Physicality
- Height: 6'1
- Weight: 198 lbs
- Appearance:
Jusei has a very athletic build, standing almost one head taller than the regular civilian of Iwagakure and weighing close to 40 lbs more than what's considered average. His body is mostly muscle due to his strict training regimens, making him a bit of a poster-guy for the shape that a combat specialized shinobi should strive to maintain, with years of flexibility training resulting in his muscles being more lean than bulky and very defined. His face is rough and stern with a strong jawline, straight nose, broad mouth and narrow brown eyes. Keeping his hair cut in anything but a short, buzz-style haircut has never occurred to him as he figures that long hair would only provide his enemies added advantages against him, giving them another place to grab and pull in a close-range fight.
Much like his hair, his uniform is simple and snug-fitting for practical purposes, consisting of a brown tank-top with an underlying short-sleeved mesh shirt and tan cargo-pants that are slightly baggy for added mobility but kept wrapped together from his calves and below in order to prevent them from catching in any undergrowth. He keeps most of his weapons stored in pouches on his thighs, his tanto being the exception as it is strapped on to his lower back with a thick, sturdy belt holding the saya. He also wears leather forearm protectors to block incoming projectile weapons and has his hitai-ate tied around his head in a bandana-like fashion. - Blemishes, Markings and Scars:
Many scars of different sizes cover Jusei's arms and torso, most of them courtesy of enemy shinobi encountered during his career. He also has a large tattoo depicting the kanji “Iwa” (岩) on his right shoulder. There are no defining scars on his body, however, since most of them are of the small variation that most shinobi ends up with sooner or later during their career – memories from battles won and enemies defeated.
Cognition
- Personality: One word to describe Jusei would be discipline. The tall young man is definitely one who takes his training and his chosen path in life very seriously, dedicating most of his waking hours to either training or running missions. Believing that true strength is gained through many hours of hard exercise and accumulated experience, he pursuits whatever goal he might currently be aiming towards with a single-mindedness that borderlines obsession. This would naturally not make him the most sociable of guys, but he couldn't really care less about that – to him, his entire life is dedicated to Iwagakure and the village's goals.
His focus on training and his career has had the unfortunate side-effect of estranging him from matters more commonly associated with a teenager. What few friends he has are generally nothing more than sparring partners or comrades in arms, people who he deem important but at the same time fully expect to not know for very long periods of time. Death has always been a natural part of a shinobi's life, and he feels that he would be cheating himself if he pretended that he was something he isn't, which is why he keeps his associates at an arms length; simply put, he does not dare to risk forming attachments to someone only to watch them die later on a mission.
Despite this, and unknown to himself, if he'd make a close friend his innate loyalty would assure that he'd do anything in his power to keep them safe and to defeat threats directed towards them, much like he does today for his village. He might be a cold bastard, but underneath his conscious behavior lies the personality of a man who'd walk through hell and back for something he deemed important, probably dragging whatever enemy he faces with him on the journey. - Alignment: Lawful Neutral
- Allegiance: Iwagakure
- Quirks and tendencies:
- Jusei rarely smiles when he's happy. Instead, if he's smiling it probably means he's either embarrassed or in the beginning stages of anger.
- When faced with high authority, such as the Tsuchikage, a Sannin or potentially a Daimyo, he will refer to himself as “this humble one” or “your humble servant”. Otherwise, he is very polite (to the point where it could possibly bother people who don't care much for authority) and always use correct honorifics (-san, -kun etc.), even while in combat.
- Jusei never curses.
