• Apparel: Hibiki prefers to keep most of his body covered, wearing a light black overcoat and a long sleeved khaki shirt underneath with a teal, single strapped ninja vest directly over the shirt. Bandages are found around each hand, just below the ninja gloves he wears to conceal them, yet the bandage wrapped around his right ankle is clearly visible along the bottom part of his calf. He wears normal ninja sandals and keeps his headband worn slanted atop his head, sliding down over a single eye. Due to the already heightened sense of sight possessed by a Hoshigake, Hibiki feels he can strengthen this trait by training himself to fight with only one eye open. His pants are a dark brown, slightly more loose at the top half than the bottom half, which tucks under his ankle bandage on the right foot and into his ninja sandal on the other.
  
• Body Appearance: Hibiki is fairly tall, yet lean with a moderate muscle tone. While he is still only fifteen years old he’s acquired his maximum adult height and tends to focus more on building his muscle tone. His hair is moderately long, down to his chin, onyx black in shade, and spiky. It tends to fall over the front of either side of his face and spike in the very back at a shorter length than that of the front. His eyes, while possessing a small iris, are a tangerine orange, complementing his natural blue body tone. Underneath each eye he possess gills, like a typical Hoshigake would. While at times it may not appear, his mouth is particularly large, possessing extremely sharp and pointed teeth just as a shark would. Not a single tooth is dull or flat. His eyes almost seem to possess “tear-drop” markings like that of a member in the felid family of cats, however they are simply dark blue markings that run down from the inner corner of each eye and halt their advance before the tip of his nose.
  
• Blemishes & Scars: The palms of his hands are heavily scarred and blistered due to the careless and intense training he placed himself under as an academy student. While he doesn’t quite mind the pain from cuts and bruises he finds the ninja gloves and bandages provide a balanced state of grip for him when handling ninja tools and weapons.
  

COGNITION[/u]

• Personality: Hibiki is very quiet due to the fact he is almost always in contemplation. He prefers to be left alone and merely wants to fulfill his role as a ninja, serving the village to his maximum potential. While he may seem disconnected and heartless to those who don’t know him personally (which is few considering how many people he actually allows to get to know him!) he does take into consideration such things as emotion and recognizes the difference between an honorable fight/kill and a dishonorable fight/kill. He is not cruel, nor is he over emotional. He is simply someone who keeps to himself, but can understand the feelings of others based off how he would respond if he were in their situation. Despite this innate trait for understanding he’s developed, he will always place wellbeing and safety of his home before anything else.

They have an open circle in the center, used for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also a benefit in aerodynamics, as it ensures more accurate trajectories.

Description: The Hoshigaki Clan are very much used to fighting underwater, and in fact feel at home in it. This is why their whole fighting style is based upon flooding the field and then forcing the opponent to fight underwater, where the user will have the advantage. Because of their constant fighting underwater, they've learned how to move and manipulate their own bodies while submerged, making them terribly difficult opponents to match when they're in their element. This ability, once learned, allows the user to fight with grace and ease underwater, to the very point that it seems like they were fighting naturally above it.

Description: Sharks have amazing eyesight. Description: After injuring an opponent, the Hoshigake will generally try to force an underwater fight by flooding the field or trapping someone with some other water-based techniques. Description: Normally, the Hoshigake's body is set to breath through the lungs, which takes in oxygen from the air and then allows the user to exhale. However, the Hoshigake's body has a secondary set of breathing tools obtained from their fantastic shark DNA - gills. By activating this technique, the user becomes capable of switching the manner in which their brain commands the body, moving to use the gills instead of the lungs. In this manner, it is impossible for the Hoshigaki to drown as they are now using gills to breath. To cancel the technique, the user simply uses mental command, ending the effect and transitioning back to the use of the lungs.

Special: Allows the user to enter a sort of 'berserk' status, barring the use of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and chakra in general in favor of powering their physicality, endurance and stamina. During this mode, only known Taijutsu may be used. Once active, the Frenzy may not be cancelled. No pain is felt during frenzy, but during cool-down, all damage suffered is delivered onto the user all at once, making the pain much worse all at once. Cool-down cannot be avoided by leaving a thread, as all turns must be RP'ed out; coincidentally, cool-down occurs the turn immediately after the final Frenzy turn. Finally, during cool-down, movement speed is half of the user's maximum frenzy boost, (so if it's 140%, you'll move at 70% speed for the remainder of the cool-down) , and the strength gained from 'Same no Ryoku (Strength of the Shark)' is temporarily disabled.

Description: Nothing is quite as frightening as a shark who has entered a frenzy. When the shark becomes enraged or maddened, it enters a state of mind that effectively forces the creature to become nerve-dead. During this time, they cannot feel any pain, and are capable of fighting with the intense need for survival. This survival mechanism allows the clan member to fight with a vicious ferocity and without the ability to feel pain. After the frenzy, the user will become exhausted, reducing his or her ability to fight dramatically.

  Description: Suijinheki is one of the most impressive Suiton jutsu, and one of the few actually able to defend the user indefinitely from danger. The user will first do a string of hand seals, length varying by rank, and then they proceed to blow out a jet of water from their mouth. This stream moves at high speeds, and after five meters or so from the user, begins to form itself to a size equal and greater to that of the incoming attack, allowing it to act as a water barrier.

  Special: Fills a large, 10 meter area with mist as long as the user keep the technique flowing. Each time retrained, area of mist expands by 10 more meters. Mist blocks out all doujutsu requiring clear visibility.
  Description: Though very basic, the Hidden Mist Technique allows for the stealthier side of combat to rule. After forming a few simple handseals, the user causes the area surrounding their target to be covered in fog. The low visibility allows the ninja to silently and secretly assassinate their target, as they can move unseen, and if careful, unheard.

  Special: Oil automatically raises offensive Katon and Raiton jutsu by a single rank. Highly combustible, it rains down upon the general area of the target, making it easy to create large fires.
  Description: One of the many advantages of Suiton is its ability to assist other elements in their power. In this case, the user summons forth flammable oil so that they can use this in conjunction with other jutsu. After forming the necessary hand seals, a black mist will emit from the user’s body and will rise into the sky. In the next turn, black clouds will form, releasing an intense, heavy flammable rain of oil onto one’s targets.
