- Body Appearance - Despite being fairly short for her age, Sumiko is never-the-less heavier than most girls her age. Her skin has been tanned. Her hair is naturally a light brown, but recently she began dying it. Currently it is black with blue highlights. Her hair is cut fairly short, falling a few inches below her ears, except for a long bang that frames the left side of her face. On her right cheek, she has a small dimple. In her ears, she wears simple amethyst stud earrings.
- Apparel - Sumiko has two distinct styles of dress depending on whether she is in battle or not. In her daily life, Sumiko dresses much like a normal girl of her age might dress. She wears black jeans and a white shirt, over which she wears a hooded sweatshirt. She has several different ones she wears, but her favorite is a white hoodie with black sleeves. Her shoes resemble low top converse all-stars. Her nail polish is usually purple, and she wears a barrette on the longer part of her hair.
When she dresses for war, her choice of clothing is a bit different. She wears short black pants which fall slightly below her knees, and both of her legs are taped from her knee down. She wears a maroon long-sleeve shirt under a blue tunic with a gold trim, both of which have mesh mixed in with the cloth weave to add protection.. She also wears a dark red sash around her hips. This sash runs from the right hip over the left shoulder and back. On the back of the sash is a holster where Sumiko can hold her sword. Her forehead protector is worn around her right arm. - Blemishes & Scars - Sumiko has a few scars on her midsection. One was received from an injury while on a mission, but the others can easily be recognized as signs of torture. All of these have been largely been covered by using healing jutsu, but can still be seen if one is looking close enough.
COGNITION[/u]
- Personality-
Sumiko is a very reclusive person. Once she actually befriends a person though, she is incredibly loyal, willing to do almost anything for the person. She is a tomboy, and usually is bored when around other girls her age. She holds little value on cleanliness, and doesn't understand most of the etiquette of the modern world. She acts as if from a much less civilized time. She has a bit of an addictive personality, and tends to seek excess of whatever is her current addiction. One such addiction is her smoking habit, which she started at age 11. The Nakamura girl has garnered a reputation as being incredibly lazy; this is not true, she just isn't particularly ambitious, and that has been misread as laziness.
If someone were to meet her for the first time, they would most likely not realize that she is already a veteran ninja that has both seen and done things beyond the realm of most people's experiences. In fact, she seems rather innocent and kind. In her duty as a shinobi she tries to avoid killing at all costs, oftentimes causing herself to get badly injured. But she has always been one who could take a pounding and heal quickly. This is a bit of a misconception though. In order to deal with the atrocities and terror that accompany the shinobi life, her mind has unconsciously segregated that portion of her mind from the rest of her mind. Over time, this has lead to a dissociation of Sumiko's personality. Behind the sweet girl is a sadistic, jaded, twisted girl. To this point, this secondary personality is still relatively weak, and mainly influences Sumiko by talking to her; though under situations of extreme stress, this other personality can take control. - Alignment - LG, or CE for other personality
- Allegiance - Sumiko has two allegiances, her first and foremost allegiance is to Konoha, he land where she grew up and served as a shinobi for several years. After the war, Sumiko was saved by Kumogakure. She has been adopted as a shinobi of Kumo, and serves them loyally.

Once it strikes the user, the tornado tips upward and takes the user up, keeping them imprisoned by the strong currents, and delivering multiple waves of cutting/slicing damage onto their bodies, as well as dropping them hard onto the ground afterward.

Description: Shintenshin no Jutsu is a specialized secret ninjutsu technique originally used for spying, and serves as the base for all Yamanka related capture. The ninja forms the needed handseals and then projects their spirit out of their body into another ninja or an animal. Unfortunately, the spirit flies in a straight line at a slow speeds; if the target moves and avoids the incoming spirit, the ninjas body falls lifeless until the spirit can find its way back to the body several minutes later. Because of the risk involved, the ninja must be very careful. While inhabiting the body of their opponent, the target still remains in their mind but their mental processes are forced aside as the ninja takes control. However if the target has strong mental fortitude, they can overpower the intruder and force them out of their body. Finally, while in the body of their target, if the ninja takes sudden physical damage, their original body will be hurt as well.

Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
