[/b] he said to me with a face so content it almost broke me right there. I almost bit my lip as I responded “No! I was protecting my mother! That bastard killed her!!” I said in a hysterical rage – blood boiling to the utmost root of my hatred to the thought of the law enforcement scum that ran this village. We didn’t even have a leader because this place was literally garbage on the street.

“Can you prove that..?” he said whilst taking a seat right in front of me pulling out a kunai and sharpening it with another. “No! But neither can you! I didn’t kill my parents.. for all I know you’re the ones who did it!” I said in an sarcastic tone whilst looking to the side towards the nearest window. The sun was something I’d treasured the most in these lonesome days here in the village which were covered by plethora’s of clouds. I tapped my foot along the hardwood floor because I’m impatient. These people brought me here to investigate a murder… well, I’d show them something about mystery alright.

“Watch the way you’re talking to me boy… I’m the captain around here and you’re lucky I didn’t order my men to kill you on the spot..” he said whilst stopping the routine of his usual ‘carving of the knife.’ He stood now once more looking down onto me and replied “We know you didn’t kill your mother. But we are going to delve into your memories so we do not have to question you any further. Every memory we take will permanently be erased from your sub-conscious…”

[/b] I boasted out in an attempt to shatter his thought-out plan to scare me.

I would take on all of them if I truly had it in me. But I knew that would be somewhat impossible considering that I’d just now graduated from the academy. With nostrils flared my alter would take this opportunity to step in. I would go through a slight stare of the wall before I seemingly brought my head back in a swooping motion with a new attitude. I was now Zero or in other terms my split personality, shinzo kori. I chuckled a bit before coming in tune with the world around me – a room that smelled of mold.

The ANBU captain looked at me once more but I were not the same now. My alter had switched just in time. “Ahh… so you do cherish memories of your mother then… is that what you’re saying..?” the red eyed man asked me. I chuckled a good bit before responding to him in a new persona. “Fuck your mother bitch… lets get on with this shit..!” I responded to him. He looked up in an estranged way and towards his other comrades who’d also noticed the split-second change within my personality.

My hues called to them in an edgy way. With my toes I’d lift the chair up a bit and as the captain came to me I’d kick him right in his gut and slam my back and head upon the chair which landed right on the ground. I hopped up quickly after untying the ropes around my hand – an ability I’d taken from the academy with pride. The other three ANBU guards stopped me quickly though. They grabbed me up and held me idle whilst the captain regained his consciousness.

[/i] he said with a bloody smile coming towards my figure and knocking the air out of me. I could not speak but my mind floated about as my body – in a paralysis – transported to another position. I could feel my body being placed within a chair of some sorts and a mechanism being placed over my head. Could they hear my thoughts right now..? I knew one thing… it was after the moment I had awoken that I would not be able to remember anything other than what I had just said to myself.

'Could they hear my thoughts right now?'The question rang in my head as my eyes flustered open in attempts to clear away the blurry aftermath of my vision. Oculars of burgundy leered down the atmosphere of the room. I was alone. The distant sound of water dropping into a bucket awoke me in an instant. A helmet of sorts was on my head connected to a giant generator that I seemed to be sitting in. ‘hello !?’ I yelled forth in a mighty boast. My hands jerked back and forth out of the restrains I’d been put in.

I did the same thing with my feet after figuring out I could easily move out of it. As I got up I took the helmet off of my head and as soon as I did a migraine took over me. Flashbacks of the room I was in before came to me… but also other images I’d not seen yet until now. The images of them asking me questions… putting me through tests… just what had they really done to me? My eyes flicked about aimlessly at the images within my head.

My knees bent as I crashed to the ground with my hands propping me up as I shook from the treatment I’d undergone. With a large gulp I’d spit out the nasty taste in my mouth. It was dark as hell in here so I couldn’t grab a sample of it but that all didn’t matter too much as I stepped out of the chair. The light was dim and flickering at the top of the room – it was about to go out. Distant voices echoed and bounced off of the walls in waves as I stammered towards the kanji symbol ‘exit.’ It was a door – hand crafted with yukigakure’s symbols engraved within its center.
