Hikaru asked, the shinobi watching the elder as they three walked through the garden that lay behind the dojo. Hikaru had to admit that it was instead of nice, as far as being calming went. However, there was a lot of things here that she disagreed with, being from Konoha. One of them, primarily, being the lack of danger, here. Aside from being outside with the volcanoes and such, ther ewas very little crime or anything within the cities.
There were no wanton acts of violence that were needed to toughen oneself up. It was not kill or be killed out here, which she did not agree with at all, not even in the slightest. she had grown up in an environment where it was necessary for every day life in order to be one who was able to fight at any given moment, and give your life to kill any who attacked you. Duels for position were regular occurrences.
The Elder smiled, calmly. “It seems that, with everything that has gone on out here, we have forgotten to look within ourselves to know ourselves before we know one another,” the woman spoke, and Hikaru would have arched an eyebrow, if she had the guts. Or really, if her profession even had an established form of communication in which they raised eyebrows to show confusion or skepticism.
“What I mean to say is, as we of Iron country have been here for several years, we have yet to really understand ourselves, let alone those that live beyond the borders of our country. You and your ally here, Ginny, have arrived and are decided to show me that you are worthy to learn the technique of hiraishin, did you not?”
