Surprise! No, really.
First, in terms of the paralysis, I don't believe there is an actual description in terms of what it does to your body. I'll be editing that after this tournament. Regardless, whether your went rigid or limp is irrelevant. You're running at twenty-plus miles per hour and you suddenly just lost control of your body, which would've sent you crashing face first into the ground. I'm not sure if either of you have done something similar to this, or seen it happen, but the chances of your character (Testament) even being able to continue fighting is slim to none.
What's more, you probably wouldn't even be conscious from that point on. That means your clone should've dispersed, but since this was the grand finals, I definitely wasn't going to call it out. That's up to the players in questions (namely Apple); and since she didn't, you're still in there!
Even if your limbs were aiming toward her, paralysis means you wouldn't be able to cast any sort of technique from the instant you were caught in her jutsu. So, again, irrelevant.
Moving on, in terms of the sparrows, the issue of timing really isn't that difficult. Even if your clone can perform seals at a fairly quick pace (.5 seconds), it still would've taken him at least three seconds to form them. Likewise, these birds don't form instantaneously; nothing on this site does, so I'm not sure why they would. That in itself would've taken some time, as well.
The base time it would've taken your seals to form, followed by the actual creation of the entire set, wouldn't be faster than her character simply moving toward you - more so because you'd still probably be skipping across the ground toward her at your super awesome speed - and extending her leg (which easily breaches a meter length) and crushing your skull in or knocking you the fuck out entirely. And then from that point on, your clone and its jutsu would cease to exist.
Congratulations to both of you for making it this far in the tournament, but Apple is our champion!
