Kumogakure's Medical Center

[Maduke Takatora]

K U M O G A K U R E ' S M E D I C A L C E N T E R

The Kumogakure Medical Center is one of thee largest and newest structures within Kumogakure no Sato. Kumogakure’s Medical Center lays host to a hospital, a morgue & research lab, and finally a medical training center for aspiring medics. The interior of the Medical Center is state of the art, with calming white and beige coloring, and natural lighting. The exterior is like most other Kumogakure buildings, made from the strongest steel and glass the region has to offer. Like many of the buildings within Kumogakure, the floors of the Medical Center are connected via a number of electric-powered elevators.

FLOOR ONE:

[/b]The entrance and lobby section of this floor serves as the administrative front of house for the center. The rest of the floor is dedicated to a purpose-built Accident & Emergency  facilities with a host of operating theaters.

FLOOR TWO:

[/b]This floor is a dedicated ward for recovering and injured patients. The rooms have massive windows having visible access to the outside and suites will have a bed, a shared bathroom, two guest chairs and a night stand. Patients have access to other features upon request.[/span][/div][/ul]

FLOOR THREE:

[/b]he medical center is also known for its ability to accommodate would be med-nin on its third floor. Often visited by Academy Students and Genin, the program is held by the Kumogakure Ninja Academy every weekday, and special night classes for Chuunin and Jounin still curious about medical ninjutsu. With a handful of classrooms as well as a mock ER room, the program has yielded incredible results for those interested.[/span][/div][/ul][/font]

achoo Someone must have been talking about me, somewhere; As I could just feel it. My body was finally starting to feel better too. I thought I'd get out of this gods--forsaken hospital before my death. The blanket felt cold within my fingers like that of ice. The room's temperature was like that of a meat locker. I swore I saw a white wisp of breath come from my mouth just a second ago.


Yo I called out my nurse. Her name was Amane. It was the type of name that made me want to just give up on life. She was so hopelessly ugly in the face. It was like someone decided to sleep with a barracuda, while being a human sized elephant, and it only showed up in the face. Fuck It was insanely hard to get use to looking at that. Gramps better get here soon, if not, I'm gonna be using all my chakra on some ugly bitch begone no jutsu.

" Honorable Shounen, it's time to take your temperature. "

No, you can not take my temperature again I wanted to say. Bitch, what is wrong with you. You took my temperature earlier in the day But, that isn't exactly --the nice-- thing to do in these situations. I swear Gramps better get here quick or I'm about to lose my mind. Wait! I never noticed them titties. She a butterface, but that complexion, those tits, them thighs, and those hips.

LIGHTNING MAKES NO SOUND UNTIL IT STRIKES

Maduke despised the sterile corridors of the hospital with its clean white walls and blue luminous lights. This place always seemed to remind him of the many ailments that age brought and of course his impending death. The last time he had walked through these corridors was on a tour of the new hospital after he cut the ribbon, opening the new state-of-the-art facility. However today's visit wasn't business, it was a social call. His beloved grandson was overdue for a visit from his Gramps.

Walking down the main hallway of the second floor his figure was disguised by his long silver robe. Bone white hair curled out the sides of his hood as his eyes remained hidden beneath the reflection of his spectacles. Today had been a tedious one and he was in no mood to make idle chat with nurses who fawned over the presence of the Raikage at their workplace. This was why he thought it best to bring Seishin with him, who had an implicit knack for making others avoid her. Maduke stopped at room #48 with Seishin at his side, knocking as a mere courtesy before entering. There was no room in this entire village he was exempt from. 

"Josuke.." he spoke spiritedly. "I hope you are not giving that poor nurse too much grief" quipping with his signature Dad humour. Raising both hand to his head he pushed back his hood revealing his identity and long white hair in the process. The nurse turned her attention to Maduke, frazzled and alert, she quickly bowed in his presence and moved off to the side. 

"I'm afraid his father was the same, us Takatora don't bode well in the infirmary.." he spoke with a smile towards the nurse, exuding his typical charm in an effort to put her at ease.

iNFESTATION OF THE STORM.

He never liked coming here. Once , for half a year, Sei called this place home. Constantly under surveillance, and trusted by no one, he was rarely allowed to leave his room. The sickeningly white walls of this hospital were his entire world back then, and ever since his departure, he was reluctant to ever return. But he had a job to do, so he put on the disguise he always maintained within these walls. A sundress, with the prettiest flower he could find tethered in his hair.

Seishin was surprised when the raikage offered him the garb. No one truly knew his sex, as many sought to avoid him at every step and turn. Doctors feared to examine him for fear of facing his wrath, and the chuunin's usual apparel completely hid his girlish curves. As far as the chuunin was concerned, he wasn't a woman, he was a weapon. Weapons had no gender.

Some of the orderlies still seemed to recognize him, even in his current guise. He could tell by their reluctance to meet his gaze. They remembered holding him down while doctors tried to examine him. They injected him with sedatives that never seemed to take. They deserved the looks of scorn he SHOULD have been giving them. Yet he was being the bigger person, and they were scuttling away in shame. The Raikage had a need for him today, besides scaring people away.

Finally turnign into the room, Seishin would remain quiet as the Raikage startled the poor nurse. Sei began to compare their bodies with a quick look. Seishin may have been prettier in the face, but his breast were smaller. She was a stacked bimbo, while Sei was more like a small porcelain doll. He scoffed at the thought, and waited for the Raikage to instruct him.

Once again, Ojiisan was being himself which was a disgusting thought as to how many women he beds off of this. Typical Ojiisan. I would joke, that - that's the reason why Obaasan hated him, but that would be super disrespectful for a subordinate to say to their leader. So I just disregarded it; as per the usual.

That was when I saw that dickhead Seishin come into the room. We've met on a couple of occassions, but not formally. Every single occasion was terrible and they said the most terrible of stuff. My jaw almost dropped to the floor, as I leaned over my bed.

He's a guy.. right!? In a sun-dress. That's...That's...That's. [DokiDoki] -- The fuck was that -- I thought. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest. It even burned for a moment. It had to be just enough electrical shock to the heart.

Seishin caught my attention for far too long, and so I quickly changed glances to my old man. ( They said I would be discharged soon, it's taken this long, just to get those papers ) It was about time that I got to leave. I was withering away in this soulless place. The white walls disturbed me in how simultaneously the walls could be clean and so dirty with bloody memories at the same time.

We of the Takatora clan -- don't do very well in these kinds of places. Ojiisan lost a great many people here. My ambitions were not truly realized or even within my grasps yet, so of course I couldn't die yet. I reflexively tightened and then loosened my fists. I will become Raijin - Raikage, and rule this village with my politics.

To live and exist, someone else must perish and die. It is the way of the world. And if you're mad enough to believe you can change it like me. You'll have to kill someone to fix it, and there comes the problem for my heroic crusade. I must become evil to extinguish it; that dark will, or else....

I thought long and hard, looking away from Ojiisan and out the window for what seemed like hours. I would absorb all that he could say, but the deepness of my thoughts would have to be noticeable. I was too far gone in my notions. His dad joke thankfully avoided in total, because I was just now realizing how things were;  I'm a weakling right now, thanks to my electrical ailment.

If you wanted to know the ailment works like this. I generate too much electrical chakra, simply explained right? However, This messes with the electrical signals in my body. Not enough to shut some major things off all at once, but given just enough time -- and leaving it unchecked, it could very well kill me. As a shinobi of the raiton nature it was an ironic thing, really. Lightning is my style of power, but also my greatest weakness.

That's funny isn't it.

LIGHTNING MAKES NO SOUND UNTIL IT STRIKES

It only took a few short quips from the Raikage to get the giggles he required from the nurse. Initially beaten and bleary from a long shift she would leave the room rosy-cheeked with a smile on her dial after a quick word from him. It was just how he liked to do things around his village. However as she left the room he turned to Josuke who lay in a basic ward bed with a single sheet over his lithe frame. Upon seeing this sight he couldn't help but feel the rush of boiling blood.

The Takatora were a family widely regarded throughout Kaminari no Kuni and the world for their prodigious use of the raiton element. To see his only grandson broken by the element that gave his family (and village) so much pride over the years tore at his aged heart. Between having a full calendar of events, endless paperwork, and commanding the ninja of his village, he left a portion of his time to correct this ailment; and he wouldn't stop until things had been corrected. 

"Discharge, you reckon?" he voiced in reply to Josuke. He noticed his grandsons reaction to Seishins attire which brought a rye smile to his face. Was he aware of Seishin's true sex? He thought not in that moment. Like many who came across Seishin in the village they assumed her to be a male. But Maduke knew differently and a simple secret like that brought him endless amounts of amusement. "Josuke have you met your new teammate yet, Kousaino Seishin?" 

Maduke hadn't brought the young chuunin here to parade her around in a sundress for his amusement, nor to simply introduce her to his grandson. No, she had a skillset which he greatly admired, a skillset which he hoped would help his grandsons condition.

"Seishin possesses some unique breeds of Kikaichū which I hope can have an effect on your ailment..."

He said before his tone dropped. "So no resistance or complaining, alright?" he knew how difficult his grandson could be sometimes.

iNFESTATION OF THE STORM.

Befitting his apparel. Seishin did a curtsy at the mention of his name. The mild joke would play over well with the raikage. Jokes like these were his thing. Seishin had heard about Josuke long before meeting him. Who hadn't heard about the Grandson of the raikage, cursed with his own greatness, burdened by his own power? It was a bitter irony, that it was his own potent chakra, a trait that many Shinobi usually trained their whole lives to attain, was the very thing killing him.

The chuunin sauntered over to her patient, leaned down, and checked his eyes. Nerve damage was reflective in the eyes. Yet Josuke seemed, at the very least, free of that ailment. Standing upright, he would walk over to the window that had previously occupied Josuke's attention, fully open it. They came in a trickle at first, the beady black insects Seishin had brought with him. The insect staff did not appreciate coming down with a infestation every time Seishin walked in the door, and Seishin did not particularly fancy the research staff trying to catch and examine one of his precious partners.

When the insects fluttered into the room, they immediately began land, crawl, and skitter across Josuke's skin. No more than a hundred or so, the insects would immediately begin feasting anxiously. Normal Kikaichuu would have died immediately after tasting chakra as potent at the Raikage's grandson's, but Seishin's breed were a rare exception, just like the Raikage himself had said. Without giving away too much in terms of their function, these particular breeds of Kikaichuu LOVED raiton chakra, and the intense amount within Josuke hardly effected them in the slightest.

As they ate and drained away the spiritual lightning that was harming the boy, Seishin stepped forward, and whipped through a long, complex chain of hand seals, before placing his pale hands on the Josuke's chest. A pulse of chakra accompanying the touch.

".... Minor nerve damage... Scarred muscle tissue... damage to the lungs, akin to something you would see in a victim of an electric chair... or over intensive shock therapy..."

Completing the diagnosis, and moving his hands, Seishin's mind retreated to his extensive medical knowledge. The nerve damage should be fixed first. The Kikaichuu were siphoning away the deadly chakra afflicting the boy for the time being, but until his symptoms can be fixed permanently, mitigating damage of the nerves could greatly prolong his life. How had the other medics missed this? They were more than likely thrown off by the electromagnetic waves bursting from the boy. They could have never gotten this detailed an analysis with any common medical tools.

"The bugs will deal with the overload of chakra..... I have to fix the nerves and lungs."

Saying nothing further, Seishin pushed the boy into a laying position with the his index finger. Right after, Sei would climb atop his patient, and slide a hand beneath the medical garb Josuke wore. The other hand would reach around and gentle cradle the neck, and a glow would begin to emeit from each palm.

The boy should be feeling some relief now. The burnt out nerves Seishin identified would slowly begin to mend, and the burns on his lungs should be fading, and easing.

Shousen Jutsu is one of the most fundamental yet vital Medical Ninjutsu techniques utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands, creating a special chakra designed to speed up the body's natural healing process exponentially. The chakra is represented by a faint glow around each of the user's hands, a perfect circle formed around the appendage, with the glow itself letting off a faint, blue hue.

Note: This technique is capable of healing a small or moderate amount quickly, such as a single injured appendage, (in the time of one post) after damage has been received. However, larger scales of damage require more extensive periods of time (for a maximum of three posts). The level of “damage” sustained should be judged to the best of your capabilities, and if needed, confirmed by a Moderator.

It should also be noted that the healing effect of this technique can only be facilitated through the hands.

Horisageru no Karada (To Delve Into the Body)

A highly precise Medical ninjutsu, the user channels chakra into their hands and then places them both on the patient's solar plexus. The chakra pulses through the body in several waves, taking all important information about the condition of the body and relaying it to the user. In this way a Medical ninja is capable of instantly understanding what is wrong with the body, although not necessarily what is needed to fix the problem.

Kikaichuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilized by the Aburame clan. At birth, the user is serves to host as a nest for the Kikaichuu. In exchange for allowing them to feed off their chakra, the bugs will do the bidding of the user. These insects are capable of seeking out the chakra of the opponent, draining it (Mid per turn), and giving it to the user (Half of amount drained), increasing their own reserve.

Note: By default, members of the Aburame clan begin every battle with 2,000 bugs.

( Yes, Ojiisan, You don't remember when you were so busy, and even came here with the shinobi roster documents ) I laughed after my reply. He really did that, but it was also a white lie to imply I read them at all. After that I saw Seishin move towards the window. He...uhh She...ugh, fuck it, Seishin opened the window. A slight brisk breeze rolled into the room.

It made my body twitch. There was something with friction or something. I never listened to my doctors, as they droned on and on about my condition. That is not to say that I'm a simpleton, but when people don't give you straight forward answers, be wary of their intentions. It was starting to get a little breezy in the room, but right before I could ask for the window to be shut. I felt a tiny jolt inside of my heart again.

This time it really seemed to be an electric shock to my heart. I was about to lay down on my back -- when a swarm of darkness had entered my room. It was like seeing a sea of ink fly towards you. The cold feeling started to set in when they started to land on me. Yes, I said when they landed. It was a swarm of insects. I was so mad and angry, but so indifferent to the whole thing all that came out of my mouth was. ( Ahh, well, fuck. )

Each word more defeated than the last one. I continued to sit up, as my uncles words seemed to be reoccurring to me. He had said something about a special blend of insects that he...she..it, I'm using it moving onward. It was beautiful close up, as Seishin looked closely into my eyes, I also got a decent look at them. That cut underneath their left eye.

It looked painful. I wanted to cup their face into my hand, so I could get a closer look at it. I awkwardly tried to lift my hand, but I was pushed onto my back by Seishin. ( Oi, what happens n-.... ) No, the blankness, it's coming, and I can't fight the convulsions.

Josuke went into a powerful electrical discharge seizure. His body spasm-ed, and as he moved around uncontrollably. The lightning chakra began to discharge in an electrical net. Sparks and bolts shorted outside of the body. Josuke had to deal with these attacks multiple times a month. The staff were never really able to perform many surgeries, or help in any major way thanks to the fear of the discharges.

Thanks to the specialized insects eating away at the lightning, it dampened the harmful effects to a point, but sparks still began to push from Josuke's body. His mind completely blanked like in that of a deep slumber. His tongue in danger of being swallowed.

LIGHTNING MAKES NO SOUND UNTIL IT STRIKES

The smile on his face lingered when Seishin dipped in her dress, the whiskers on his chin and lip furrowing over curled skin. As the chuunin medic began to examine his grandson, Maduke trotted over to a nearby wooden table and lean't against its edge. A buzzing noise entered his ear as he looked up to a window that Seishin had opened. A light breeze carried in a swarm of dark insects, in their hundreds, their masses scattering across the room as they hovered over the young Takatora. 

It is rare even in my years to see an Aburame with a rare breed of Kikaichū like this... he mused, looking on at the bugs as they started to gather and land on Josuke. 

Maduke could sense the chakra slowly being eaten away from Josuke as his body suddenly erupted with sparks of lightning. Closing his eyes the Raikage turned his head slightly as the seizure took full effect twisting and turning Josuke unnaturally. He had witnessed this sight too many times now. 

Looking back to Seishin there was little expression in her face but she did give an indication of what the problem was, and what needed to be done next; which the Raikage liked, it reminded him of Benaki's orders.

"Thank you Seishin. Do what you can" he spoke evenly with a smile before leaning back on the desk once more.

Patiently he waited for the healing to progress as mind wandering to another engagement.

iNFESTATION OF THE STORM.

It was hoped that the parasitic insects, feasting away at Josuke's chakra would be enough to suppress the expected spasms. A fruitless hope apparently. The boy twisting and contorting underneath Sei did not alarm him. The boy was in no direct danger with the chuunin atop him. The ecstatic shots of lightning discharging from the boy beneath the medic would be mitigated severely by the insects. The shock of the element would mean nothing to the crawling black beetles, allowing them to continue their job.

Pale thighs clamped down harder on Josuke's sides, restricting his movements.Glowing hands moved from his stomach and neck, now focusing on his temples. A seizure was almost entirely nerve or brained based. Sei was not sure if the fit was brought on by the access of chakra, or if the discharge was just a symptom. Healing waves of energy poured into the boy. Healing the damaged nerves was probably the best bet to ending the fit. Though if it persisted, Seishin would have to shut the boy's body down, to prevent him from swallowing his tongue.

The Raikage's reassurance of his faith in the chuunin only added to the pressure. Though the boy's stoic gaze never faltered. Not even when the jolts of electricity dug into milk skin, leaving red whelps. Not even a wince of pain would be heard. Though a bit of anxiety could be felt in the situation. This was the Raikage's grandson, Sei doubted he would forgive a failure. Failure here meant death. They would just have to wait it out, and hope that the damage to the nerves was the cause of the seizing fit.

Josuke wouldn't be cured after this. Sei truthfully could only mitigate the boy's problem at this point. It would take several months of therapy of this kind before Josuke could be fully recuperated, but for now, if his fit subsided, he would be fit for combat. Wave after wave of healing energy would ease his pain, while the insects drained and ate the excess lightning.

[Josuke Takatora]

The electrical currents were being eaten away at a strong pace. Josuke's unconscious body would thrust his hips upwards upwards, as a tough spasm traveled along his spine causing him to lift himself on the tips of his toes. His body stayed in that position for almost half a minute, before the fit was over and he was brought back down. His consciousness is slowly starting to function at the forefront again.

( My bad, it looks like trying to do a jutsu just with your mind is really hard ) My joke was terrible. I felt awfully weak. My name escapes my mind. Everything is a little hazy, as I tried to get myself up. I think I went to fast as my face bumped into Sei's own. Weird... hitting someone in the head shouldn't feel soft. Wait. My eyes were hard to open at that point.

The joke that I said. What was it again? I don't really remember it really. That was when I could feel it and trust me. It's not fun getting your memories back. The scariness of not knowing who you are and what to do next. Couple that with the sudden realization of who you are, and you have a very dark time. I had to go through that multiple times in a month, with the feeling that I might succumb to one of these. But I know, that I must live on!

( Gramps, how long have you been here ) I made a joke about my time out. It wasn't tasteful, and honestly I felt bad on the inside, but I needed to put up a strong front. I was incredibly shaken, whether I wanted to admit it or not. It took a moment for me to get my situational awareness back. I could feel the bugs sapping away at my chakra. The drainage was strong, but at the same time it wasn't good enough.

I really believed I was strong enough to be discharged. My own weakness has caused me to lose my way. I have to get stronger, so much stronger!
