Hi no kuni, a bastion of lush green trees and undergrowth that reached at least up to the average person's shin. The sight was amazing, light was dim, yet, what sunlight managed to pierce the canopy allowed for the forest to maintain a well lit environment. Columns of trees seemed to be everywhere, thick, strong, and grew to be at least 40 meters tall. As young Masuyo traveled through the forest, he merely stopped inbetween two trees that were rooted roughly 5 meters to his right and left flank. He memorized the paper he had been given which demanded him to meet his opponent in this area. Whether or not said opponent decided to show up was beyond him, all he could do is wait.

Dressed in a dark blue robe with sleeves that ran down just above his wrist which kept the contents of his ototon totting right arm hidden from plain view. His sandaled feet were shoulder length apart and both arms rested at his side as he waited, eyes bounced about around the environment, trying to pinpoint the location of his opponents arrival. Leaves were everywhere, scattered along the ground along with broken pieces of twigs, it gave him an advantage, providing him with tell-tale warnings should the opponent decide to approach on ground level. Whoever this person was, he needed to end them quickly so his training to learn the art of Nature Chakra can be completed.

From his left sleeve, a kunai fell into his hand and gripped it as if it was a blade. He was ready for war. Was his opponent equally ready?

However tranquil the forest might have appeared to be, what peace that one enveloped it would soon be voided as a battle scene was to begin here- Soon. A letter had been given; But had I been the one to send it? Such mysteries were unknown to those who faced me, I’m sure, but as the forest was soon graced with my beautiful presence, the thick atmosphere would perhaps be lifted- for the few moments that I roamed- Until I set my eyes on the very male who I was sure that I was here to fight. Much shorter than me; He couldn’t have looked older than twenty at the most. Robes looked pretty gay on him but then again I figured that he was in to that kind of fashion, right? It wasn’t exactly my kind of thing- but I couldn’t account for everyone on this desolate waste of space that was our world.

And so brilliantly the sun shone on my blonde hair, highlighting it as my eyes focused on my opponent. And so- A total of twenty meters between us, I’d stand tall at my statuesque height, looking at him from the distance that I was at, keeping an eye on his movements as I kept stationary, my hands held closely in front of me for easy sealing should the moment arise, as I soon doubted that this fight would take that long. With Samehada on my back, accessing it would be easy; But whether or not I’d need to use it in this fight was entirely up to the events that would occur next, which I, despite being as gifted above any other, was unable to forsee.

The tiniest of glints from the sun on some metallic item signified that there was something more sinister lurking under the horrendous choice of clothing that he had. He was ready? Well so was I.

A simple nod seemed to set the tone for what not registered as a battlefield. His upperbody leaned forward, but slightly, he shot forward in a ample sprint though he had not been going as fast as he could have. The crunching sound of leaves and twigs snapping beneath the pressure of his steps signaled his movements, rushing a decent 2 meters per second in a straight path. His eyes, wide and focused, set themselves upon the woman who arrived just a few moments ago at Masuyo's immediate front, but still quite a distance away. Given the letter he was to receive a large sum of money should he emerge as the victor. He coveted that money, the very money that would be used to save his one and only sister.

By the time he managed to successfully cross the five meter threshold (15 away from Blanche) his mind was hard at work, trying to deeply examine her physical being. There had been nothing noteworthy as of yet other than overly large handle that sprouted from behind her. A sword perhaps? He merely continued with his dampened speed, reaching the ten meter mark within 5 seconds (1 turn). Alert and attentive, he watched to see what sort of reaction his advancing would conjure, only time could tell.

His words flowed through my mind as I prepared myself for what would come next. Of course, I couldn’t be sure of what abilities he had exactly, but at the same time I’d be safe to assume that he was good. Although I’d have loved to put him down and misjudge him, in a situation like this where I could either walk away a rich woman and alive or barely living and my weapons looted, I had to take things seriously. And, with my eyes having been previously taking in every miniscule detail that he was showing through his body language and the way that he’d spoken, it was only expected for him to start this all off. Like a freed beast he ran, and the moment his feet began to move, I’d already begun my seals for the wind technique that had so much potential to be used in this first.

It would take me barely moments to form the seals that were needed- A total of roughly 2.5 seconds would be spent on these hand movements finishing with the familiar tiger seal, as I rose my hands to an adequate height to take out this little poser- By the end of this match, I didn’t expect for his life to be mine and diminished, but if things went like that then I couldn’t help it, couldn’t I? With my hands ready to fire with my right hand and index finger pointing towards the torso of the male, more identifiable, his own left, and my right- His heart, being a medic I was fantastic with anatomy- And I never spared the smallest of details that could be useful to the outcome of this fight. Of course- Understanding the nature of the technique I was using, I purposely aimed slightly higher than I’d wanted, allowing it to travel downwards in to the chest of my enemy- A hit to the heart would have surely prevented him from working on top speed and perhaps even mortally wounded him- But any hit to the chest was desirable, really. Travelling at twice the speed of a flying kunai and with roughly the same power as a real bullet, he’d have been 15 meters away by the time that I’d have shot- and at the sheer speed it was travelling at, it wouldn’t surprise me if he’d been hit by it and dealt a painful, tortuous and disabling blow to the chest by the bullet itself. As I waited for my attack to reap its effects, I myself stood at my same point, my arms still risen conveniently for any advances that I’d need to make if he wasn’t brought down by my attack.

That money was mine.

Chakra is focused into the point at the tip of their fingers; a bullet-sized and shaped ball of green energy begins to form. By aiming at an opponent as if using a gun, they can fire this streamlined pellet. It travels at twice the speed of a kunai thanks to a decrease in wind velocity around the bullet, and packs the same amount of power when it does hit. The drawback is that it shoots in a linear path and, like every other object, is pulled down by gravity as it travels. The farther away the target, the less likely it will be to connect.

Misjudged, a sharp pain quickly swelled within his chest as he found himself moving backwards unwillingly. The force of this tiny, wind compressed bull held enough impact to stop him dead in his tracks before he even had the chance to cross 4 meters of space. His feet dug into the surface of the ground as he slid back about a meter and a half. He had not been bleeding, but he sure felt like it given the impact of the 'bullet'. Catching himself for a moment he came to a full stand, Kunai still in hand, ready for blood. Although he miscalculated his own movements and the girls jutsu, and judging from the nature of the attack, it was safe to say she knew some form of Fuuton. Although that specific attack was minuscule in nature, a possibility that she knew more techniques with much more power had to be considered. He was only lucky this time around.

Nevertheless, he readied himself once more. Now 17 meters from the woman, he would have rushed into another half sprint, advancing two meters per second, senses more alive and alert than ever before. Bolting forward in a linear fashion, he placed the handle of his kunai in-between his teeth, attempting close the gap between him and his opponent to 8 meters, however, the possibility of her just allowing him to do so had been non-existent. He presumed she would have responded in some to his second advancement, leaving him no other choice than to adjust properly. This time around his sprint held less confidence, meaning he knew that reaching that distance wasn't guaranteed, using the previous encounter as a testament to that fact.

You've stated clearly in your first post that you covered 10 meters, which took you a total of 5 seconds, although you end your post AT the 10 meter mark, and you haven't stated that you stopped running at that ten meter mark in your first post, so I'm assuming you keep running anyways. With your latest post, you've gone back and revised your actions during that 10 meter run, which I believe, is disallowed as you're technically editing your first post with notable quotes which are shown below.

If you go back and compare your first post to your second- I finished my seals on the 2.5 second mark, which is when you, allegedly during your first post, reached the 5 meter mark, which gives me 2.5 seconds to fire off my bullet, although in this new post you elaborate heavily on the first, notably changing the direction of what your character first did, if that makes sense.

True true I overlooked the forming bit, so I'll accept that detail, but truly with such speed to the technique it wouldn't make that much difference.

Gene's attempt to alter his original actions fail, and thusly he is struck by the wind bullet. While not enough to kill him, the pain would be enough to falter his advanced and possibly leave him open to a swift follow-up. Posting continues as usual!

His feet dug into the surface of the ground as he slid back about a meter and a half. He had not been bleeding, but he sure felt like it given the impact of the 'bullet'. Catching himself for a moment he came to a full stand, Kunai still in hand, ready for blood.

The bullet that I sent flying towards him would seem to fly in to him faster than I’d expected, and I’d then find that he’d stop in his tracks, leaving a moment for me to follow up to the attack I’d just dealt. Of course- I was aware that the bullet surely wouldn’t do too much, but it would at least cause him to think twice about crossing me- Maybe he’d back down now after realizing that he was, frankly, walking to his own death. Or- Running as I soon viewed it. With two quick bursts to my legs I’d travel forwards almost instantaneously as I noticed that he’d stalled after my attack, moving forwards a total of fourteen meters, which would barely take me but a moment to do. Kicking up branches and leaves in my wake my disappearance was covered somewhat- Only for me to appear directly in front of him, 10 meters from my original position. Barely a moment after I’d reached this mark, chakra began to flow in to my hands. He’d have already started to run, my blue eyes plastered all over his robed form- He’d made a run for me the first time around- Perhaps he was more of a hand to hand fighter?

Which was quite unfortunate, as so was I.

As he attempted to close the distance between the both of us at roughly two meters per second and with chakra surging in my hand by now and with barely a moment to spare, I’d punch my chakra-induced hand in to the chest of our darling competitor as we collided, with enough power that could surely shatter a mountain given the chance. Breaking bones and rupturing his organs was inevitable as I deflected his path, surely. Being in such close quarters; And my reappearance so much closer to him whilst he himself charged forwards, the effect would be similar to that of a baseball and bat except with very fatal reprecussions; And I was getting a homerun with this little bitch.

His prediction was right. Noticing that the woman decided to take off in a rather high speed movement in a linear fashion, heading straight towards Masuyo has he had to her. The movement was by far no normal run, but it still wasn't anything that was incomprehensibly fast, however, whether or not his body could properly keep up had been beyond him. He continued upon his path after having placed his kunai in-between his teeth as she continued forward and closed the distance in a matter of seconds. He presumed that she desired to now bring the fight to close quarters combat, he accepted that challenge wholeheartedly.

As she halted directly to his front, he held up a arm of his own, ready to launch an attack of his own, however, her punch managed to find its target first. Eyes, wide, rolled into the back of his head as painful grunts emanated from his lungs. Was it over so quickly?! The power behind the connecting punch was immense, yet, when it actually connected, victory did not come, nor did blood. Instead a large emission of smoke, enough to obstruct the woman's vision from that close distance, expelled from where Masuyo was only to reveal a thick piece of tree which shattered into millions of pieces.

Oh the powers of Kawarimi, you see, Masuyo merely took advantage of nature itself, at bittersweet tactic he learned to appreciate while learning to control natures very energy. Nevertheless he swapped presence with a nearby tree, namely one that was stationed roughly 5 meters to Blanche's righter most flank. Replacing himself with one of many trees in what seemed to be countless of columns wasn't a difficult task to say the least, all it required was a little bit of accurate timing. Horizontally (protrudting) standing upon the side of said tree, roughly 2 meters off the ground, he removed the kunai from his mouth and tapped it upon his Dosu Kinuta with ample force.

That little tap was enough to create a medium of sound or movement to properly activate his Dosu Kinuta. Upon activating said technique, pressured sound waves expelled from the holes as its waves transcended across a 10 meter expanse in all directions at the speed of sound itself. Unless the woman held some method to which prevents her from hearing sound, she would have been rendered paralyzed with induced vomiting and a severe loss in balance.

Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Description: Kyoumeisen is a specialized ninjutsu technique which uses sound waves created by the Sound Wave Amplifier to disrupt a persons inner ear. After the amplifier releases sound waves either through movement or after it has been struck, the user manipulates their chakra to move the waves directly into the inner ear of their opponent, surpassing the limits of human tolerance greatly. By disrupting it in this manner, the victim loses their sense of balance and will likely vomit. Even if the opponent has their ears plugged, the user can direct the sound through their body - because the body is 70% water, it conducts the sound just as well. This allows the sound waves to still reach the inner ear, regardless of obstruction.

Perhaps had it not been for the fact that I was highly anticipating his bones to break by the might of my fist, I’d have noticed exactly what happened- But sadly, I couldn’t have anticipated what he truly did, and his movements rendered me slightly baffled as to where he’d have gone- However the soon dropping of the hefty log that the puff of smoke was concealed in bore the signs of only one thing- ..Kawamiri? a very basic technique- If anything it pissed me off that my attack was dodged by something so.. so rubbish. It was an insult, an insult to me. With him having now moved about, knowing the technique myself I was perfectly aware of the fact that it had a very short distance- Five meters at the most if I could recall. And as such, it only required me to turn my body to look about in order to find his form cloaked between the trees-

he removed the kunai from his mouth and tapped it upon his Dosu Kinuta with ample force.

However by the time I caught sight of his miserable form it was already too late- Sound waves corrupted my very being and ripped through my body, causing my stomach to jolt and twist along with a sudden impending headache as my eyes blurred and contorted- I wasn’t sure what the fuck he’d just used, although I could have only guessed that it was ototon or wind. Being able to use both, it came to me that it was some branch of ototon that had been casted- And it seemed endless. Clinging to the earth, I grounded my feet to prevent myself from toppling over- The headache was enough for now, and I owed that little bitch a kick to the teeth. However with the current situation I was in, I was unable to do so..

..but then I found my vision clearing, and my headache slowly fading as then, a burst of chakra from my legs sent me ten meters backwards, albeit a little bit off course due to my fading dissorientation, but I soon found myself 13 meters away from my opponent, with his form five meters to my right at the total distance away, leaving him at an angle. My left hand ever so gently held on to the hilt of my dear Samehada. What would he do next?

I waited, and analyzed his form, my view clear through the trees.

Special: Induces extreme visual-altering dizziness, loss of balance that bans any movement outside of walking, and a sense of nausea - all of this results in the victim's paralysis. Affects enemies as well as allies equally. Highest rank known determines the severity of the above effects. Effects do not stack.

Description: Kyoumeisen is a specialized ninjutsu technique which uses sound waves created by the Sound Wave Amplifier to disrupt a persons inner ear. After the amplifier releases sound waves either through movement or after it has been struck, the user manipulates their chakra to move the waves directly into the inner ear of their opponent, surpassing the limits of human tolerance greatly. By disrupting it in this manner, the victim loses their sense of balance and will likely vomit. Even if the opponent has their ears plugged, the user can direct the sound through their body - because the body is 70% water, it conducts the sound just as well. This allows the sound waves to still reach the inner ear, regardless of obstruction.

He'd have been a complete fool had he not taken advantage in light of his success; as his ototon sound wave infiltrated his opponents ears and disrupted the function of her very body, he quickly sprung into action. He leapt off the side of the tree itself and landed upon the ground roughly 2 meters away from Blanches right flank, right foot forward. His knees once he landed to absorb the shock and concurrently used that force to propel him forward with a ample push of his leading foot. That push allowed him to advance a single meter in what seemed to be an instant where he then placed him within hands reach of her body. Meanwhile, that same right hand charged itself with the powers of the Akadou clan which carried a potent state of paralysis that greatly exceeded the temporary effects of his Dosu Kinuta.

"There!"

He mused silently while his right hand lunched forward with a open palm and fingers. With about a second to spare, his right hand gripped around Blanche's right forearm with his Chakra absorption technique and Chakra paralysis technique taking effect immediately. Not only would she have been rendered paralyzed as long as that right hand remained in contact with her own body, but High amounts of chakra began to drain from her reserves at an alarming rate. He was confident in his attempted success, however, the were was a slim possibility that missing could happen and he knew if that would have happened, then his entire plan would have to be reconstructed from the ground up.

Chakra: Mid to activate - D & C grant Low per turn // B & A grant Mid per turn // S grants High per turn.
Special: Highest jutsu rank determines amount of chakra transfered per use. Chakra leeching can occur on any surface, living or non-living, as long as it contains chakra. The jutsu stays in effect once activated with no additional cost, until either cancelled by the user, or until chakra is molded for another technique. In order for leeching to succeed, contact with the victim must be established for at least a few seconds. Keep in mind that while Akadou can absorb chakra from anything, they can still be overwhelmed by it, as well as receive its side-effects (for example, you can't put your hands to a Raiton shield-type jutsu and expect to absorb anything without getting shocked.)
Description: The root of all Akadou jutsu, Chakra Kyuuin no Jutsu is a special ninjutsu techinque used to quickly extract a victim's chakra for the purpose of using it for oneself . After activitating the technique, the user's hands will glow a neon-blue color, the sign of reverse-flow chakra. As they place their palm on their opponent's body, or any chakra surface for that matter, they can proceed to withdraw the physical and spiritual energy out of them. By reducing the opponents chakra, it greatly increases their overall advantage in battle.

• Chakra Ichida no Jutsu (Chakra Paralysis Technique)

  Type: Offensive / Ninjutsu / Secret Technique
  Range: Hand's reach.
  Chakra: High per turn. ---> Low
  Special: Paralysis lasts as long as the user's hands are on the opponent.
  Description: With this variation of 'Chakra Kyuuin', the Akadou finally learns to enhance the potency of their special chakra, to the point it renders their victim's useless midst leeching. Rather than just provide discomfort through absorption, the victim will now be forcefully paralyzed while being touched unless they can provide a chakra surge larger than the one overtaking them.
  Domain: Akadou. Must know 'Chakra Kyuuin B'.

What fleeting sense of paralysation wasn’t something that I could break out of easily even as a medic- With his hand coming in to contact with my skin and the familiar seeping feeling coming out of my very pores, I knew very well what he had done to me- But was it all fair, for me to go down like this, by the hands of another family member? I’d been unsure of what to think of it at the moment but I was fairly aware that he had won- this time. Whatever would happen next, I was unsure of, although despite the inability to move that I was now getting, I simply look back at his face with what entertained smirk I had on my face. I greeted death like an old friend; However, should he have spared me life, that would be alright as well.

As his hand landed upon his stunned victim, he knew that she knew it was the beginning of the end. With her chakra leaving her reserves swiftly, she was also paralyzed, and although the look on her face had not been one stricken with fear, there was only room for acceptance at this point. That kunai wedged within the palm, held like a sword, uplifted and pressed against the woman's throat. His hand moved across to create a light surface cut along her neck, enough to draw blood but nothing that would have harmed her. Masuyo always had a soft spot for Kunoichi as they reminded him of his sister who he so desperately wanted to save. She could have also been someones sister, and for that and that alone, he spared her life.

"It's Over. . ."

He said softly as he withdrew his kunai and released the grip from her arm, letting her live another day. Masuyo saw nothing wrong with both parties frmo a conflict walking away alive, if anything it only created grounds for a warranted rematch.
