• Apparel: Typically dressed in a thin blue undershirt, over which he wears an open, long-sleeved black jacket with enough pockets to conceal a good deal of small weapons. Wears long black pants, with one long, thin pocket sewn into each side to store his tonfa. He has a small weapons storage attached to his leg, in case he doesn't have the opportunity to reach for his jacket pockets. He has gloves on most of the time, to protect his hands and hide his injuries. All of his clothing is slightly to moderately oversized. Occasionally dresses far more formally for events he finds important to his destiny, regardless of those events' nature. Either way, he keeps his headband tied around his left arm.
  
• Body Appearance: At first glance, Kazuki is a short, scrawny young man that wouldn't or couldn't harm a fly. While the short part may well be correct, his baggy clothes cover up a quite muscular body, honed through rigorous taijutsu training. His hair perpetually spikes up, to crazier degrees depending on how long it's been since he's groomed it.
  
• Blemishes/Scars: Most of Kazuki's permanent injuries came from his training, which is not to say they are few in number. The lion's share of these are on his hands and forearms, ranging from calluses (repeated striking of solid objects) to long cuts (unsuccessful weapon blocks) to burn marks (striking hot coals for endurance). He typically keeps them covered, but considers them a helpful reminder of where he's been, to keep himself honest about where he's going.
  

COGNITION[/u]

• Personality: The two most notable words to describe Kazuki would be “casual” and “deterministic”, and the former is predominantly due to the latter. He firmly believes that every step he takes, everything he does, no matter how small, is a predetermined move towards a goal the universe has in mind for him. Although he refuses to share with anyone what that goal is, as it would “spoil the surprise”, this leaves him very resistant to frustration when bad times come around. He is hard to aggravate, and because he feels that there is no way to not achieve his goal, he does not fear death. While this doesn't make him reckless, it makes him highly confident in his abilities. He is rarely without a serene smile, and he is always quick to find the humor or irony in a situation, being able to see what he calls “the bigger picture”.

Description: Traditionally made from red oak and wielded in pairs, The tonfa can be gripped by the short perpendicular handle or by the longer main shaft. In defense, if the handle is grasped then the shaft protects the forearm and hand while the knob protects the thumb. If both ends of the shaft are held, the shaft can be used to ward off blows and the handle can be used as a hook to catch the opponent's weapons. One can also swing the shaft to strike the target, as large amounts of momentum can be imparted to the shaft by twirling the tonfa by the handle. Finally, by holding the shaft and the handle of the tonfa together, one can use it for holding or breaking techniques.

Description: A shuriken, like kunai, is one of the more basic weapons employed by ninja of all classes. They are sharpened, four-pronged metal stars, no more than a few inches long, and are extremely useful for throwing. Although small, they can be used to distract, or, if accurate enough, to kill. They have an open circle in the center, used for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also a benefit in aerodynamics, as it ensures more accurate trajectories.

Special: When worn, all leg related Taijutsu is improved by the equivalent weight rank. When removed, a large speed boost is gained, equal to double the user's normal speed, and lasts for as many turns as the user had the weights equipped for. Can only be removed for a boost once per thread.
Description: Though an old fashioned training method, taijutsu specialists use these extremely heavy weights to increase their speed and movement. These weights are usually worn under the warmers on the user's lower legs. When removed, the user gains a great increase in their speed and mobility. The weights are marked with the kanji for "guts".

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)

Range: 0 - 5 meters
Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. When first learned, Kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. Can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining.. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)

Special: Flickering is forward-moving, meaning the user will rush almost instantly to wherever they are facing. The user can flicker once per thread, plus once more each time retrained.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

Description: As its name implies, the user will suddenly enter barre-roll form, gripping their shins and ankles as they tuck them in, forming a human ball. In this form, chakra is unconsciously powering the roll, making their movement just as fast and graceful as if they were running. Useful for evasion, or when needing to look silly.

Kaiten Kakatou Otoshi (Spinning Heel Drop)

Special: If kick connects with head, the victim will most likely be stunned for half turn. Normally the user spins once before descending, but each time retrained, an additional spin is added, which adds more power and thus more stunning capabilities - equal to 1/2 a turn of stun added each time.
Description: A very basic but effective taijutsu attack, the Kaiten involves the user's leg in a reverse downward kick. After launching themselves into the air and begin to somersault, the user gains momentum within the chosen striking limb and come spinning down, laying their heels into the target's shoulders and head.

Hayabusa Otoshi (Peregrine Falcon Drop)

Special: Most effective when used on extremely hard surfaces.
Description: A very deadly and efficient taijutsu attack. While at an elevated position, the user will grab their opponent from behind. Firmly locking themselves to their back, the user will then lock their ankles onto the opponent's neck in order to get their body rigid. Finally, on the descent, the user proceeds to drive and plant the victim head first into the ground. Essentially a belly to back pile-driver, the move can provide a great concussion to his opponent's head.

Description: A combo technique where one follows the opponent, closely matching his or her body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. The technique is usually preceded by a swift upper kick that will launch the target into the air. It is mainly used to position an opponent into a vulnerable aerial position
