Embarking, the longest journey!

It was finally time.
My feet lightly tapped the mist covered ground as I ran, my gray cloak swaying, alongside my windswept hair. Instead of my normal pigtails I decided to let me golden locks tumble loosely down my face. I was headed to the Land of Iron, where the Chuunin Exams were being held. Only packing the essentials, which for me comprised of Kubikir Tsurugi which was holstered to the middle of my back horizontally, some rations, and my regular shinobi tools.
If I needed anything else Id simply purchase it there. My body felt light, with the absence of Suigai, but very soon I'd have its replacement with me. I wasn't too sure who else from Kirigakure was coming, but we were short on shinobi, but I'd become Chuunin, and show of our might. We may have been low on numbers, but what we lacked in masses we made up for with skill.
I'd show the other villages that fear was the emotion they should turn to feel when facing me in battle. Yes me, Masumi Hozuki, the shinobi who inherited the title of the demon of the hidden Mist. On the battlefield I was ruthless, merciless, and embodied a demon in every right. I was proud of the keepsake I'd earned through my hard work and I'd be sure to demonstrate it at this years exams.
My ramblings and thoughts allowed me to traverse the eerie land of Mizu no Kuni swiftly. I was running as fast as I could, taking short breaks in between resting and hydrating myself. After a few days of travel, I began to take notice of the change in weather, the closer I had gotten to the Land of Iron, the more drastic the change.
I didn't like this land too much, it was cold, and gave my body the shivers, but I'd have to make due for as long as possible. I wasn't apart of any team, so I'd just be working with whoever else from Kirigakure came. If no one came, than I'd burden Kirigakure myself and demonstrate our might. Finally I'd made it to the land of Iron, snow fall drifted to the ivory lands.
"Seems im finally here..."
