The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
Whoever Issho was he obviously wasn't briefed on Seishin's skillset that well. Either that or he was stupid. As Seishin had charged at him, and his insects rushed forward in tandem, Issho continued his rush. Attempting to push through the insects, Issho made a common mistake many made when facing the insect ridden chuunin. He assumed Sei's insects were controlled by his mind alone. He assumed that they shared a will. He assumed that they could not act on their own. And he was wrong.
As Issho pushed his way through the insects, they would cling on to him, wrapping to pursue the chakra their owner had set them to target, relentlesly. They swirled and spiraled to ensare him. Issho's blow did catch the chuunin unaware however, knocking him back into a cloud of insects and loosening a few molars. Or rather, it would have if it landed. Seishin had previously prepared himself for the clash, and the surge in chakra in his body was meant to activate the minute he and Issho would clash. A trap of the most basic variety. A simple Body Replacement. That was all that was needed to ensnare Issho completely with kikkaichu. The cloud of insects that followed Seishin swapped places with him, as he had planned, the moment the distance between them was reduced to nothing. The only thing Issho would strike is a cluster of insects.
They would wrap around him, feasting on his chakra as they did so. The ones he struck would mix with the others that never gave up their pursuit. He would be covered, head to toe, by 800 insects. Now only 2 meters away do to the quick exchange, Seishin retrieved a medium sized, steel machete from the sheath hidden within his clothing. His apparel hid numerous dangers within it's pockets. The shinobi stood prepared with another hand reaching into the back entrance of his jumpsuit. One hand gripping steel. The other gripping a mystery.
"...Lets see you get out of this..."
Issho had proven himself a hand to hand fighter. Though covered in insects that bound and feasted upon him, that rarely mattered. Seishin wanted to flash an eye at Makoto's battle. Was she fairing well? Curiosity burned within, but wisdom took hold quickly. Issho might continue his assault even if the insects attempted to drain him. Had he continued his assault regardless of the insects encapsulating him, Seishin would meet him again with another prepared counter. He would not underestimate the Jounin. He readied his body.
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique) Rank: E Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Miniscule Kawarimi no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the user will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object - generally a block of wood, but sometimes even another person - the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield. Explosvie tags can be attached to the placement for an added surprise!
Note: Switch is near-instantaneous. This technique can only be used once per three turn. While one can switch with a variety of things it needs to be within reason, switching with a chair, log, fallen tree is acceptable, but switching with a dust particle is obviously not.
Kikaichuu no Jutsu (Destruction Bug Technique) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Low to use and sustain
Kikaichuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilized by the Aburame clan. At birth, the user is serves to host as a nest for the Kikaichuu. In exchange for allowing them to feed off their chakra, the bugs will do the bidding of the user. These insects are capable of seeking out the chakra of the opponent, draining it (Mid per turn), and giving it to the user (Half of amount drained), increasing their own reserve.
Note: By default, members of the Aburame clan begin every battle with 2,000 bugs.

LIGHTNING MAKES NO SOUND UNTIL IT STRIKES
The edge of his blade cut through her clothing with a clean strike, the fabric wilting and parting in an instant. Oh my...voluptuous indeed the Raikage thought as his dirty old mind wandered for a moment. But what really stood out was her defense as the dark tan of her skin remained unstained from his blade. He watched Makato skip backwards a few meters as she moved to form seals.
While his eyes analysed; his figure kept moving, except not in the direction of his initial strike this time. It would have made sense to continue forward, catching her off-guard with a barrage of strikes before she could form seals - but that wasn't his intention this morning. With his blade sheathed, his movement would curve around to her left side as he tried to flank her, moving her towards her newly formed teammate Seishin who was positioned further to her right. The Raikage and Issho would push the two together, no longer allowing them to have space of their own, they would be herded by the two, pushed to work in conjunction with one another.
Age had stripped Maduke of raw speed many years ago, but what remained was refined and precise. In close quarters, there was no one who could move the grace and vigor of the Raikage. As Makato came to the end of her seals should would realize the figure of the Raikage was closing in on one meter to her left, the hilt of his sheathed blade glowing1 as his body remained low like his previous strike. Would she choose to initiate an offensive strike or defend herself once again?
Issho could feel his fist make impact upon something, but to his discontent it was another swarm of bugs. Commanded by the chuunin, the bugs swarmed around his figure attempting to cling to his flesh and leech the chakra from him. With the initial cloud of insects, plus those used to replace the real Seishin, his figure was now completely disguised by their black mass - something he would use to his advantage near-instantly. Using the insects that surrounded him as a distraction, Issho vanished2 near-instantly to reappear in mid-air on Seishin's left-hand side, leaving a trail of bugs in his wake.
Using the momentum of his high-speed movement he would spin in the air, launching a spinning back kick3 into the side of Seishin in an attempt to thrust his body into Makato who was meters to his right. Bugs remained clinged to his clothing and skin, draining his chakra, although fewer than before as a contingent were lost by his high-speed movement. However this did not concern the man, as for now he was focused on forcing the two students together, and if all was successful Seishin's figure would crash into his new teammate.
1. Tsuka Dageki (Hilt Blow) (C-Rank) (-30)
2. Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) (D-Rank) (-10)
The truth was, she was never performing any seals.
making a large sort of U shape connected to her body, but with far sinister and empty implications as her hands deftly came together to mock some seals.
In fact, it may have all been a lie. Why would anybody even try allow a ninjutsu user - largely specializing in from afar, allow them to perform any techniques? Sure, she could seal fast and that was good in itself - but largely that was the very last thing you wanted to do. Get caught by them. However, that was not her intention. As she ran through seals - there was nothing to note, because they were simply mock seals. She wasn't even utilizing her chakra (aside from her dark brown skin)
As he seemed to want to allow her to perform seals she would humor him with this string and make sure that she always faced him. She held the last handsign as he would close the gap - and in turn moving forward. Keeping in mind, one meter... was three feet. Her steps in combination with her own would close that even furhter. Something that could be crossed in a mere step. But however - this was a dangerous boundary, fighting with the Raikage was going to do that! Either way, she had a plan.
Her arms opened up from the guise it had been on - her hands, both far away from her body already - close to it's full outstretched range that she had been allowed, would open up and she would leap into the man - her right hand essentially aiming to hook around his neck by the elbow, and her left was below that - to serve as protection if he should draw his sword by means of closing the original gap, her intention was that if he would try to draw - her left hand in it's cup shape would catch the older man's tricep before it could extend the forearm, preventing the move from even happening and no draw ever being made.
with her hands further away from her body, making a large sort of U shape connected to her body
If that connected, things would be in a dire situation. Maybe for her, or him? The Raikage would be able to do very little.... or would he? But she wouldn't be able to do anything either....
The only thought the boy had time for. Seems Issho would be almost entirely unbothered by the swarming beetles eating away at his chakra. Something Seishin had very rarely seen. Most of the time people scrambled to the floor. Other times they sprinted in the other direction. Issho must have had a considerable amount of chakra to spare.
The high speed blow to the Chuunin's ribs knocked the wind from him. He was sent flying through the air towards his comrade, and would collide with her. Both would skid across the ground, displaced by the force. Seishin would struggle to his feet, using Makoto's body to support her weight. His insects would swarm back to their owner, surrounding both him and Makoto as the boy prepared for the Raikage and his jounin to continue their assault. Looking to his teammate, Seishin would take note in the change of skin color. That was a Doton technique. Sei had once killed a man who used it in a similar fashion. It was fairly hard to execute, seems like she might have some talent.
"....... I guess they want us to fight together..."
It was obvious really. They had been herded together for this very purpose. There is no way two enemies would allow their enemies to regroup. The Raikage was trying to test their teamwork.

LIGHTNING MAKES NO SOUND UNTIL IT STRIKES
Maduke paused his actions halfway through as his peripheral vision looked over Makato's shoulder. The glow of chakra on his hilt would subside as the man pushed upwards as first intended, however this time he didn't initiate another assault, instead he proceed to flip backwards retreating from the position. 1...2...3...turns of his body would bring him five meters back from Makato, the irregularity of his actions likely confusing to her. However, he was aware of what she wasn't. Too focused on her immediate threat, she would fail to notice the speeding body of Seishin before it crashed into her darkened exterior.
A drawing breathe of air would enter the plateau for a moment as the action stopped temporarily. A swarm of Seishin's bugs gathered around the two students, their faces masked but their position not. The Raikage and Issho were now situated on either side of the two, each approximately five meters from the duo in the center. Tilting his up to look over the swarm, an innocent child-like expression entered the Raikage's face. "Nice one Issho!" he proclaimed, "although you've still got a few of those Kikaichū on you..."
Looking up and across to the Raikage, the normally serious Issho thrust two thumbs up. "Got it covered boss," he said with a smile. Were these two really enjoying this that much? It didn't seem appropriate for men of their standing. But these students would learn soon enough, both were not typical men, nor was their sense of humor.
"Alright kids, get ready..." The Raikage boomed from position. His long slender fingers began to weave seals effortlessly as ration chakra crackled across his forearms1. Waving his arm through the air a bow of lightning materialized in his right hand as his left waved forth a lightning arrow that remained tensioned by a string of chakra. He aimed directly for the duo, his form ready to release an arrow within an instant.
As the Raikage formed his seals a hue of green chakra2 would begin to encompass Issho. Much like Makato his skin darkened, but veins rose across his skin like streams from a spring as a flood of energy enveloped his being. The bugs that remained on his exterior fluttered back to their owner in panic as his exterior gleamed a foreign chakra. The Blue Beast began to close the distance by walking towards Seishin and Makato.
The two instructors had amp'd up their offense ready for a final assault. They had fought in battle together more times then they cared to mention, and their movements and team work reflected this. If Makato and Seishin wished to avoid harm they would have to formulate a plan and work together, and do it quick!
