All Hyakujuu originate from Oni no Kuni. While members of the family may reproduce outside of the country's border, they will not be considered members of the family until they are taken to Oni no Kuni to be recognized by the family's elders. While the main HQ is hidden well beneath the base of a mountain, there is one specific post which has resonated well amongst the members of the family. Located in Hi no Kuni, on the outskirts of the Noble Castle City, the family has created a vast estate capable of holding many of its members who might happen to need to pass through the country when traveling. While no where near a base of operations, it has become a commonplace area for many of the members to meet their relatives, and exchange stories.

Hierarchy:

Despite an incredibly brash temperament, the Hyakujuu have an incredible respect for their elders. Operating on a system sustained by age more so than power or legend, all members hastily refer to their elders as 'sir' or 'madam,' regardless of how powerful the younger may be. This has been the extent to which order is sustained within the family. By simply stating ones age, it will assert the appropriate amount of respect, as long as both parties are members of the family. Other than this small hinge associated with age, every thing else that the family hinges on is power. If age is not mentioned or asserted from one family member to the other, then all members will have a bout in order to assert who is in charge. This is to ensure that there is a defined power within the party, as well as assuring that no members of the family can be considered 'weak.' This process is not gender-biased, and will include women as well as men.

Limits:

The Hyakujuu are incredibly particular when it comes to blood relation. One cannot be inducted or married in to the clan. Instead, they must be related by blood. This goes without saying that there is an incredible amount of incest within the family, and members are urged to eventually settle down with either their siblings or cousins of the same age. While this may produce many children who are either deformed or mentally unfit, they are dealt with as trash, solidifying that those who come out 'normal,' are the pick of the crop, and have been fated to live. Moreover, considering that there are three main sections of the family, this also leaves opportunity for very interesting mixes of the family's blood. With the blood of the Hoshigake, Kage-Hebi and Kaguya mixed almost evenly within the family, they are instantly classified as 'beasts' or 'demons.' This also prevents anyone from any of the three Kekkai Genkai to enter the family, as their blood has not been mixed in with the other three. Though it has been heard of for a Hyakujuu to adopt an outsider, this bastard child will not be allowed to carry the name of the family, or reproduce with members of the family.

Unique Features:

As previously stated, the Hyakujuu are a mixture of Hoshigake, Kage-Hebi and Kaguya. It is incredibly rare for a member of the family to be without the skills that one of the three clans possess. It is also for this reason that none of them appear to be normal humans. Possessing an augmented pigment from the Hoshigake, a snake-like appearance from the Kage-Hebi or visible bone difference from the Kaguya, they are very clearly noticeable. However, what makes one of these members stand out, would be the flashy personalities, flamboyant clothing, and more often than not, the 'horns of power,' that all 'adults' of the clan bear. Considered to be a symbol of the family's abilities, every youth is sent out to hunt a deadly beast, and bring it back to prove one's power. The claws or fangs of the beast usually are made in to a headdress that the Hyakujuu wears daily, and the coat of the beast is often made into clothing for the Hyakujuu to wear. For this reason, animal prints with the clan's symbol stitched into the back are often seen as a beacon for a Hyakujuu as opposed to a Hoshigake, Kage-Hebi or Kaguya.

History:

ARC I: BEHIND THE EYES OF OBLIVION
As a man sit stranded, alone, amongst a sea of corpses, torn and ripped apart by the everlasting and eternal bonds of combat, he realizes that there is no escape. It's a depressing thought at first; to never escape the river of blood that flooded these once beautiful plains. Resting atop a mound of corpses, his legs would support two elbows that would hold two distinct things within his grasp. In one hand would rest a large white bottle, and in the other, a massive spiked hammer would stand far above his hunched over position. One of the few places in the Land of Iron in which the summer season wasn't still cold, this battle had taken place to determine who exactly would remain Daimyou of the country. Not many people aside from these lords were specific in their choice. It was a matter of money, really. An endless amount of mercenaries would join arms in battle, with little room for honor, or loyalty. Having denounced the use of ninja, this time was a clearly different than the modern days in which ninjas were a majority military source. Instead, it would be the use corpses of a few samurai and a lot of ronin that would litter these plains. The man who sat alone, accompanied only by his dripping bottle of wine, and his bloody, stained hammer would be the last of them. A ronin with no master, bound only by the payment in which he had received from one of the scumbags who had hired him, awaiting the time for reinforcements to challenge his contract once again. It was this man, the son of a harbor master that would remain. It was this strength, this blood that would fuel every man and woman that would spread from his seed. A name which was not of his own, but instead what his enemies referred to him as 'Hyakujuu; the beast.'

Being of a specific blood, the power of this man knew no bounds. Bones made of iron, and two thick horns which protruded from his forehead, he appeared as though a demon. Wearing the bright red robes of his family's name, he knew nothing but the thrill of battle, and the pleasure of another man's demise. He would rape most women he crossed, pillaging their homes upon his departure. Having birthed many children that he would never meet, it was his only known child that would stick with him for the rest of this days. After the war had ceased, and he was no longer needed to bear arms, he would take many wives into his house. Infatuated with the power of foreign nations, he would make a collection of rare blood, spreading his seed amongst their lot. However, only two of his wives would remain clever, or powerful enough to withstand him. As such, they would remain close. After his eventual passing, the wives would band together, using their sons and daughters to bear more children, and maintain the power needed to survive away from the land that had been cursed by war, and their father's blood. Known only as the 'twin mothers,' these two women remain sacred in the eyes of the Hyakujuu, and are considered the saviors of the clan.

The clan has since evolved into a vast, and powerful family. Having a very social, and history driven time line, the lot of them are driven to battle by pure bloodlust. Raised in a culture of violence, there isn't a single trade that the family partakes in that isn't associated with battle. While some of them have a strong sense of duty, later becoming samurai, many of them find the dark advantages of their power, and engage in underhanded activities; eventually working for various Yakuza syndicates and in some rare occasions, ninja villages. While the history of the family is incredibly basic, it holds the constant possibility for change... and change is on its way.

Those who obtain the higher levels of this art always appear to be extremely muscular and hulking in appearance, showcasing their hidden strength. With this attribute in mind, it is wise of the practitioners of this style to understand patience, as well as the responsibilities that come with such power.

Then, once the technique comes into contact with the user of this technique, their iron-clad muscle sustains the damage like a suit of armor, preventing the user from being affected in any way. However, if the opponent is struck on the head, the technique will not cause paralysis, and the target will instead be inflicted with a slight headache.

DESCRIPTION Shindou Hirate, a deadly palm thrust known for determining the fate of battles. The user gathers strength in their hand, preparing the assault once close enough to the opponent. Once within a hand-reach distance, the user thrusts their palm into the chest of the opponent, the sudden strike causing abnormal functioning in their lungs, which forces the opponent to lack proper breathing and hinders their speed severely. The following knockback is just the after-effect of the user's incredible strength, and can cause other damaging effects to the target's body as well.

DESCRIPTION Satsujin Hiza, a incredible knee strike that is quite unpredictable due to it's shallow position. Though normally performed while securing a tight grip on the target, the blow can truly be initiated from any position, as long as the momentum is sustained. The user gathers strength in their feet and legs, power building before pushing their kneecap into the opponent, the damage inflicted capable of being extremely effective if not defended against. As stated earlier, due to the rising knee being commonly initiated from the ground, the opponent's chances of recognizing the strike before it connects is quite slim if the user is close and agile enough.

DESCRIPTION An effective aerial attack, the user first begins to maneuver to their opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. While shadowing them, the user will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. First, they will strike as a feint in order to draw their target's attention and defense to one area. Then, a true strike is made towards the most undefended area, proceeded by several more until the user violently begins knocking them down and towards the ground. ▼ PHYSIQUE;
Human body shape is a complex phenomenon with sophisticated detail and function. The general shape or figure of a person is defined mainly by the molding of skeletal structures, as well as the distribution of muscles and fat. Skeletal structure grows and changes only up to the point at which a human reaches adulthood and remains essentially the same for rest of his or her life.

[/u][/b] body; Tadakatsu's body oozes the physique of Adonis. With almost flawless features, his years of absence have proven to be very beneficial for his shape and power. With muscles that are almost iron in their density, and a toning that reveals each and every one of them perfectly, there is no doubt about his work out regiment. Having a very controlled diet, Tadakatsu can easily be considered a health freak. Balancing his meals to a tee, he does not ingest anything without properly surveying the ingredients first. From meals, to snacks to libations, everything is surveyed thoroughly, giving many the impression that Tadakatsu is suffering from OCD. While a possibility of it being true, it has obviously worked out for him quite well so far. Not going a single day without indulging his training regiment as well, Tadakatsu suffers through an intense core work out that effectively works every muscle which would be effective in combat.

χ features; Tadakatsu is by far the tallest member of the Honda family aside form his gargantuan father. While not a single member of the Honda family stands under six feet, Tadakatsu stands at least three inches taller than his older brother. However, aside from their height difference, the two also share different eye and hair colors. With a dull brown hue, Tadakatsu's hair is the exact same as his fathers before graying. His eyes are also the same color, being a vibrant golden hue, which makes the family easily resemble a pack of wolves, to which many refer to them as in secrecy. Other than his unusual features, Tadakatsu is easily referred to as handsome by most. With an almost chilling smile, he has an air of 'cool' to him that comes off smoothly with every word spoken, every glance shared and every movement captured. With a maintained hairdo, it is obvious that he takes effort in to his looks in order to make him self more appealing. Whether he does this in vain or for business has yet to be discovered however. His voice is very soothing, and considerably deep, often being compared to that of the devil by his sister, who despite the reference loves to hear it.

χ additional; Tadakatsu has no significant scars or tattoos which have altered his body. In fact the only thing that really makes Tadakatsu stand out from the average man is a small golden ring that sits silently on his right, middle finger. An incredibly simple ring, it holds nothing significant about it other than the symbol of The Rengoku Organization etched in to it. . [/ul]

Fashion is a general term for a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, or furniture. "Fashion" refers to a distinctive; however, often-habitual trend in a look and dress up of a person, as well as to prevailing styles in behavior. "Fashion" usually is the newest creations made by designers and are bought by only a few number of people; however, often those "fashions" are translated into more established trends. The more technical term, "costume," has become so linked in the public eye with the term "fashion" that the more general term "costume" has in popular use mostly been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while the term "fashion" means clothing generally, and the study of it. [/u][/b] formal attire; Much like all Rengoku employees, Tadakatsu wears a typical suit to work. In complete distaste to the color black, he instead wears a slightly varied variation of the outfit. Instead of wearing the common, drab uniform of the company, he instead often wears either a slim fitting ivory suit. With flat front pants that rest directly at his ankles, he is also often seen sporting a matching waistcoat, with a powder blue shirt, and a slim, yellow tie. However, it has also been noted that Tadakatsu has sometimes been seen wearing a short collared white shirt with no tie with this suit as well. With an unconventional, short collared jacket that is often buttoned all the way to the top button, his all white ensemble is matched easily by his patent leather shoes that are often accompanied by mocha socks. A custom made gift given to him by Mr. Kazuki, it is his favorite suit, and is only worn during official business, such as board meetings or anything of the like.

χ casual attire; Tadakatsu is rarely seen wearing anything but white. When not called to wear something completely formal, he dons a slightly more casual outfit to sport around the office; he will often be seen sporting clothing that is reminiscent to the style that his father once wore. Dressing like the man that he admires most, he will often be seen sporting a slim fitting oxford with the collar buttoned down. As usual, he often wears slim fitting slacks with yellow socks and white, leather bucks. Far from flashy, the only real accessory that Tadakatsu sports when wearing this outfit will be a subtle gold watch, a gift he received on his 10th birthday, that Mr. Kazuki has held on to since his departure.

χ typical attire; The most common outfit Tadakatsu wears is his least formal. When outside of the office, he will often be seen wearing this- often traveling from country to country or when simply wishing to stay a bit more incognito. Sporting thick mocha brogues, thin yellow socks and slim white denim, Tadakatsu's style shines clearly in this well selected, and functional outfit. With a hem that falls just below his ankle, and his shirt constantly tucked in to his five-pocket jeans, he oozes 'fashionable playboy' with every step taken. Sporting a white oxford, a matching mocha belt a pair of aviator sunglasses, he also has a slight flare in his accessory choice. The monogramming of the shirt, however, is often hidden by the white double breasted sports coat that Tadakatsu wears when in chillier climate. When not sporting the jacket, he unbuttons a few buttons and rolls his sleeves directly beneath his elbow, exposing the thin gold watch with matching mocha wristband. [/ul]

Honda Tadakatsu is the son of 'Iron Honda' Warui, and as such has been raised with impeccable manners, poise and confidence. Being the third son of his mother, and the fifth son of his fathers, he has managed a very special relationship with both his father and mother. These relationships, being a rarity given the constant wartime separations that many families endure. However, with this family, etiquette classes and a number of friends who have all had the same privileges, Tadakatsu is very grounded, and yet knows what it takes to succeed.

[/u][/b] polite; A complete gentleman, Tadakatsu has retained his manners despite his plunge into the wilderness. Never calling anyone anything but their name, never cutting anyone off, and always complimenting a lady he knows exactly who deserves his respect, and who deserves his pity. While far from generous, he understands that every new encounter is a chance to invest. For that reason, he is eager to make friends with just about anyone willing to endure him. It is for that reason that he loves to show affection to many that he meets with his popular catchphrase that his family often mocks him for: "It's been lovely."

χ apathetic; Aside from having fun with his own politeness, Tadakatsu is also very prone to showing his business side quite quickly. When presented with any option, he will constantly take the road that betters both his profit, and the profit of the company. This leaves him often very apathetic about anything that will not do just that. If there is no profit to be made, and there is no reason to invest, Tadakatsu could care less about it. This also makes him very hastily deemed 'heartless' by those that do not show their worth to him. However, never making any decision to hastily, Tadakatsu can often change his mind about someone, and will act appropriately when discovering that they are in fact worth his time, and can benefit him in some way.

χ mystifying; Tadakatsu has always been mysterious to just about everyone that has ever known him, aside from his father, to whom which he shared much with. However, after his departure, he has returned only more mysterious. As though a blessing, he treats the world as though he has never experienced it before, and as such is very charismatic. Easily catching the attention of most that see him, he loves conversation, but is very cautious about revealing information about himself. Instead, he would much rather learn about others as to decide whether or not they can become profitable. If worth his time, Tadakatsu will treat anyone as though they are his best friend, offering them things to sustain their happiness, making jokes etc. If not? Then he will only be more eerie, and will hold off on sharing any such moments, making him all the more enigmatic to those he has yet to converse with. [/ul]

While appearing to be a rich play boy on the outside, the inner clockwork of a man such as Honda Tadakatsu is not easily to comprehend. Hiding many of his true feelings from the world, Tadakatsu is an uncompromising, analytical machine of a man. While not devoid of emotion, he is very driven, and while it is rarely obvious, it is very evident when witnessing many of his decisions and experiences.

[/u][/b] sociopathic; Having been declared a genius during his youth, Tadakatsu has retained a remarkable intelligence throughout his years. Having an eidetic memory, he has no qualms being able to place names, faces, documents or information where it belongs, and using it to his advantage. Rarely ever forgetting any experience, it was this ability which made him incredibly valuable to the organization, and why it was such a shock for him to leave. However, with his genius, Tadakatsu was accompanied by the ever-necessary lust of control that comes with most people with high IQs. While never losing his cool, Tadakatsu often treats people as puzzle pieces, and nothing more. Fitting them in to places that he feels that need to be, he has no remorse for manipulating them to do what he wants. Whether it be 'friends,' 'family,' or 'enemies,' he is quick to assess who can do what for him, and how effective they will be at doing it.

χ messianic; With Tadakatsu's complex comes yet another. While hiding it incredibly well, his ability to control others has lead him to developing an awful god-complex. While never considering himself anything above humanity, he does recognize the hold he has over people with his personality and his mind. This has developed into something almost sinister. Believing himself as the savior of the free market, he has grown incredibly ambitious, and because of that seeks to change the world with ideals of financial monopoly until The Rengoku Organization eventually holds control over all free market channels, giving them control over peace, war and profitability. While this is a prevalent issue, and influences all of his decisions, he has only ever shared his dream with his father... who just so happens to agree with him whole-heartedly.

χ proud; Aside from being proud of his gifts, Tadakatsu is also incredibly proud of his lineage. Being a member of a very powerful family, he never lets himself forget it. While never bragging about his surname, he never allows himself to compromise. Having seen his family endure the shame of a failure before, he cannot endure the thought of bringing shame back to his family by his own hand. This limits him significantly, it also empowers him- making sure that he never make a decision to hurt either the company, or his father's name.. [/ul]

While they have not been in constant communication, Tadakatsu has kept in touch with his father and his father alone during his absence from the company.
