◀ Abilities
Tsubame Fubuki (Swallow Snow Storm)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Cost: Multi
Description: This technique creates a cluster of ice needles from either an ice or water source in the shape of miniature swallows, which the user then launches at the opponent. These needles can change direction in midair and will maim the opponent with their sharp wings. This technique can be countered by a strong enough use of Katon chakra, which in turn melts the ice.
Hyōken no Jutsu (Ice Sword Technique)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Cost: Multi
Description: By condensing the moisture from a nearby water source, the user can create weapons in the form of swords of ice that can then be used for close-range combat, or even shot at a target. While they cannot be controlled flight wise once shot, they can be formed from a distance, making it a very versatile surprise attack. This technique can be countered by a strong enough use of Katon chakra, which in turn melts the ice.
Mangehyō (Ten Thousand Ice Petals)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Cost: Multi
Description: By condensing the moisture from a nearby water source, the user unleashes a barrage of ice darts. The intensity of the cold is so great, that should a person attempt to block them, it will cause severe damage to the afflicted limb, and potentially momentarily paralysis due to being partially frozen. The hardness of the ice itself along with its momentum is dangerous. Unlike the Ice Sword technique, while this cannot be formed anywhere in a vicinity, the darts travel at a much faster speed, making it a more direct, frontal attack, but one that is harder to dodge.
Yuki Hosoku Tougen (Frozen Capture Field)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Supplementary
Cost: Sustained
Description: Using the moisture found within the ground and/or from a nearby water source, the user freezes the ground underneath a target to immobilize and freeze their feet, rendering them motionless for a period of time. This technique spreads out from the user in a circular radius, and moves at impressive speeds.
Saihyōken (Ice Breaking Fist)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Cost: Sustained
Description: By concentrating their Hyuton chakra into their hands, the user condenses the moisture from a nearby water source and surrounds their fist with a strong sheet of ice that is intended to both incoming physical attacks, as well as enhance the user's striking ability. This can also be used to neutralize certain localized elemental attacks, but the added weight does make the user's movements with their arms slightly slower. Still, upon impact, the added weight of the ice creates extra damage.
Rōga Nadare no Jutsu (Wolf Fang Avalanche Technique)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive
Cost: Multi
Description: Although this technique is dependent on location, as it requires the presence of a snowy mountain, it is nonetheless effective when used properly. With this technique, the user can cause an avalanche when near a mountain and transform the falling snow into a pack of wolves that proceeded to chase and attack the opponent. Although the wolves can be destroyed with the proper techniques when approaching, if they strike their intended target, they can still deal a considerable amount of damage.
Hyourou no Jutsu (Ice Prison Technique)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Cost: Sustained
Description: This technique allows the user to infuse their chakra with ice found on the ground, or even from a water source, and bring it to the surface at impressive speeds. The user can then trap their opponent within the ice by controlling its movements and completely surrounding them in the ice. It is strong enough to withstand basic Katon techniques, because the ice has already been infused with the user's chakra. The user can also surround themselves with the ice prison to act as a shield.
Jisarenhyō (Consecutive Chains of Ice)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Cost: Sustained
Description: With this technique, after obtaining moisture from a nearby water source, through physical contact the user causes ice particles to form on a target. If used on a living creature, the target will begin to freeze to death unless they are able to mold chakra in order to counter the effects. By coating themselves with chakra and dedicating all their energy to keeping themselves warm, the victim can avoid eventual death by freezing, but if they break this defense and attempt to use their chakra to perform a technique, they will start to rapidly freeze again. This technique was designed to neutralize a target, although if an ally is nearby, the effects can easily be dispelled by either damaging the Hyouton user, or by using various methods to interfere with the freezing effects.
Suishōheki (Ice Crystal Walls)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Cost: Standard
Description: Using either a pre-existing ice source, or a nearby water source, the user creates giant randomized walls out of ice crystals meant to detain their opponents in an icy maze. Not only is the maze cold, the walls can cause freezing effects upon contact, and if the victim remains within the maze for too long, they will suffer the long terms effects of hypothermia.
Haryuu Mouko (Destruction Tiger Fierce Dragon)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive
Cost: Sustained
Description: The user manipulates pre-existing ice and forms it into a giant tiger, or creates one from a nearby water source. The giant tiger can attack with power due to its icy husk, is quite durable to most attacks, and is cold enough to freeze any Suiton technique that it comes into contact with.
Kokuryū Bōfūsetsu (Black Dragon Blizzard)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive
Cost: Sustained (head strike) / Multi (shards)
Description: One of the fiercest Hyuton techniques, it gets its name from the natural occurring phenomenon of black ice in nature, where many have periled due to its dangerous factor. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will thrust their arm to send out a large black ether-like dragon from either pre-existing ice or a nearby water source to strike their opponent with swift ferocity. As it flies through the air, it will begin to turn. When it hits the target it will use its motion to launch the opponent high into the air, exploding on impact, sending violent shards of black ice everywhere in a shrapnel like effect. The size of this dragon head is enough to take down medium sized structures, and larger creatures as well.
Sōryū Bōfūsetsu (Twin Dragon Blizzard)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive
Cost: Sustained
Description: This technique is considered to be a follow up to the Black Dragon Blizzard, and one that is known to devastate an entire area. One the first dragon is launched with the previous technique, the user proceeds to launch a second which merges together to form a violent and abhorrently destructive tornado of black ice and snow. This tornado is massive, can destroy an entire area, and carries destructive winds, flying shrapnel of black ice, and freezing cold temperatures that can rendered areas hit directly momentarily frozen. However, once launched, the user has no control over the tornado, and it will rage on and about indiscriminately. Only the strongest of attacks - especially those based in some form of fire - stand a chance of dissipating this hellish tornado.
Ikkaku Hakugei (One Horned White Whale)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Cost: Standard
Description: One of the strongest Hyouton attacks, this technique allows the user to create a humongous ice whale with a long narwhal horn to attack their opponent. Although due to its size, the user needs a source of either ice or water in order to use this technique, the large bulk of this technique is capable of creating great destruction upon landing. On impact, it creates a great concussive force, shattering and creating enough ice to blanket the field for future Hyouton techniques.
