save any civilians in danger. Then contain the fire until the professionals arrive.

MISSION NAME: Forest Management
MISSION RANK: C
MISSION DESCRIPTION: Some of the tall pine trees surrounding the fringes of Kumogakure no Sato's territory have grown impressively large and terribly old, threatening to snap at any moment and crush any unlucky bystander (or piece of property) that might be in the area. We need you to go out with the forest management workers and assist in cutting these trees down before it ever comes to that. Be sure to yell "timber!". We wouldn't want any of you crushed.

MISSION NAME: Advanced Animal Control
MISSION RANK: C
MISSION DESCRIPTION: Surrounded by the wilderness of pine-forested mountains, Kumogakure no Sato gets its fair share of wild animals in urban areas. [/b] Spy from the Sky!
MISSION RANK: B
MISSION DESCRIPTION: There seems to be a midst of trouble brewing within the clouds of Kumogakure. Someone has been seen trying to sneak around restricted buildings and taking down information on citizens. ANBU has been following him for two days and believe he many be trying to steal information about the village or a certain shinobi. According to his visa he is set to leave the village by the end of the week. Your mission is to follow the suspect and record any suspicious behaviour. If confronted, apprehend the suspect. However due to his mysterious background it has been advised to approach with caution.

MISSION RESTRICTIONS: Enemy should be chuunin or jounin rank.

MISSION NAME: Taken!
MISSION RANK: B
MISSION DESCRIPTION: A string of kidnappings have run rampant within Kumogakure no Sato, and the culprit(s) have eluded many of our best shinobi. The victims that have been taken happen to share similar traits, and the most recent kidnapping occurred only a day ago. Investigate this matter further, identify the criminal(s) responsible, and bring back our citizens safe and unharmed.

MISSION NAME: A Dangerous Toxin Detected
MISSION RANK: B
MISSION DESCRIPTION: The head of the Sakurai Clan has been targeted. They are a clan of herbalist who can make the greatest of medicine within the village, if their clan leader's head were to be taken it could be a great downfall to our village. It is unsure as to how many enemies there will be, so keep low. There could also be a traitor among them, so keep an eye on the leader and make sure not to let him out of your sight.

MISSION DESCRIPTION: Go outside of the village and make sure that there are no suspicious activities occurring. If anything is to be seen or deemed out of the ordinary, report back to the Raikage immediately and give your report.

MISSION NAME: Under Recent Tidings

MISSION DESCRIPTION: Our shinobi made a fairly... surprising find, the other day. After being called by an anonymous informant, we were forced to break into a house, only to find that the place had been ransacked and deserted. Blood stains were found on nearly every surface, but when the results came back, we discovered that it was nothing but a hoax- pig's blood. Find the man who once lived there- dead or alive- and discover what the purpose of this charade was.

MISSION DESCRIPTION: Some whacko's been releasing wild animals into very public places within Kumogakure no Sato. We've had things like cougars attacking pedestrians in farmer's markets, wolves running rampant in plazas, and even- on one strange occurrence- an elephant crashing a spring festival! We need you to detain any animals you might across- until our wildlife experts can tranquilize them- but, most importantly, we need you to find the culprit.

MISSION NAME: Treacherous Villian
MISSION RANK: B
MISSION DESCRIPTION: The freaks just keep coming out of the wood-work. A clownish psychopath- who operates as a Ninjutsu Primary- has recently sent us a disturbing message. He wants the same "masked vigilante" you captured for us recently to meet with him at a specific place, on a specific time, for a showdown. No doubt, he has a trap set-up. What's worse, however, is that he's threatening to detonate bombs covertly placed in public locales within Kumogakure no Sato if we don't deliver. We've sent agents to secretly scour such locales in search for these explosives, but we're entrusting you with taking down this super-villain of sorts. And, although skeptical of it, we're giving you the option of releasing- and working alongside- the same "masked vigilante" you helped us imprison. Just make sure no civilians get hurt.

MISSION NAME: The Beautiful World of Cinema

MISSION DESCRIPTION: We've got a big-hit brewing at the heart of Kumogakure no Sato. A massive film crew has begun filming an epic that is sure to reel in unimaginable amounts of ryo at the movie theaters. Problem is, they don't have a security crew capable enough to hold back the tides of fans craving to get an autograph from that foreign hunk, or a hug from that gorgeous actress. So they've hired our services. To keep away the fan trying to sneak onto the set, or the fan attempting to trespass into the actor's trailer, just for a lock of hair from a hairbrush. Or worse, that dangerous psychopath who thinks the main actress and him are meant to be together... Just try not to have anyone killed, okay?

MISSION NAME: Raised by Wolves

MISSION DESCRIPTION: We've got reports of strange sightings in the pine forests of Kaminari no Kuni. Seems like a boy, only about thirteen or fifteen years old, is living out there. And people say that he's running with a pack of wolves. As strange as that sounds, one of our shinobi has reported that this is in fact true. As much fun as that boy might be having with his family of wolves, we can't have such a vicious and unpredictable anomaly running around in the woods. So we're entrusting you with the task of investigating this matter further, combing the woods for his presence, and bringing him back to Kumogakure no Sato for long-needed rehabilitation. He won't go easy, and his parents (the alphas) won't back down.

MISSION RANK: A
MISSION DESCRIPTION: As vast as our beautiful land is, there are only a few main roads the caravans of this continent use to traverse the territory. These are the main arteries of Kaminari no Kuni, routes important beyond measure, and responsible for supplying many of the villages here with food, cloth, and resources such as timber, steel, and iron. Unfortunately, a posse of missing-ninja have seen fit to disrupt these arteries with their presence, attacking the caravans, and looting all of the wares. Obviously, we'd like a shinobi of your skill to find these criminals, and promptly rid this world of them once you do. It would be preferable if you found their hideout as well-- so that we can return the stolen items to their rightful owners.

MISSION NAME: Everybody Wants to Rule The World
MISSION RANK: A
MISSION DESCRIPTION: There are two prominent casino's in Kami no Shima's Entertainment District-- the elegant Elux, and the swanky Sodom Seven-- currently embroiled in a vicious war between one another. The casino heads, two young hotshots who have just inherited their position from their now deceased father's, blame each other for the deaths of their respective patriarchs. Having already investigated the matter, to a certain extent, we are now certain that this bitter affair will not end until both of them are dead. So we entrust you with the assassination of these targets. Be as discreet as possible, and do what you must to infiltrate each casino, whilst making certain that their deaths aren't too far apart. Once one of them gets wind that the other is dead, they'll certainly rally their forces to take over the other's estate. With numerous cadres of highly trained (and hired) shinobi at their disposal, the manpower behind these casinos are not to be taken lightly.

MISSION NAME: Apple Blossom Times
MISSION RANK: A
MISSION DESCRIPTION: There's a house, on a cliff, bordering the Eastern Sea of Kaminari no Kuni. In this house, there lives a very old man. A sterling general, in his prime, he is nothing more than a defeated veteran of the World War now. But, Kumogakure no Sato (and the mysterious Raikage running it) have nonetheless kept their tabs on this man. Because, despite his solitary behavior, this old dog of war has his secrets. About the war. About the country. About power. He seldom talks, however. And, when he does, it's usually to yell at you to go away. But, we can't abandon him now. Not when he's so close to death. And, especially not with a secret organization actively attempting to capture him. Head over to this house on the cliff, and protect our old veteran from any of the highly trained intruders. Meanwhile, whenever you get the chance to talk to him, try to remind this bitter fool of better times-- apple blossom times. And, if/when he dies, give him a proper viking's funeral-- leaving no secrets to find behind.

MISSION NAME: Hell on Wheels
MISSION RANK: A
MISSION DESCRIPTION: We've just received an emergency call from a small village in Kaminari no Kuni-- the infamous 'Hell On Wheels' is back. Rumored at first to be a supernatural phenomenon, we've managed to ascertain that the 'Hell On Wheels' is no more than a crazed arsonist with a mask, driving around the countryside in a horse-drawn carriage, painted a gleaming blood red. With an accomplice who rides shotgun, the passengers of the 'Hell On Wheels' throw molotov cocktails and firing katon jutsu into the forests of our homeland, seeking nothing more than random destruction. Recently, however, they've started to assault small towns. We'd like a shinobi of your skill to put an end to this. Beware, however. The 'Hell On Wheels'-- going at an alarming fifty miles per hour-- does not stop for anyone. And, their carriage is said to be protected from long-range attacks by a sphere of wind-generated force-- thanks to the accomplice riding shotgun. You'll have to physically board the carriage, and dispatch of them during the ride.
