• It is common among the Hoshigake clan for members to be brash. Often times this can be an understatement with their reintroduction into the common realm of shinobi as they are seen as otherworldly despite their contributions to the overall defense of a respective village. Kiijin is no different and perhaps takes it to an entirely new level, as there is no village he feels deserves his respect other than Kirigakure. He is heedless to the consequences of what he says or does. He has an overpowering need to be free from the restraints that village obligations place but still shows respect when it is obviously due. This way of thinking has led him to detest most shinobi of other villages.
  
  
• Most noticeable is that Hoshigake are voracious eaters. To supplement their large size, they require large amounts of food to sustain them. Kiijin has an insatiable hunger, but not for deer, wheat, or other foods. No. Kiijin craves the flesh of other shinobi and has since his academy graduation where he murdered several genin and ate them in secret. Since then he has promised to devour every shinobi he crosses that holds allegiance to a village other than his own.
  
  
• Other than being loud, hungry, and rude. Kiijin is a bloodthirsty creature. His ideal world is one bathed in blood and war, where he can go berserk. There is no mercy in the world, especially not one at war. With so many to destroy and devour, how could the idea no appeal to this ravenous Hoshigake?
  
  
• There is a soft side to this otherwise sociopath murderer. Nature is treated with great respect, particularly those of the ocean. Sometimes Kiijin can even grow fond of Suiton users or the like, for their gentle nature and natural inclination for everything aquatic.

Special: A one-handed sword imbued with Suiton chakra. Used as a catalyst and source for suiton chakra as long as chakra equivalent to the technique being used.
Description: Ardemus is an ancient blade forged by the great grandfather of Yuuza Kenshiro and passed down through generations. It was now Kenshiro's turn to wield this mighty Yuuza blade. It bears the appearance of a standard short sword, however, lacks a proper hilt and the blade itself radiates with a watery blue, signifying its suiton nature. The secret behind this blades power is that it acts as a catalyst and source for suiton jutsu, making up for the constant demand of hand seals and source. With a simple charge of chakra it allows the wielder to perform a specific list of suiton jutsu equivalent to the highest level of Poseidon's dominion known and lower without seals or a outside source. However, because of its power, it causes all suiton techs used to increase on tier in consumption. Also Ardemus can only perform suiton jutsu that the user knows, so it varies from user to user.

Special: Shark skin serves to halve incoming impacting damage, though piercing attacks, those that exploit an elemental weakness, or attacks stronger in rank will go through the cartilage with full power. Ineffective against Genjutsu.
Description: Part of what makes a Hoshigake so unique is its fusion of human and shark DNA. Having gained a thin layer of cartilage underneath their blueish skin as a result, the user learns how to use that cartilage in combination with their chakra in order to lessen the impact of melee strikes against them. By channeling their special shark chakra into the thin layer underneath the skin, the cartilage there begins to act like a sponge, ready to cushion damage. As a result, whenever the user is hit, the sponge-like manner of the cartilage absorbs a portion of the damage, reducing the damage done to the user significantly.

Description: The Hoshigaki Clan are very much used to fighting underwater, and in fact feel at home in it. This is why their whole fighting style is based upon flooding the field and then forcing the opponent to fight underwater, where the user will have the advantage. Because of their constant fighting underwater, they've learned how to move and manipulate their own bodies while submerged, making them terribly difficult opponents to match when they're in their element. This ability, once learned, allows the user to fight with grace and ease underwater, to the very point that it seems like they were fighting naturally above it.

Special: Allows the user to enter a sort of 'berserk' status, barring the use of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and chakra in general in favor of powering their physicality, endurance and stamina. During this mode, only known Taijutsu may be used. Once active, the Frenzy may not be cancelled. No pain is felt during frenzy, but during cool-down, all damage suffered is delivered onto the user all at once, making the pain much worse all at once. Cool-down cannot be avoided by leaving a thread, as all turns must be RP'ed out; coincidentally, cool-down occurs the turn immediately after the final Frenzy turn. Finally, during cool-down, movement speed is half of the user's maximum frenzy boost, (so if it's 140%, you'll move at 70% speed for the remainder of the cool-down) , and the strength gained from 'Same no Ryoku (Strength of the Shark)' is temporarily disabled.

Description: Nothing is quite as frightening as a shark who has entered a frenzy. When the shark becomes enraged or maddened, it enters a state of mind that effectively forces the creature to become nerve-dead. During this time, they cannot feel any pain, and are capable of fighting with the intense need for survival. This survival mechanism allows the clan member to fight with a vicious ferocity and without the ability to feel pain. After the frenzy, the user will become exhausted, reducing his or her ability to fight dramatically.

Description: Normally, the Hoshigake's body is set to breath through the lungs, which takes in oxygen from the air and then allows the user to exhale. However, the Hoshigake's body has a secondary set of breathing tools obtained from their fantastic shark DNA - gills. By activating this technique, the user becomes capable of switching the manner in which their brain commands the body, moving to use the gills instead of the lungs. In this manner, it is impossible for the Hoshigaki to drown as they are now using gills to breath. To cancel the technique, the user simply uses mental command, ending the effect and transitioning back to the use of the lungs.

Suirō Sameodori no Jutsu (Water Prison Shark Dance Technique)

Description: The most powerful Technique within the Hoshigake bloodline, Water prison shark dance is a fearsome jutsu. After the user performs a long and strenuous string of handseals, they gather suiton chakra from within their gullet and begin to eject a powerful jet of water which begins to morph into a gigantic dome of water that surrounds allies and enemies alike.

  Special: Fills a large, 10 meter area with mist as long as the user keep the technique flowing. Each time retrained, area of mist expands by 10 more meters to a maximum of 50 meters. Mist blocks out all doujutsu requiring clear visibility, but does not hinder the ability to see chakra.
  Description: Though very basic, the Hidden Mist Technique allows for the stealthier side of combat to rule. After forming a few simple handseals, the user causes the area surrounding their target to be covered in fog. The low visibility allows the ninja to silently and secretly assassinate their target, as they can move unseen, and if careful, unheard. The mist can be unsettled by a very strong wind based technique (for one post), though it will eventually return.

  Description: Suijinheki is one of the most impressive Suiton jutsu, and one of the few actually able to defend the user indefinitely from danger. The user will first do a string of hand seals, length varying by rank, and then they proceed to blow out a jet of water from their mouth. This stream moves at high speeds, and after five meters or so from the user, begins to form itself to a size equal and greater to that of the incoming attack, allowing it to act as a water barrier.

  Description: With this technique, the Suiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of water, this clone retains the user movement speed and strength. Best of all, due to its flowing essence, the water clone is capable of using a hefty amount of the original user's suiton-based techniques either for defensive means or offensive.

  Description: A simple yet effective suiton technique, after forming the necessary hand seals, the user manifests bullet sized water projectiles in their mouth, which can then spit at their opponent at fast speeds for a quick attack. As the user’s knowledge of the this technique increases, so does the amount of bullets they can fire off.

Victims can only break free by providing a chakra burst equal to double that of the syrup cost, including retraining for extra turns. If the user does not coat their feet in special chakra, they can be stuck by this as well.
  Description: Mizuame Nabara is a ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. After forming the needed handseals, the user will quickly expel a sticky liquid from their mouths. If the target runs on top of the liquid, their feet will become glued to its sticky surface. If the user focuses chakra to their feet before touching the surface, they can hover above and move over it without hindrance. This allows the caster or a comrade to charge and attack without fear of becoming bogged down as well, as long as they keep the chakra to their feet steady.

  Description: Suirou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. After the shinobi forms the necessary hand seals, the water around the victim comes together in order to form a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby, or even have the bunshin be the one’s holding the target hostage.

    Description: Suitenhoufutsu is a suiton ninjutsu technique which causes water to rise from the ground and surround the target, like Water Prison, yet without requiring the user to keep it steady by keeping hand contact. After the user does a string of hand seals, they summon the water, and can then use this water to drown his target, keep them imprisoned, or even torture.

Due to the pressure of the attacks, they can only be destroyed by ‘A’ ranked attacks and above. Sharks can travel wherever there is water, and exist until they are defeated or run out of water. The user cannot create more batches of sharks until the original five are defeated. The sharks do not distinguish between friend or foe. Requires a water source.
  Description: Goshokuzame is a ninjutsu technique utilizing the power of Suiton, and although slightly unconventional due to its environmental prerequisites, nonetheless powerful and deadly. After the user forms the needed hand seals, they will place their hands on the surface of the water in order to transfer their chakra. From here, a shark of condensed water will emerge from each of the user’s fingertips, ordered only for one thing – to attack, maim and kill all opponents who reside in the water below.

  Baku Suishouha (Bursting Water Collision Waves)

  Description: Baku Suishouha is an offensive ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. This will then expand into a large volume of water, propelled forwards at high speeds, resulting in powerful initial blasting damage, as well as plenty of water to flood a small village, break down large barriers, or put out large fires. Lastly, if the user wishes, they can push a bit of additional chakra into their feel so that they can essentially walk along the water and even ride it as if they were surfing.

  Mizu Kamikiri (Rising Water Cutter)

  Description: Mizu Kamikiri is a dangerous ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. After forming the necessary handseals, the user will then slam their foot hard onto to the ground, causing water to rise up and travel towards his target as a slicing jet, moving at frightening speeds. This jet cuts through the surface and can pierce through stone, resulting in quick death unless the opponent can predict or foresee the water and move out of the way in time.

  Description: Held with two hands, the user comes to control the powers of suiton in a way like never before, though sealless the user must use both hands. With a simple swing, thrust, or simply pointing it at the target whilst feeding it chakra to activate its abilities

However, the technique itself can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.
