My opponent, some 20 meters away from me stood still and listened equally as intentively as me for the proctor to allow us to begin our little altercation. Proving to him that kunoichi were just as capable, if not more capable than their male counterparts was my goal today. My kunai, who's hilt was wrapped tightly in a special parchment paper, was firmly gripped in my hands, ready to be flung at my opponent at a moment's notice.¹ My eyes flicked to my left and right to take in my surroundings, such as many logs and large rocks some 5 meters away from me.

My hand wavered to the hilt of my ninjato, I would have to wait and see what type of skills my opponent had. Hopefully he wouldn't be too easy that I could take him out with one jutsu. Or possibly a fire could take him out, most suiton users were thought of as water only and never used fire. I could blind him with hidden msit and trap him in the prison drowning him or get him in a position to surrender. Battle tatics and plans recaed through my head as I waited for the announcement of the battle to begin.
