This would be her first time traveling to another country and she had a long journey ahead of her to the Land of Iron. Her pack rested on her back and she mentally began to prepare herself for the exams. She had been training hard for them and she hoped that it would work well for her. Her medical jutsu had improved greatly and she knew it would give her an advantage, as she could heal herself when damaged and if she managed to work with other's she would not be useless. Lena, for some reason, had always felt that way. She felt as if she had not achieved anything yet and now was her chance to really prove herself- Lena wanted to make a name out of it and she would fight her hardest to do so or die trying. She would die a brave kunoichi of Kumo(though she hoped it would be far in the future). The horizon that was ahead of her had still been various shades of purple, pink, orange and yellow when the kunoichi had left Kumo, but now it was a brilliant sky blue color, and endless wave of it. White clouds stood puffy and proud in the sky and the sun shone brightly in the early morning hours. She had a long travel ahead of her, but she was sure she would make it in time for the chuunin exams. She only stopped twice during her first day and that was to eat and to use the restroom. She didn't stop until she was utterly exhausted and crashed in one of her tents she had brought. Lena started off early the next day after a quick meal. She had two days left to get there and she was much ahead of schedule. She even stopped in a little town along the way to purchase a bit more food before continuing on. She was over halfway there when she stopped for the night, promising to get an early start the next morning. Lena encountered her first problem when she found some of her rations were missing, having been ate by a few night crawlers, so she had to go back fifteen minutes and purchase more food. She didn't encounter another problem until a few hours later, when she lost her tent in a river, so that night she had to sleep on the cold ground. Lena just thought of it as survival training. She woke up early the next morning, freezing, but after eating and walking she found herself fine. A few hours later she reached the bridge that led her into Tetsu no Kuni and, with a deep sigh, she made her way across it.
