PHYSICALITY||

✿Apparel: Never having been one for high fashion, though, thanks to his parent's intervention, his family does have the sort of disposable income to come into possession of such things, Shou prefers to wear things of a more modest nature, at least, modest in his opinion. Shou can rarely ever been seen outside of something along the lines of a simple wife-beater esque white, sleeveless shirt which breathes rather well, whilst offering no real insulation. To make up for the drawbacks of his preferred upperbody clothing, Shou is also commonly seen wearing a white shirt designed to appear like something along the lines of a dress shirt, though it offers more flexibility than your average dress shirt but with more decorations upon it, including the Nara family crest upon the back and three block stripes along the cuffs of the arms. Shou's dress-shirt/overcoat is actually reversible, allowing it's blackish, dark blueish innards to act as the outside of the shirt, in case Shou is in need of a swift change of clothing. To cover up his more sensitive portions, Shou is never seen without a pair of black trousers that reach down to a point just below his ankles, but not to such a length that they hinder his movement in anyway. His footwear can be compared to the traditional shinobi wear of a tabi and a pair of zori.
✿Body Appearance: Shou is a young man of just below average height, he sports a bulk of five feet and five inches however, he does so quite well as his posture is perfect, which is to be expected considering his past. Shou has tanned skin which tells the tale of a young man who spends much of his time outdoors, which is, in fact, the truth. With deep, brown eyes, Shou's gaze always seems to wander slowly and carefully over the area where he finds himself, as if he was constantly searching for something interesting to rest his eyes upon. Shou's body, however, does not truly seem fit for one in his position as an aspiring master of the Shinobi arts. With thin, almost femininely weak arms, a flat, unimpressive stomach and pale skin, Shou is a boy with an upper body that befits a man who never eats quite enough to gain any weight, but never exercised enough to gain any sort of muscular development. This condition, however, is in parallel when it comes to his lower body. With at least average sized, leg muscles for one so young, Shou's lower body tells the tale of a young man who has spent an appropriate amount of time running, jogging, walking and overall, just exercising the muscles that lie within his legs. Though all of his muscular development is from the academy.
✿Hitai-ate: Though he is, in no way, a specialist of Taijutsu, Shou prefers to wear his Hitai-ate around his waist in a fashion reminiscent of a belt. This is simply due to his preference, however, it is not meant to convey anything.
✿Blemishes & Scars: Shou has numerous minor scars all across his body from the times he has failed to grasp the basics of a Taijutsu technique.
COGNITION||
✿Personality: : After having spent a majority of his life within a loving, if strict, household with strong family values and a number of older siblings along with a pair of loving, if a bit overbearing, parents, Shou has turned out exactly as one would expect such a boy to turn out; he has become a relatively well-adjusted, if a bit insecure, teenager with quite the sense of humor.
Jokester- Due to the fact that he was the youngest, and thus, in his own mind, least talented, or at least, least recognized talent, of his family's sons Shou developed both laughter and joking as a defense mechanism for whenever he was feeling even the least bit emotionally unfit. In fact, one can note, during awkward moments in which Shou feels hurt, angry or insecure that most of Shou's humor is on the fly, and based more upon satirical or hurtful comments made about other people and meant to boost his own confidence by bringing others down to, in his mind, though it is a subconscious process, his level. However, this trait of Shou's has also developed into a natural love for jokes and humor, and, more prominently than anything else, an absolute adoration for puns, particularly puns that are fitting for whatever is occurring in real time.
Empathy- Strangely enough, though he is, for the most part, unaware of his own psychological and emotional issues, Shou has developed quite the ability to read into a situation and gauge others reactions, feelings and emotions about or within the situation, a trait that has earned him quite the reputation as a skilled leader, due to his ability to flesh out the problems in teams. Shou's empathy stems from his role as "Observer" within his family's household as opposed to "participator", an event that took place, primarily, because he was the youngest and as such, was present and accounted for during the times his brother's many mistakes that troubled his parents and needed to learn from them. Shou's empathetic nature has made him quite popular among the people he interacts with on a regular basis.
Courageous- Never having been one for giving into fear, though he seems to only possess fear of relatively mundane things, Shou's bravery stems not from the inability to properly gauge the danger of a situation, like so many others, but rather, due to his ability to gauge the danger of a scenario and still decide to act upon it in some of the most impressive fashions. Shou's bravery is actually a trait that he picked up through interactions with his older siblings, who, like many other young men, were big on the idea of "toughening up" their little brother, and as such, encouraged him to both face and conquer his fears, early on in his childhood.
Independent- Though he prefers to work in groups, he frequently makes jokes, he enjoys the company and is open to the help of others and he has a tendency to complain when it comes to doing pretty much anything without at least one tag along, Shou is actually amazingly efficient when he is working alone. Due to a sense of maturity that developed during his childhood as his parents forced chores and small jobs onto him, Shou has developed the ability to depend purely and solely upon himself and knows how to break up large tasks into smaller ones so that he can finish the larger job in a more constructive and thus, more efficient fashion.
Linguist- Though he seems to possess numerous traits that are more commonly found within an introverted person as opposed to a natural extrovert, which is the psychological group he is typically credited to belong to, Shou is indeed an extrovert by nature and it has blessed him with an extensive and rather impressive vocabulary and the ability to utilize it in a noticeably eloquent fashion. A man who loves the art of public speaking, Shou has the habit of playing with word's prefixes and suffixes and thus, creating new and rather unusual words for his own amusement. Shou's skill at speaking has also translated into a talent for writing, and he is hoping to eventually become an author.
