Description: With this technique, the Raiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of lightning, this clone retains the user movement speed and can share linked mental judgement. Best of all, due to its flowing essence, many solid attacks pass through the clone, shocking instead whatever was used to strike them. Finally, when defeated, the clone explodes into a storm of lightning that aims to take over the nearest opponent available, taking over their body whole as it is shocked.

Best of all, due to its flowing essence, many solid physical attacks pass through the clone, burning instead whatever was used to strike them. Finally, when defeated, the clone explodes into a blast of flame that aims to take over the nearest opponent available in the form of napalm.

So I've got a question concerning how much these clones can do/interact with an opponent. My interpretation is that they're simply elemental versions of the original clone jutsu, thus they can't attack their enemies, rather they're decoys. However if that's the case, then are they only able to be defeated by ninjutsu (since solid attacks go through them)?

Also can the user force implode them on their own to do the damage?

These are solid, elemental clones that can be used on conjunction with their base element to provide unique physical attacks. While they can't perform jutsu, they can move around and use normal Taijutsu, as well as do as you ask - explode upon your command, not theirs.

The reason why attacks pass through them is because they are made of elements with no substance - quite opposite to striking, say, an ice or earth clone...

Alright I believe I understand, then I've got one more question. How many hits can these clones take before dispursing?

Technically, any hit above the clone rank can disperse them, so it could theoretically absorb endless 'D' rankers, but be popped by a single 'B' ranked attack.
