Hirihi would hear the first question come out and would immediately nod to her. "It is for this reason that when it is used on the skin, you move fast and only lightly touch the skin. Because of the nature of the technique, it requires something that healing hands doesn't. You have to put a layer of chakra over your hand to protect the skin, not wanting to burn your own hand in the process." Hirihi said. If anything, she felt a bit bad that she hadn't said that to start with. She was already forming the technique, and she had forgotten the very basic of the technique itself.

"Think of it like this. It helped me to understand it in the academy. Your hand, in this instance, is projecting the heated chakra. What stops heat from going both ways? Insulation. You have to insulated your hand, giving yourself protection from the fiery chakra that your hand is beginning to pulse. Once you have a completed insulation around your hand, you can then fill it with the red chakra. A lot like friction, something you'd see from rubbing your hands together, the red chakra has to generate heat. Not just a little bit of heat, a lot. Sterilization, as well as cauterization, has to come from your touch not in minutes. In seconds. In battle, you only have seconds, right? This technique helps to speed up that process." Hirihi said.

As she thought about other ways to explain it, Hirihi was brought back to her days in the medical wing at Kumogakure hospital. She was with her mentor, learning how to bring fish back to life, the same that most other people learned. "Remember, Hirihi. You are a special little girl. You're being given the privilege to learn things that no other genin in the village are learning. You should take advantage of the opportunity and learn as fast as you can. The more I have time to show you in these next few months, the better equipped you will be when things come to the breaking point in battle."

Refocusing her attention on Blanche as she was focusing the technique, Hirihi thought it best to give her a bit more advice just in case. "You're doing it right so far. Just make sure that your hand is properly insulated against the chakra. You wouldn't want to burn yourself with your own technique." Hirihi said, performing a set of handseals and her eyes opening to the world of chakra with her sensor eyes. She was seeing things from a more clear perspective, and she could watch carefully at her hands to make sure that there was nothing going wrong with her technique.

Oh- So it did seem as if she was doing something wrong right off the bat, but then again, Hirihi hadn’t explained in detail so it was all alright. She was in the early steps anyway and chakra was still pouring to her hand, so there was no loss, really. With a good amount of chakra having been stored there, she would then turn to Hirihi once more, trying to figure out how she was going to let this technique play out. ”So- You need to make a layer for insulation and one for the heat itself, as a sort of protective barrier then?” she would ask as she would go onwards and do just that, forming a sort of layer of chakra over her hands that bore no really special qualities except for providing a good barrier for the technique that would be layered atop it. It would be a shame if she was to turn out with burnt hands, as really, so it would be something she would avoid.

So- with the chakra continuing to pour in her hand, she couldn’t help but feel that something was missing- Or at least, since she had only changed the nature of the chakra itself after Hirihi had told her, it was a bit too late as she had already started to draw chakra to her hands- So, with quite a determined change of plan, she’d rid of the chakra that was collecting in her hand, and would go on to try once more, her hand devoid of any energy for a few moments, before she began to pump it full of chakra again as she had done in the past. Now- it was time to try and recreate what Hrihi had spoken of- An insulator which would surely protect her hand from being burned by the technique.

Looking from Hirihi, who had seemed to utilize another technique, her eyes closed as her hand was closed in a seal, she would but wonder what she was doing- A sensor perhaps? She had run in to a few in the past who had performed a sensory technique in a similar way, but she wasn’t sure. However- Giving Hirihi the little bit of respect that she had, she did treat it as mysterious, but, didn’t do anything about it but instead kept a close eye on her just in case- Many times in the past had things like this backfired, and this girl was nice- She wasn’t hoping for it to happen again. Turning her eyes then back towards her hands, an invisible layer of chakra hopefully forming, she would soon become ready to do the next part of the technique- The creation of the heat layer that the technique was so famed for.

”I’ve done the insulating layer- I’ll try the heat layer now- So, all I need to do is form a burning layer of chakra on top of the insulating layer, is t?”

Of course, Blanche had asked many a question during this session but not because she was stupid, no- It was a dangerous technique when done incorrectly and Blanche fully knew that from simply guessing what destruction it could cause, so she wanted to perform it correctly and not mess up. With the livelihood of her hands at stake- The creator of handseals- she didn’t know what she would do, should she lose them in the middle of her training. Slowly spreading chakra evenly over the layer she had just created, she would wait for her response, the chakra ready to be heated, should she say that he assumption was correct.

Hirihi would use her vision to see that the chakra she was gathering would be quickly dissipated to change what she was doing with the chakra. Hirihi would take note of the thin layer of insulating chakra that she would now be forming and would find that it was just as thick as it needed to be. "That's a good layer of chakra to insulate your hand. Just so you know, by the way, I only performed those handseals so that I could monitor your chakra. I don't intend to attack you. I'd lose in the attempt." She said, laughing a bit as she refocuses on the task at hand.

"Okay, just do it slow and if you feel any kind of heat touching your hand, stop and put your hand into the snow. I don't need you losing your hands." Hirihi said. It was a precautionary warning, but she felt it was one that was best to be said. From what she could see, she was doing it just right. She was almost a pro at doing it, and this was the first time that Hirihi had seen her perform the technique. It made her think of herself, to be honest. She was a faster learner, and she had picked up a lot of things rather quickly.

Watching as she would steadily begin to develop a steady level of chakra around her hand, Hirihi would be slightly amazed at the skill at which she was performing. She said she was a master medic, and maybe she was beyond that. It was hard to tell, but, Hirihi was almost a little jealous. How was it fair that she should learn a technique that took Hirihi longer in less than twenty minutes? It was an unjust world, it would seem. At least she wouldn't have to spend a long time trying to teach it to her. They could move on to something that was a bit more her level, if she even had something that could match that.

"You're doing fine. Just keep that insulation layer beneath the fiery chakra there and you can use the chakra as you like. Just like I said, only a second is all you need to apply it to the skin to cauterize a wound. Any longer and you will cause massive burns. If more than a second can do that, imagine what ten seconds could do to an enemy." Hirihi said, giving ideas to her about the other uses that the technique might have. Opening her eyes after releasing the sensor lens, she looked at the technique from a real world perspective, and it was just as it should be. Perfectly formed and smoldering, steaming in the cool wind above.

Her guess as to if the girl was a sensor or not seemed to prove correct as she said that she had a good layer of chakra covering her hands- So, a sensor and a medical specialist? Sensory techniques had always seemed to interest her but as far as hunt and destroy went with ANBU and Hunter nin, she preferred the destroy part due to her nature. But- It was interesting to see such people who had an ability like that- It was quite unique, really. Looking at her hands she would keep fuelling it with chakra as she’d try to create the other layer which would be responsible for making the searing heat that the technique called for. She had never really seen this technique been used back in Kusagakure or anywhere to say the very least, so it was appealing to see such techniques formed by others, and to be taught them in turn.

But now was the most crucial part to the technique- Just how was she going to do this? Looking at her hands carefully she would study as hopefully the chakra requested from this technique had spread over quite evenly- Thinking back to what Hirihi had to say they had to make a bright red glow which symbolized the heat that was being created- As of now, nothing much was happening. ”…….” and yet with complete concentration on the technique that she was performing, she would soon hope to change this, wishing for her hands to be coated with a red glow as quickly as possible to get this technique on her arsenal of medical ones that she already knew. But despite this- She had many more techniques to learn before her knowledge of medical techiques would be full- But she was still a goddess as far as that style was concerned.

In her mind, anyway.

Keeping her attention on her hands, whilst also taking notice of the words that Hirihi spoke about the technique, her eyes would soon be blessed as the chakra concerned in the top layer of her hands would soon begin to glow with a soft red. It wasn’t entirely noticeable at the start but as moments went on it soon became more prominent. Her hand, however, felt no temperature change, symbolizing that the barrier that she had created blocked out all heat that was made from the technique itself from preventing her from burning herself. But- This soft glow.. it wasn’t the complete technique as of yet. Looking over at her hands again as they glowed with quite a decent shade of red, she was quite happy with the progress that she seemed to be making.

And then- It wasn’t long until she would find that the glow of her hands, rife with heat chakra, would soon seem to erupt with power in the same manner that she used her healing hands technique, the red glow growing to such an intense shade that it was quite hard to look at it for the first few moments before the glow died back down to a shade similar to the one Hirihi herself had been using. Noticing this change, she would then duck down quite swiftly and place her hand against the snow as Hirihi had done, the snow melting quite quickly at foot beneath her hand. Within the snow she would then not write kanji but would instead simply draw the symbol of her village within it. ”Of course. With no doubt it would severely harm the opponent- I guess this is another good point about the technique should you want to use it in battle- I guess it’s similar to the dead hands technique in that way, that it can be used both for medical reasons and for fighting purposes.” It was quite interesting really to see how hot it had become, and with Hirihi’s warnings, she would but grin inwardly (Not really one to grin in public) and would nod her head as she’d look towards the pink haired girl for any feedback as she kept her hands outstretched away from Hirihi and herself, to prevent burning either of them.

With quite some grace would the woman then seem to sidestep away from the pink-haired shinobi; "Aha; I do apologise Hirihi. The time has come for me to leave but; I might be back." she would tell her in a tone that did make it obvious that she wanted to stay and learn more but- She had other things to do which she'd have to get up and do pretty soon else the chance would be lost. "Thank you for allowng me to learn your techniques." after this would be said, she would then make her leave, dissapearing in to the snow.
