The 18th cycle...
For the longest time, Chaos had held the battlefield, winning the first twelve cycles without fail. That all changed though when a gambit started in Cycle 012 resulted in a victory for Cosmos in 013. Chaos's streak had been broken, and Cosmos had her first real win. As a result, her heroes were revived, their deaths reversed. However, despite the efforts of her chosen, Chaos managed to endure, and as a result, the cycle continued onward. This was only the beginning.
At first, Chaos had written the thirteenth cycle off as a fluke, only remembering the outcome of the cycle due to a messenger from Cosmos. But then, Cosmos won the fourteenth cycle, and the fifteenth, then the sixteenth, and even the seventeenth.
The Goddess of Harmony was on a roll, ladies and gentlemen.
This however, brings us to the eighteenth cycle. The warriors from both sides are beginning to awaken from their slumber. Cosmos is treating this like business as usual. Chaos however, is taking it differently. Where he once met even the total annihilation of one of his chosen with bored apathy, now, he meets even the slightest disadvantage with an outburst of fury.
Chaos is at the end of the line. The Warriors of Cosmos, while initially unaware of Chaos's fury, those chosen by him on the other hand, are well aware of the God of Discord's degrading mental state. Some fear him, some wish to bring him to his senses, believing that a win will put Chaos back on track. Some however, simply do not care. Some however, hold one other fear...
The end of the world's coming, and when it arrives, none will be able to predict the ultimate outcome.
Dissidia Desperado is a Dissidia: Final Fantasy roleplay. Taking place during the 18th cycle, the plot is a member oriented one. members are free to detail the cycle as they wish throughout their threads. Some threads may even get added to the Synopsis page, becoming a major part of the plot. With a large canon list and an open plot, Dissidia Desperado is a very welcoming RP.
