'I need to catch three more fishes and I have completed my very first mission!' thought the female while she tried to attach the bait on the hook. "Auch!" said Yuki when she pricked herself with the hook; the sharp part had graced her left index finger. She licked away the blood before she threw her arm back, holding in the green button.
The girl sent her arm forwards seconds before her right thumb let go of the green button. A tiny 'plipp' could be heard when the hook sank into the water once more.

'Now...I have to wait again' thought the Genin while she sat down on the soft green grass on the ground. She wondered if all of her missions as a low-ranked shinobi would be this boring. 'But I don't have a team yet; perhaps I can do more exciting stuff if I have a team with a sensei' thought the female as she looked at the water.
'Eh, what am I thinking! I'm on my first mission yet and the Raikage won't sign me up for scary missions before I've done some more!' thought the brunette.

"I think you've got something kid" said a man next to her while he pointed on the fishing rod in her hands. She looked at it and noticed that there was something pulling on the other end of the wire-like thing on the rod.
The girl got up and spun the handle while she pulled the rod slightly backwards. 'I think this one is a bit smaller than the last one' thought Yuki as the fish came closer and closer. In the other end of the fishing rod was a small salmon that was a little less than 1 foot long.

'Ah Kami...I hope I get something bigger next time' thought the female before she laid the salmon together with the catfish. Perhaps it was time to change the fishing spot since there were only two fishes left to catch?
'I need some bigger ones; maybe I should go a little further down' thought the Genin before she picked up her equipment. She then found a place next to a woman who had caught two medium-sized salmons, which was a good sign. The girl removed the lid of the 'bait box' and picked up one of the worms with a grimace on her face.

'Here we go again!' thought the brunette while she carefully pierced the hook through the poor worm that would end up as fish bait. The hook ended in the water seconds later, but the throw was a bit better than the other two.
'Looks like I'm getting better at this' thought the female with a smile as she sat down on the soft ground below her. She adjusted her hitai-ate while her ice-blue eyes looked at the fishing rod with intent...she hoped to get a bigger fish. What type of fish would be the next one to bite on her hook?

Small hands grabbed the rod when something started to pull the hook; this fish seemed larger than the other one. 'Kami-sama, PLEASE DON'T LET THE WIRE SNAP IN TWO!' prayed Yuki when she tried to haul in the fish on the other end.
This one was quite a bit larger than the other two she had caught since it was a lot harder to pull in the hook. "Gggggh!" said the girl as she tried to win the tug-o-war with the other fish. She managed to get the fish onto the shore...it was a large salmon that was 2 feet long!

"If I were you, I would have grabbed the fish now before it gets into the water" said the woman next to her. The Genin shunshined [1/2] down to the shore before she grabbed the salmon's tail with both hands to prevent it to escape.
"Yatta!" said the female as she laid the wiggling giant fish into the bucket with the other two. She picked up the last worm, but had a smile on her face. One more fish and the mission was finished!

"I'm fine. Just watch where you're going" said the woman that had bumped into Yuki. "OK" said the female before she decided to go to the mission compound. It was time for her to get some missions on her belt so she could rise in the ranks.

Kagura shingan (Kagura mind's eye).
Rank: "D", "C", "B" Rank.
Type: Supplementary/sensory ninjutsu.
Range: 0 - 50 meters.
Handseals: Yes [1].
Chakra: Very low - very high.
Special: Determines the range at which they can detect chakra, whether it comes from person, animal or even object, By closing their eyes and forming a simple seal, the world of chakra around the user becomes unveiled. Upon learing the "S" ranked version, the user will no longer have to close their eyes nor form handseals to activate. Highest rank known also determines detection time, as well as the amount of chakra-related masteries needed in order for that level of Kagura to be reached. Keep in mind chakra masteries do not need to be from the same group; as long as it has chakra, any form of ninjutsu mastery (from releases to clan jutsu) will do.

D: Full turn detection delay/1 mastery.
C: 3/4th of a turn/2 masteries.
B: Half a turn/3 masteries.

Description: Kagura shingan is an advanced sensory ninjutsu technique used by all sensors, and serves as the root to the entire sensory tree. After a series of handseals, the sensor closes their eyes and uses their inate ability to detect chakra in order to determine the location of their opponent by the faintest of chakra trails, as well as discerning the size of an approaching unseen force, and even their chakra capacity.

Chakra: Very low - very high [only when detection occurs!].
Special: Allows the sensor to detect when a genjutsu has been casted upon them. Highest rank known determines level of detectable genjutsu. Cannot stop pain genjutsu.
Description: With this enhancement to Kagura shingan, the sensor is now able to detect the difference in chakra signatures, discerning illusionary threats that have been cast upon them. While this does not automatically break an illusion, it allows the sensor the knowledge of revealing hidden traps so that they can quickly escape the situation.

Type: Supplementary/sensory ninjutsu.

Special: Allows the Sensor to determine whether a particular target is lying or not by the chakra fluctuations triggered.
Description: Once the sensor begins to understand how to properly mold and detect their chakra, they will learn to look into the specifics of others. With this technique, a sensor is able to detect a truth from a lie by observing the way the chakra waves fluctuate within the one being interrogated. An excellent shinobi tool.

Special: Allows the sensor to suppress their chakra so that other sensors or even chakra sensing vision cannot spot them.
Description: With this enhancement to Kagura shingan, the sensor is now able to block out their chakra signal, so that other methods of chakra detection cannot trace them. While they remain nonetheless visible, without a chakra trail the sensor is free to move about stealthily without having fear of getting caught.

Special: Allows the sensor to detect different elements. Each time re-learned, a new elemental signature is acquired. Description: With this enhancement to Kagura shingan, the sensor is now able to detect the difference in chakra signatures, discerning elemental threats by their appropriate colors, even even sensing elemental handseal sequences for proper anticipation.

Description: Kai is a ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
Domain: Universal ninjutsu.

Shunshin no jutsu (Body flicker technique). Can do it 5 times per day.
Rank: "D" Rank.
Type: Supplementary/ninjutsu.
Range: 0 - 10 meters.
Special: Flickering is forward-moving, meaning the user will rush almost instantly to wherever they are facing. The user can flicker once per thread, plus once more each time retrained.
Description: Shunshin no jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

Shunshin-kakezori (Retracting flicker).
Rank: "B" Rank.
Type: Passive/ninjutsu/high-speed movement.
Range: Shunshin.
Chakra: --
Special: Gives the user the option to perform shunshin backwards.
Description: Although shunshin is normally executed in a linear fashion towards the direction the user is facing, with enough training, the user is able to move perfectly opposite to wherever it is they are looking - that is, a backwards body flicker. Its usefulness is limitless, and carry the same rules as the parent technique.
Domain: Shunshin.

Shunshin-kawasu (Shimmering flicker).
Rank: "B" Rank.
Type: Passive/ninjutsu.
Range: Shunshin.
Special: Gives the user the option to side-step, curve, shimmy or even shimmer on a whim during a shunshin, rather than remaining moving forward. Sidestep distance takes away from the shunshin's total traveling distance.
Description: Although shunshin is normally executed in a linear fashion, with enough training, the ninja can learn to limit their forward travel speed in exchange for a near-instantaneous sideways move. Useful when evading tricky attacks, or when wishing to confuse opponents.
Domain: Shunshin.

Kawarimi no jutsu (Body replacement technique). Can do it 4 times per day.
Rank: "E" Rank.
Type: Supplementary/ninjutsu.
Range: 0 - 5 meters.
Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. When first learned, kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. Can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Henge no jutsu (Transformation technique).
Rank: "E" Rank.
Type: Supplementary/ninjutsu.
Range: Self.
Special: Allows the user to transform into any person, object or animal of normal/small/miniature size. Transformation can be held for one turn, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Henge no jutsu is a very basic ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at their respective village's Shinobi academy. Henge allows the user to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.
Domain:Academy student ninjutsu.

Bunshin no jutsu (Clone technique). Can make 2 clones.
Rank: "E" Rank.
Type: Supplementary/ninjutsu.
Range: Self.
Special: Allows the user to create a clone without substance that resembles the user in every way, including retaining its movement speed. Clones cannot mold chakra nor perform jutsu, nor can they harm. Up to one clone can be made, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Bunshin no jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja academy. The bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance that, although easily seen through by those with doujutsu, can fool the normal eye easily. Why? Simply because although without substance, the copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent, though no real damage can be done by it. Finally, as soon the bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Kakuremino no Jutsu (Magic cloak of invisibility technique).

Type: Supplementary/ninjutsu.

Special: No other technique may be used while creeping.
Description: Kakuremino no jutsu is a very basic ninjutsu technique. The ninja uses a camouflage cloth to cloak themselves in the background.

Nawanuke no jutsu (Escaping skill).

Type: Supplementary/ninjutsu.

Special: Ineffective against complex, electronic or unique binds.
Description: Nawanuke no jutsu is a very basic ninjutsu technique that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.

Consumption - Chakra Reduction I.

Chakra mastery allows the user excellent control over the chakra they use, how it's molded, and ultimately, how much is used, so much so that they can lower the chakra consumption of all mastery jutsu. When first learned, the user can cast jutsu of the mastery class for one chakra consumption tier less than normal. Each time re-acquired, cost continues to drop by one less tier each time.

Senkusha no magen (Harbinger of the demon illusion).

Special: Allows the user the ability to create, control and move Inton (Yin) chakra of their own for multiple purposes. Range of illusion control and projection depends on the highest rank known.

Description: Inton, the yin release, is based on the spiritual energy that governs the imagination and can be used to create form out of nothingness. At at mere whim, yin release masters are able to convince their targets that they are actually seeing or experiencing things created by the illusionist. Precise chakra control is a must with this art and proper training clears the avenue for other techniques to be learned, still they all rely on one founding principle - the user's ability to cause hallucinations from a distance.

Description: An essential passive genjutsu skill, this represents the user's ability to manipulate illusionary chakra and the amount targets it can affect. The more and more they hone their genjutsu skill, the more senses they will be able to affect.

Kasumi juusha no jutsu (Mist servant technique). Can make 2 servants.

Type: Basic genjutsu.

Special: Creates a single mist servant each time trained, which mimics the user in appearance in every way and exists solely to distract the opponent. This is achieved via false attacks which incorporate user's equipment in the hands of the illusionary clone.
Description: Kasumi juusha no jutsu is a universal sight genjutsu technique that creates false attackers to delay and confuse the enemy. Though these servants are not real, the actual ninja is able to remain hidden and throw projectiles such as kunai and shuriken matching the movements of the servants. This makes it appear the false servants are capable of attacking. When the enemy attempts to attack the servant, they will merely disrupt the servants illusion body but not destroy it.

Chishihou no jutsu (Faux wound technique).
Rank: "D", "C" Rank.
Type: Basic genjutsu.
Handseals: Yes.

Special: Affects any one that comes in contact with the user while this technique is active. Severity of the fake wound depends on the user's highest rank known.
D: Flesh wounds & scrapes.
C: Torn muscle.
Description: With this simple genjutsu, the illusionist creates the sensation of a wound onto anyone that they attack. After forming the needed seals, the user charges and strikes, and the illusion settles in. Although the victim(s) won't feel pain, they will feel the disadvantages of being injured, such as being able to walk less over a perceived broken for, or being unable to form handseals due to an imaginary chopped off hand.

Ashigatsuru no jutsu (Jelly dead leg). Can affect 2 limbs.
Rank: "C" Rank.
Type: Basic genjutsu.
Handseals: Yes.
Chakra: Mid.
Special: Can be used one a single appendage within a target per turn, plus one more each time retrained. However, after every fourth retraining, the chakra consumption of this technique will go up by one.
Description: With this simple illusion, the target will begin to feel their logs loose and wobbly, almost as if they had become glue or jelly. This forces the victim to not feel pain, but instead lose balance and feel wobbly.
Domain: Universal genjutsu.

Kokohi no jutsu (False place technique). Can alter non-organic things 1 meter in size.

Type: Basic genjutsu.
Handseals: Yes.
Chakra: Mid.
Special: Affects anything within range. The user is able to essentially alter anything non-organic around them half a meter in size; this increases by a half meter each time retrained. However, after every fourth retraining, the chakra consumption of this technique will go up by one.
Description: Kokohi no jutsu is a simple sight genjutsu technique which changes the appearance of a nearby object. After forming a few seals, any object the user makes eye contact with will warp, twist, and look however it is the user wants to the untrained eye.
Domain: Universal genjutsu.

Nododitsumaru (Draining oxygen dlip).
Rank: "B" Rank.
Type: Basic genjutsu.
Handseals: Yes.
Chakra: High .
Special: None.
Description: A simple yet affective genjutsu used mainly as a distraction and to cause panic in the victim. After forming the needed seals, the user designates a target and the technique will start to take effect. The target of the technique will begin to feel as though they’re not taking in enough oxygen at first, with shallow and quick breaths. The next few turns the target feels as though they’re taking in no oxygen at all, which is followed by the feeling of drowning. The victim's body believes it is literally taking no oxygen, and so the body doesn't search for it but instead wastes more energy trying to obtain more. This results in the target falling unconscious if the illusion goes unchecked.
Domain: Universal genjutsu.

Magen - Jubaku satsu (Demonic illusion - Tree binding death). Can make 2 trees.
Rank: "B" Rank.
Type: Basic genjutsu.
Handseals: Yes.
Chakra: High.
Special: Produces up to a single tree, plus one more each time retrained, However, after every third retraining, the chakra consumption of this technique will go up by one. The more trees the user can create, the more choices they have as to where they can appear while attacking the target.
Description: Magen - Jubaku satsu is a more advanced genjutsu technique utilized by illusion experts. After forming the needed hand seals, the caster will suddenly disappear and approach their target. Once near, a tree will grow at their feet and its branches will bind them so they can no longer move. Once the illusion makes them believe they are captured, the user will appear from within the very tree itself, allowing them an opening to attack their target effectively.
Domain: Universal genjutsu.

Kuramu no jutsu (Extremely disorienting color spray). Can make 3 colours.

Type: Basic genjutsu.

Chakra: High.
Special: Can create up to two different colors at once, plus one more each time retrained. However, after every third retraining, the chakra consumption of this technique will go up by one.
Description: After performing the needed seals, the user then targets a person with in range of the technique. The person targeted first shows signs on the technique immediately. From their point of view, the world that they’re looking at is twisting and turning rapidly in different directions, making it very hard to see. After a while disorientation kicks in and the person may feel nauseous and dizzy.
