Special: Creates a mirage like effect across and around the Katana's blade, which makes it appear as if the sword is slithering or vibrating, similar to the phenomonon caused by looking down a long road in the summer, making it harder to judge where the razor sharp blade is. The effect gets stronger every time it is retrained.
Description: By channeling their pure chakra through the blade, a samurai is able to create a strange veil around the length of their blade. This veil gives off the illusion that the blade is writhing, squirming, and shifting, making it hard to judge the exact angle and distance from which the sword is coming. The base effect is barely noticable, merely looking like the blade is flicking to the side by only a few inches every few seconds. However at the highest rank the illusion given off is that of the blade violently whipping around, the entire blade becoming a blur of motion that is nearly sickening to look at.

Special: Creates an Arch of Chakra that pours from the backside of the blade when it is swung. If the swing hits the opponent, the chakra arch will pin the opponent to the ground or a piece of nearby scenery until the chakra disperses. The higher the level the longer the opponent will be pinned to the spot where he was struck. At C Rank the chakra lasts half a turn, a turn at B Rank, and 2 Turns at A Rank.
Description: Whilst swinging his sword, a Samurai may pour his chakra into the blade of his Katana. The result of this procedure is a shimering arch of chakra that follows the swing of the Katana. Upon making contact with an opponent the chakra arch solidifies, impaling the part of the enemy that was hit to the ground or his surroundings. The Chakra then causes a temporary paralysis until the chakra disperses. At the lowest rank the Chakra "nails" the opponent for five seconds, but upon further training, one can increase that time to fifteen seconds, leaving more then enough time to get in a second attack of the Samura's choice.

Adorning the upper part of Matsu's body is a light, silk kimono. The body of the kimono is a dark black while the cuffs of the sleeves are a midnight blue. The image of a pale crescent moon and the Kanji for Tsuki are sewn on the back of the kimono. Gracing the youth's lower torso and legs is a matching, black hakama. The hems of the hakama also are marked with the same midnight blue as the cuffs of Matsu's kimono. Upon his feet are a pair white tabi, followed by a pair of cherry wood sandals. - Body Appearance:
Standing at an even six foot Matsu is slightly above average in the height department; meanwhile his weight is kept at an average size for his age. Despite weighing in at a hundred and seventy pounds Matsu is actually quite slender, all of his weight coming from the lean muscle gained by years of speed and endurance training. Somehow despite many years of training in the sun the young man is still quite pale, almost ghostly. Atop the young Samurai's head are long, raven locks that normally are pulled back into a pony tail, allowing his bangs to flow around his face. His eyes are a soft gold, shimmering with the enthusiasm of youth.
COGNITION[/u]
- Personality: A natural kindness courses through the young Samurai's veins, accompanied by a naivete akin to that of a small child. The eternal optimist, Matsu always tries to see the best in people, often leading to him getting into trouble that would have otherwise been easily avoided. He is honest to a fault, and while he knows not everyone else is, he tries to believe people when they speak. Sadly enough this kindness causes him to be easily manipulated by the fairer sex.
From a young age a strong sense of justice was instilled in the youth, causing him to act impulsively, and sometimes recklessly, to protect those in need. The values that were instilled by his parents seem to trigger a hidden, aggressive temper.
One of Matsu's greatest traits though is his impulsive, yet laid back attitude. The young samurai is quite fun loving and gets along with most, if not all of his peers. - Alignment: Neutral Good

Description: Forged from a strange, chakra absorbing ore harvested from the highest mountain peaks in the Land of Iron, These series of swords have the unique ability of channeling chakra through their blades, producing some interesting effects. For some odd reason the sword only reacts to the pure chakra used by the samurai. While each blade is forged using the same techniques, no two of these katana ever look the same or have the same name, for every order is custom designed to fit the customer's individual fighting style. The sword must still retain the basic shape of a Katana.
Weapon Appearance: While retaining the form of a standard Katana, Gekka still has a unique appearance. The blade is six inches longer then that of your standard katana, and is a deep, ebony in color, making it quite useful for missions late at night. The Tsuba, or hand guard, of Gekka is in the shape of a two crescent moons back to back, interlaced in such a way that the rims of the moon can not only block an incoming blade but also deals puncture damage if the opponent is hit with them. Below the Tsuba is the blade's Tang. The tangs wrapped in a pristine and radiant white cord, while the decorations below the chord are done once more in an ebony. On the bottom of the pommel is a ebony blade in the shape of a crescent moon, useful for splitting helms and counter-attacking.
