Good luck
I almost laughed again, almost. I was being generous by even allowing him the option of fighting me, even though I knew he had no chance of landing a hit on me-- let alone actually beat me in a fight. Like last night, I was doing this mostly out of the sheer thought of entertainment, not because I even remotely cared about sparing this kid's life. Frankly, however, he was making do so very difficult. He was a shinobi and yet, even with his life on the line, he decided to simply... run at me with a kunai? Really? Seriously?
Aside from it's rather blunt and straight up nature, Asato had made several mistakes with just his first attack. First off all, you see, he had unknowingly and imbecilically charged in at me without any real idea or clue to the amplitude of my shinobi prowess. Essentially, he had jumped in gun cocked in an attempt to display his raw skill -- unfortunately for him, however, I was far too gifted to fall prey to such a mundane and clear attack. That was another thing in itself, by charging in like that he had completely overestimated his own skill and underestimated my own: something that could, and will, very well bring the end of him."Baka."
I cooed, my head falling as my body followed into a poised crouch. Having seen Asato reach into his pouch and ready himself for the duel, my eyes had all but transformed out of sheer anticipation, my previous charcoal hues manifesting into pure power that coupled with my raw skill, made me a real force to be reckoned with. The sharingan and all its glory had taken control over my visage, plaguing me into a veil of incarnadine vision as they analyzed - almost instantaneously at that - the body movement of my now opponent.
Everything was seen with them, from his minuscule breathing to even the muscles in his arm daring to make movements even before his mind had given them the command to. Utilizing such knowledge, my hands quickly and intrepidly reached for the katana on my back, my fingers dancing upon its base at the same time as I pocketed the kunai that had been within their very grasps. All of this would have occurred during Asato's sprint, and by the time he had finally reached me I'd be ready to spring at him; my now crouched position allowing me to dodge the swipe aimed at my chest, whilst also allowing me to make a counter strike in the process.
The counter strike wasn't aimed to kill, no-- in fact, I didn't even allow it to fully hit its mark. Instead, almost as if taunting him, I would leave the tip of my blade at the center of his neck, showing him just how easily it would have been to end him completely. It would have all happened before he could even blink, for with my proficiency in both Kenjutsu and my prowess with my Sharingan that allowed me to essentially predict his movements to a degree, all would have been performed flawlessly and with much grace. Luckily for him, I was feeling generous again."Try again."
