The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
BIRTH NAME - FULL: Kikirikabukaminoonchō (lit. meaning "Tree Stump From The Grace of God")
He was born the 'miracle child', an only son amidst 12 sisters in a Kaguya family far removed from the Clan Heads. Each of his sisters was given a name pertaining to a different part of the Saishozugaikotsutsurī (First Skull Tree) - a large tree that has survived since the first Kaguya in the ancient times. The boy's father, seeing his infant son's bright red hair, suspected his wife of infidelity with their Uzumaki squad-commander, and likened the boy to 'the stump of our clan's tree after that whore has cut it down'. Kikirikabukaminoonchō is a softening of this initial accusation, his mother's first and last gift.
note: shortly after his birth, the boys hair darkened so much as to be indistinguishable from black. it is unknown exactly why this occurred, though it is thought to have been a biochemical response to sensing the danger of possessing red hair, even as an infant.
GENDER: MALE , HEIGHT: 6'6" , WEIGHT: 264 lbs AGE: 38 , BIRTHDATE: Dockday, Redder 6th, Year 890D-13 'Gashadokuro's Crown'
Within Mizu No Kuni, the days and months are references to their particular lifestyle amongst shinobi. All Hidden Villages have their own unique measurements of the seven day week, and twelve month year constituting their home calendar. Within the Land of Water and the Hidden Mist Village, the days of the week, in order, are Dustday, Blueday, Fishday, Dockday, Chainday, Skullday and Shunday. The months are Lunuary, Soluary, Swiven, Chet, Melluary, Tathis, Sinn, Octuary, Rinden, Arora, Dust, and Redder. The constellations visible on the first of the year (Lunuary 1st) through the Moon's Eye Statue at Krakkys determine the numbered year, a tradition that began with the First Mizukage. Through an ancient connection to the Hidden Eddies Village in the Land of Whirlpools, more than one sky can be seen in the Hidden Mist Village, depending on the shifting stars as viewed from Krakkys. These Seiza-sō (Constellation Layers) change and provide a complex patterned tracking of the passage of full years, as well as providing astrological charts with which to track the endless ships sailing the treacherous seas of the islands. When studied, this practice proved to be the only way to count the years properly in the shifting haze that is Mizu No Kuni's unique landscape.
A part of the cultural heritage of Mizu No Kuni, the name Naitome is given to shinobi thought to have inherited the complex will of the First Mizukage, though many Kirigakure shinobi simply see it as a brand identifying those so reckless in combat that they are to be considered mentally unstable. It is seen as a great honor, despite the harshness associated with acquiring it, simultaneously a prideful acknowledgment of skill and a warning to those who know its history. This name was a curse, declared by the Fifth Mizukage at the age of four upon transporting him from the Land of Whirlpools to the Heavy Gates deep below Kirigakure, taking him as a student alongside his village-born cousin, Tetsuzan Kaguya. Tetsuzan strove for the position of Kage after being passed over for the honor of the Naitome title, and eventually took it, becoming the Sixth Mizukage in a bloody coup. It is only upon Tetsuzan attempting to declare himself the new Naitome that Kikirikabukaminoonchō began searching for his base of operations, and only upon seeing the dead Fifth Mizukage's body that he was willing to engage in direct combat with Tetsuzan, then known as "Lord Jashin".
Kage is a title reserved for the leader of one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries' hidden villages. They are collectively known as the Five Kage (五影, Gokage, Literally meaning: Five Shadows). A Kage oversees the activities of their village, from sending ninja on missions to making the hard decisions regarding the safety of their people. A village's Kage is generally acknowledged as its most powerful ninja.
Sannin is a special term reserved for the three greatest shinobi of their respective villages. As opposed to Kage, who are seen as exceptionally powerful leaders, Sannin are seen as 'great' for a multitude of reasons, not restricted to the mere assessment of their techniques, chakra levels, or ability to command others. Sannin are given free reign to travel the world as they like, and are the only shinobi who do not require permission to leave their home village. They are often given deep cover assignments, requiring prolonged absence, and are rarely seen by others, adding to their mystique. Usually, a village's Sannin each choose their own special student(s), who in turn are more likely to take up the title of Sannin themselves in the future.
NINJA TYPE: Jack of All Trades CLAN(S): Kaguya, Uzumaki , BIRTH COUNTRY: The Land of Whirlpools
The Kaguya Clan (かぐや一族, Kaguya Ichizoku) is a now nearly extinct clan originating from Mizu No Kuni, known for their savage battle tactics and archaic values. As descendants of the original progenitor of Chakra, they maintain a derivative of that being's ability to manipulate their bone structures.
The Uzumaki Clan (うずまき一族, Uzumaki Ichizoku) was a prominent clan in Uzushiogakure. Uzumaki naturally possess incredibly strong life forces, granting them great reserves of chakra and very long lifespans; this also enables them to recover from injuries and exhaustion in short periods of time.
KEKKEI GENKAI: Shikotsumyaku , PROFESSION: ANBU
Amongst the strongest of the Clan, only a select few are able to inherit the Shikotsumyaku kekkei genkai, a diminished mimicry of their ancestor's All-Killing Ash Bones Kekkei Mōra, which allowed them to manipulate their skeletal structure to weaponise bones for battle.
The Anbu (暗部, Literally meaning: Dark Side), short for Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai (暗殺戦術特殊部隊, Literally meaning: Special Assassination and Tactical Squad), are covert operatives dispatched by their Kage.
HALF-SISTER (MATERNAL) - Shindakanikuoburasage (Hanging Dead Fruit Pulp) of the Kaguya
Age 79, Eldest of the original 12 sisters, Shindakanikuoburasage is a pure-blood Kaguya, a bloodthirsty and battle hardened warrior who makes up for in strength what she lacks in intellect. She and Naitome have a strange relationship, with him preferring to avoid her if he can, and "Shinda-chan" - as she demands to be called by everyone - expressing an inappropriate infatuation with her baby brother bordering on the incestuous. Four of the twelve Kaguya Dāsu no Shimai (Kaguya Dozen Sisters) were killed by Shindakanikuoburasage alone.
HALF-SISTER (MATERNAL) - Atsuishinrūtohime (Thick Dead Root Princess) of the Kaguya, and of the Senju
Age 72, Second oldest, and perhaps the closest to Naitome in temperament and personality, Atsuishinrutohime felt the calling of the Temple in the Land of Water, and left home when most of her siblings were still small children in order to devote herself to the 'Path Under Water'. Though not nearly as battle-crazed as her older sister, her overall skill level is considered to be the highest in the family, surpassing Naitome's skill without effort even when bound to the pacifist arts of her spiritual calling. Naitome has a friendly relationship with Atsuishinrutohime, though he, like all other members of the family, is more than a little afraid of her prowess.
HALF-SISTER (MATERNAL) - Karekiringu (Dead Tree Rings) of the Kaguya, and of one of the Cursed Clans of Mizu
Age 56, Third oldest, though only gaining this position after the death of two elder sisters at Shindakanikuoburasage's hand. The infamous "Squid Flower" of the Kaguya Clan, she was injured as a genin and never quite developed into much of a shinobi. A life of hard times and disconnection from her biological family, including Naitome, has led to her current employment in the Red, the brothel dock-district of Kirigakure. Working the less than reputable Thick Shanks building in East Vodyanoi Court, her hard-to-determine age and strange features allow her to survive as the nightly trophy of whatever trash have survived the Hidden Mist slums.
HALF-SISTER (MATERNAL) - Yukuefumeihakarakanashimi (Sadness From Missing Leaves) of the Kaguya, and of the Uchiha
HALF-SISTER (MATERNAL) - Kareedafurue (Dead Branch Shiver) of the Kaguya, and of the Hyuuga
HALF-SISTER (MATERNAL) - Kinohonenochōkoku (Tree Bone Carving) of the Kaguya, and of the Sasanagi
HALF-BROTHERS (PATERNAL) - Kuragariemono (Gloom Prey) and Kareinahoshokusha (Brilliant Predator) of the Uzumaki, and of the Soushi, and of the Hozuki
ADOPTIVE DAUGHTER - Shikago (Unknown Meaning) of the Ōtsutsuki.
THE JUTSU SCROLLS OF NAITOME OF THE KAGUYA. 535 EXP
Akuin: Bunki (Corpsebone Rooting: Branching) Rank: D 10 Type: Supplementary Range: Close (0 ~ 5m) Handseals: --- Chakra Consumption: x5 Low
A personal technique developed by the Seventh Mizukage, it utilizes the Kaguya Clan kekkei genkai. Extending knowledge of the Akuin (Corpsebone Rooting) technique, the user creates talon-like protrusions of bone from their feet, weaponized for combat as opposed to simply rooting oneself into the ground. Utilized in conjunction with simple melee attacks, the user causes their extended bones to take root in an opponent's flesh instead of into a normal surface, and can imbed bone within skin and muscle, leave bloody wounds, and pierce through weak protective coverings.
Note: Bone extensions grow to a total of 12 inches in length, at a speed equivalent to the user's SPEED Stat. Must know Akuin (Corpsebone Rooting). Must be taught by Kikirikabukaminoonchō Kaguya.
Sanjūni Kibakussakudan (Thirty-Two Fang Drilling Bullets) Rank: C 25 Type: Offensive Range: Close (0 ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Handseals: --- Chakra Consumption: x3 Mid
A personal technique developed by the Seventh Mizukage, it utilizes the Kaguya Clan Kekkei Genkai, and is an advanced variation of the Ten Finger Drilling Bullets Technique that sacrifices range for an increased number of projectiles. By first forming the bones of their teeth into sharpened fangs and then opening the jaws wide, the user lets loose a barrage of manipulated teeth projectiles. Though not capable of traveling as far as the traditional Ten Finger Drilling Bullets technique, the 'burst' form and increased number of scatter-shot 'bullets' make dodging incredibly difficult (though higher ranked defensive techniques can easily deflect the projectiles).
Note: New teeth grow to replace the fired off projectiles over the course of a turn, meaning that the user requires a full turn between each 'barrage' that is fired. These projectiles move incredibly fast, and though not overtly powerful on their own, the large number of tiny fang bullets spread out in a scattered pattern, in nearly every direction except for back towards the user's body, leaving any target riddled with holes. Must know Teshi Sendan (Ten Finger Drilling Bullets). Must be taught by Kikirikabukaminoonchō Kaguya.
Zetsumyōnashitai (Exquisite Corpse) Rank: B 50 Type: Supplementary Range: Close (0 ~ 5m) Handseals: 1 Chakra Consumption: x4 Mid, x2 High (Optional)
A personal technique developed by the Seventh Mizukage, it utilizes the Kaguya Clan Kekkei Genkai. Akin to a substitution technique in terms of preparation and execution, the user performs a single handseal and switches places with a partial copy of their own skeleton, that is produced through their manipulation of their own bone structure beforehand. When used, it is most effective as a decoy, to make it seem as if the user has been all but destroyed by an enemy technique. Upon successfully switching with the skeletal copy, the user is free to continue battle, or take cover as they see fit. By default, the skeletal copy is mostly fragmented torso and a few limbs; by paying a x2 HIGH cost, the user can form a full skeleton that mimics their own perfectly. Residual chakra from the user coats the quickly conjured bone, allowing them to briefly fool chakra-sensing/dojutsu techniques (though a half-turn of study is enough to make the differences between the user and the copy clear to those who possess such sensory skill).
Note: The stress involved in forming such a large scale creation in the near-instantaneous time frame it takes to produce means that this technique can only be used once per thread. Must be prepared the turn before (i.e. cannot be prepped and used in the same turn). Unlike a typical Kawirimi, the copy is pulled from the user's bone structure rapidly so that it cannot be detected until after it has already formed, though it must be created in front of the user, within the (5) meter range via the user's chakra. While this technique is being prepared, no other Kaguya Clan techniques can be used. Must be taught by Kikirikabukaminoonchō Kaguya.
Ningensatsugaikoppun (Human Killing Bone Powder) Rank: A 150 Type: Offensive Range: Close (0 ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Handseals: --- Chakra Consumption: x3 High, Massive (Optional)
A personal technique developed by the Seventh Mizukage, it utilizes the Kaguya Clan kekkei genkai. The user causes the bone inside their own body to fragment, exploding with great force into a cloud of bone powder. The area made to explode in this fashion must still be attached to and inside of (i.e. not protruded/extended for some technique) the users body in order to be properly saturated with the users violent chakra. This bone powder, though granulated, is incredibly coarse, and retains the internal strength of the Kaguya's dense bone structures, making it a deadly hard-as-steel mist. It is incredibly deadly if inhaled or if it makes contact with an opponents skin, as it slips inside rather easily due to its tiny size. Though the initial explosion destroys the limb (and thus causes the user pain/damage/loss of the limb, etc), the Kaguya Clan kekkei genkai naturally allows them to grow the bone structure of the appendage back (by paying a MASSIVE).
Note: An area as small as a finger or as large as a leg/arm can be made to become the bone powder in this fashion. When used, chakra spreads the powder out to a cover a distance of one (1) meter when used on a small area, three (3) meters when used on a medium sized area, and ten (10) meters on a large area. As the bone powder is the users own body and chakra, they are completely immune to its presence. The area explodes with the approximate force of an exploding tag. The bone powder spreads out, but cannot otherwise be manipulated by the user. Must be taught by Kikirikabukaminoonchō Kaguya.
Shindehonehoīrugureame (Dead Bone Wheel Glare Eye) Rank: S 300 Type: Supplementary Range: Close (0 ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Handseals: 1 Chakra Consumption: x2 Massive, High (Sustain), Massive (Optional), High (Optional)
A personal technique developed by the Seventh Mizukage, it is possible only through possession of both the Kaguya Clan Kekkei Genkai in tandem with the user's Uzumaki Clan heritage. The user is required to remove one of their own eyes in its entirety, leaving an open hole that small plates of bone are manipulated into to form a tiny permanent skeletal knot (approximately the same size as the original eye), bearing the familiar Uzumaki Clan spiral seal. Over time (and for every day of the users life from this point on), this knot seal is fed small amounts of chakra that continuously prep osteocyte growth within the bone. During combat the user performs the Seal of Confrontation, and an overwhelming large burst of chakra pushed through the knot mass produces osteoblasts that cause the unfolding and rapid spread of the seal, producing enormous developing bone. Due to the positioning of the knot, the technique is easy to confuse for a dojutsu, as the spreading of bone spawns from the users empty eye socket, unwrapping from the spiral seal, and is thus aimed to interact with whatever that eye would normally see (i.e. what it is pointing at). The technique takes two turns to fully manifest, though by paying an additional MASSIVE cost, the user can choose to 'force' the activation of the second stage. Speed of the structures forming is equivalent to the user's SPEED stat.
Stage One - Gaikotsu: The knot seal opens 'partially', and rapidly protrudes multiple one (1) meter wide barbed extensions of bone a maximum of 20 meters in length, spawning out like a spiral from the users empty eye socket. By default, the user creates two (2) of these long barbed structures, though each time an additional HIGH is paid, one (1) additional construct is created. These creations are as strong and as durable as the bone those of the Kaguya kekkei genkai are known for, each capable of lifting (or piercing through) a grown man. Sufficient powerful force can break the structures, though as long as the user continues to pay a HIGH cost, they are capable of generating more. These creations move as fast as the user's SPEED stat.
Stage Two - Gashadokuro: The knot seal 'opens' completely, and bones rapidly expand from the users eye socket to form an enormous humanoid skeleton, comparable in size to tailed beasts and other large summoning creatures. The user is rooted to the skeletal creature, encased in the thick bone ribbing that would normally protect a 'heart', allowing the users movements to be mimicked by their creation. In this form the user's construct is extraordinarily durable, and capable of feats of strength proportionate to its incredible size. Its speed is half the user's SPEED stat, but its brute strength more than makes up for its sluggishness. Its overall power is dependent on the power of its user.
Note: Once this technique is ended, the user is incapable of using other Kaguya Clan techniques for the remainder of the thread and is visibly fatigued, temporarily losing the bone durability bonus normally provided by their Kaguya blood. While utilizing any Stage of the Shindehonehoīrugureame (Dead Bone Wheel Glare Eye), the user cannot use other Kaguya Clan techniques. By default, this technique has a number of charges, provided by the user's perpetually sealed chakra, that determine how many times it can be used. For every fifteen (15) IC Posts the user makes, the user receives one (1) charge (and thus one use) of this ability. It is the users responsibility to keep track of their number of charges. When first learned, the user receives three (3) charges for this technique. The chosen eye socket is damaged by this techniques usage to such a degree that a new eye can never be transplanted. The side-effects of having only one eye, or monocular vision, versus binocular vision are very real, and must be RP'd accordingly. This results in approximately a 25% decrease in the size of the field of view, and a general decrease in visual acuity due to a lack of binocular summation. Monocular people will have an impairment in their orientation (to space) which results from a lack of kinesthetic cues arising from convergence (binocular "eye aiming") and accommodation (focusing). Must be taught by Kikirikabukaminoonchō Kaguya.
Steam Flash Needle Rank: A Type: Primary / Sword / Melee Description:Jōkifurasshuhari. A specialized double-edged sword with a unique shape and a weathered, beaten edge, it is nevertheless quite durable, and capable of tearing through lower ranked materials with relative ease. Its tip is especially reinforced, giving it impressive piercing ability. Within the strange swollen hilt is its wielders blood, which is incited into motion with the addition of the users chakra into this container. The blood subsequently 'boils' from the rapid motion, and has the heat it generates channeled throughout the metal of the blade. It can cause minor burns upon contact with enemies, but its primary purpose is to develop a 'blood-heat haze' that emanates from the metal itself. This aura is colored by its wielder's chakra, producing a visible haze that obscures the blades true position. Cost: 125,000 Ryo
Shabondama-yō Paipu (Bubble-Utilising Pipe) 100 EXP Rank: A Type: Main / Specialty Description: Shabondama-yō Paipu is a golden pipe with a downward bend in the middle and a trumpet-like head. By breathing into the pipe, the user is able to emit a variety of bubbles of varying effects. The weapon has shown to be durable enough to block secondary weapons and withstand continuous clashing with equally ranked primary weapons. Cost: 275,000 Ryo
Soap Bubble Slime Rank: C 25 Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 6 Chakra Consumption: Mid
Utilizing the Water Element, the user will blow half a dozen bubbles after performing the necessary handseals. These bubbles will rush toward an opponent, and when popped, release a sticky slime, delaying and or trapping an opponent for one post.
Note: Water is not necessary beforehand to perform this technique.
Homatsu no Jutsu (Bubbles Technique) Rank : C 25 Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 5 Chakra Consumption: Mid per 12
Homatsu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. After performing the necessary handseals, the user will blow a dozen bubbles (which are no larger than their palm). These bubbles can move to surround their target. Even the slightest amount of physical contact with an object is required to make these bubbles burst, resulting in a small but powerful explosion (1 meter diameter) when they do. Likewise, the user can make them detonate on command with a snap of their fingers.
Note: Water is not necessary beforehand to perform this technique.
Suiton: Hōmatsu no Jutsu - Hyō (Water Release: Bubbles Technique — Drift) Rank: B 50 Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 5 Chakra Consumption: High, Low sustain, low (optional)
Utilizing the Water Element, the user will create a single, particularly large bubble after performing the necessary handseals and jump inside of it. Under their command, the bubble will take the user wherever they wish to go. It’s quite capable of traveling very long and high distances, with no apparent risk of popping. The user can also make the bubble camouflage to hide from anyone who is after them. This bubble can also support up to one additional person.
Note: For a low increment of chakra, the bubble can be camouflaged for undetected flight. Water is not necessary beforehand to perform this technique.
