[/b] As I looked at the sun in the sky I would but guess that it was a few hours before we were due to leave. Being unable to enter the samurai compound or the area where the exams were meant to take place I couldn’t exactly pass the time by looking at idiots run about, and there were no shops that I could find, so there wasn’t all that much to do. Walking along towards the area where we were supposed to meet I’d soon lose my patience with this wait, and I’d simply sit on a nearby stump, the tree having been long cut down for firewood or simply for fun. Whichever reason it was, I didn’t care all that much for such trivial matters.[/ul][/ul]
Sitting down on the log, Blanche would soon find herself looking around at the trees and environment around her. It had been very different here from the change in weather but she couldn’t say that it had been all that interesting. Sure enough she had met people who she probably wouldn’t forget all that easily in the future; That bitch Axcel and then there was Hiroko, the giant of a man from what she could remember, who bore quite substantial muscle upon his frame- She couldn’t exactly recall what they had spoken about but she could remember being held by him, which was quite strange seeing as most of the time she was the kind of person who wasn’t really in to stuff like that.

But, it had been a mystery- She was drunk, he was drunk, it worked out. But now, she’d need to leave, the man having so kindly left the area before she had. This part had annoyed her, but as long as she had his name, she could easily track him down- Being as tall and as unique looking as he was, you didn’t get ignored that easily in crowds surely. ”…….” But now, she would simply sit down, and wait, attempting to pass the time. She had an hour or two- Two hours and about forty minutes was her best guess- to burn, but the place being devoid of such things, she’d simply sit and think, going over both ways that she could beat up that dick of a shinobi, Axcel, and what had happened yesterday night with that guy.

[/i] did annoy me how exactly someone could just approach me in such a way, placing their hands all over my hair without me giving permission. If I was in the right mind at that point I would have punched him right left and center, and that would have taught him not to do such a thing to a lady when under the influence. But for some strange reason, I’d pulled back and allowed him to embrace my figure- It was a mystery to me, a true mystery of why she let me do it especially. It had been a code of mine not to drag myself in to any situations such as those without it being to trick someone in order to get things, and since I couldn’t remember a lot at the moment of that time, I couldn’t imagine what I was thinking that night.

Nothing to occupy the day, nothing to permit time to pass without notice-- everything too structured to allow creative thinking and self-expression. The Samurai inhabited expanse relieved little, and only promoted rigorous disciplines one who escaped a Hidden Village only wanted to ignore. Nonetheless, as time and location dictated, abiding by the regulations of a foreign land was the perspicacious decision. International conflict with prospecting allies showcased little to no fellowship and showed the lack of responsibility one would expect from civilized Shinobi.

So alas, what could one do? Tetsu no Kuni most likely already sorrowed permitting shinobi from the far reaches of the world into their confines, so starting ambivalency was out of the question. After examining some of the behavioral segments of the Katana-wielding warriors, inquiring to sparring sessions also seemed unlikely. Everyone was so arid, and didn't value the art of growth-- a truly loathly quality in anyone really. Ryûsuke only came to such a land for aid to his partner, Asato. Regardless, the boy with lively dark hair and a sailor's mouth had ventured elsewhere, leaving the Uchiha to his own.

Moving through an untenanted Corridor, the Uchiha walked with an unperturbed swagger. Head positioned decently, allowing his almond, purple eyes to peer forward in the direction he planned to explore while he awaited on his partner. Hands nonchalantly hidden within the pockets of his White Hakuma, while his Olive green Flack Jacket masked most of his navy blue Kosode, the Hidden Leaf Native continued on.

Sigh-- His lips dispelling a dull exhale of air, the atmosphere discharged a insouciant sensation, eventually taken in by the crimson-haired Shinobi as strands of his lambent hair fell over his forehead, shrouding his Hitai-ate somewhat. “Asato... you bum..” He thought to himself, attempting to withhold the bulk of his vulgar mental notes, having become truly peeved with his fellow Konohgakure resident. There objective was simple; scout the Chûnin Exams and relax- a leisure vacation from constant exertions of strength and fidelity in the forms of training and missions. Nonetheless upon arrival, the Suiton Practitioner escaped his sights. Punk.

If the blonde paid any attention to her surroundings as she propped herself on whatever obstruction her rear found salvation upon, just a few yards off to her right, upon a pathway, Ryûsuke's entrance would soon be realized.

[/i] having another person around. Most people were so.. ignorant and naïve. I wouldn’t dare lower myself to their rank unless it meant something in my gain, which was usually the reason why sometimes I paraded about as a dumb blonde. With my baby blue eyes, light blonde hair and sumptuous curves, I was something to be looked at; But not to touch. Or, people could try but I’d smash their fucking faces in. It had happened a few times in the past, and to say the least, she had been happy with the dirt that was strewn across my hands afterwards- The crimson having seeped in to the tiny little ridges of my hands, I was stained.[/ul][/ul]

But- At the moment, she was quite bored. No world map; Nothing to do, nothing to train that she could think of at the moment- Most of her medical work had to be done when there were people around or when there was some kind of casualty, although it was possible to learn medical techniques without there being an actual patient, it lost the slight spark that came from learning it, knowing that you wouldn’t be able to test out the technique afterwards. But it was no matter; Maybe she’d train some goken or something to do with taijutsu in the free time that she had. It was best to use it in a productive way rather than just mess about or waste her life away sitting around and doing nothing of course. Another deep sigh emitting from her lips, she’d then raise, preparing to teach herself something new to do with Souin, or Goken- She was yet to decide.

However her training would seem to be cut short as I would hear the sound of someone ploughing their legs through the slow that covered the area- It was a sound that I had soon come used to after having been in the country for some days now, and to say the least it was hard to go to somewhere outside that had no snow on the floor at all. Looking to the side to see a young shinobi- He wearing something that she could but call a kimono, she found it interesting to see a man wearing one- Of course it was traditional for males to wear them too but she hadn’t come across many of them who chose to wear such a garment. But- With her backup plan coming in to action, the first thing the boy would see, should he look over at the angelic looking blonde, would be a woman in her early 20’s, or approaching her 20 years old, looking around in the snow with quite a anxious look upon her face. It wasn’t genuine- But it was horrendously believable. A con artist when she wanted to be, she adopted such convincing personalities.

[/b][/color] I’d pause, taking a breather, as if I was shocked to see someone cross my path- My innocent, worried self jumping at the chance to get someone to help my cause. My face looked a cross between upset, shocked and scared at the same time- Any man would fall for it and come to attempt to comfort me in my time of need, I was sure of it. ”My world map- Have you seen it?! I’m on my way back to see how my homeland is! I think it’s around here in the snow, It must have fallen out when I came here- Can you help me find it?! Please..” another pause would occur as my eyes would turn from him to frantically look around for a few moments before then looking back to him; ”Please- I’ll, I’ll do anything- I need to get back home, the location-”

And now I’d wait, looking around in the snow for an object unseen and undropped- I needed that world map, and if he was to look at the band around my neck, Kusagakure, he’d probably but feel somewhat sorry for me, giving him a sense of guilt if he didn’t help me. I would act as if I hadn’t gone back home since the war- and everyone knew the state of the minor villages- Except for me, of course. ”I’d heard- That.. it’s all gone but I want to see for myself..” I’d murmur in such an innocent tone that it would cause angels to cry. It was spoken low, as if I was truly saddened- Of course the matter of Kusagakure having been somewhat burnt down during the war did upset me- But I didn’t show it. Closing my eyes tightly, as if I was to begin crying, I’d finally let the tears I’d been collecting in my eyes go, as they began to stream down my face, my hand raising up quickly- ”I’m sorry..” Should he have had a world map- It would be so gentlemanly of him to donate it to me so I could go ”Home”. But only time would reveal itself.[/ul]

Still no sign of him. That arrogant, self-possessed and self-proclaimed Casanova was now a irking three hours late. His current endeavors holding him up surely had to be of some importance, or simply his mind hadn’t registered the time, nor location he was suppose to meet his friend. This needless to say didn’t sit well with the Uchiha; during his stay in Tetsu No Kuni, nothing placed true stratagem into his conscious and as such boredom as played well on the boy’s emotions. Viewing the Examinations wasn’t scheduled for another day, and as such, all he could do was waiting for now at least.

Venturing forward, the motive behind his walk masked beneath the light blanket of white snow that coated the ground as well as the adjoining area, Ryūsuke could only ponder one thought; where was he going from this point on? Still a Genin, the exams for his entry wouldn’t be held for a while, and as such, he had ample time to linger and train. Nonetheless, as most things in life took such s turn of boredom, the sensation of monotony would settled, forcing the scarlet-haired Shinobi to adventure into another avenue for entertainment and purpose. Maybe exploring the world and include his training into his journeys would prove most beneficial.

As the young man moved forward, ignorant to the woman ahead, and the devoid plot she intended to incriminate a sudden outburst, filled with briskness in the form of fright echoed out into the open, banging against the Uchiha’s ears fiercely. “Huh?” He looked up, orbs of clear, almost tantalizing violet peering in the direction of the hysterical blonde. Taking in her appearance, his maturity lured in like a moth to a flame, the sheer grandeur of what surfaced on the exterior graced his senses. Hair a incandescent blonde, and eyes a deep crystal blue that held semblance with the ocean. Even behind the inundation of tears that fell from her face, and underneath the morbid dialogue, she held a beauty unrivaled in the Iron Country.

Moving forward, a forthcoming demeanor masked within the mystique of concern, the Uchiha attempted to gather all she said. “Please calm down. Now what’s wrong?” He inquired, attempting to comfort the blonde with signs of consideration in hopes of having her slower her tone and actually speak at a reasonable rate. Whatever had ghosted her obviously was traumatic. After all, what had produced such a reaction.

But seriously- It had been stolen- Or at least the money I had had in the past in order to buy one had been stolen by none other than Axcel- He was a fool to deceive me, and although a small part of me knew it was bad to simply carry on the tradition and rob the next guy I could find who could possibly have a map, I couldn’t help myself- It was so.. easy. With tears still streaming down my face I’d raise both of my arms and rub each eye, wiping them away successfully, although my poor, poor eyes still managed to glaze over with the tears that I had just removed- I could almost be pitied- A beautiful girl such as myself, out here in the woods with no world map to find my way back home- Such was the impression I was hoping to set on him, and such was the impression I was hoping to trick him with.[/ul][/ul]

“Please calm down. Now what’s wrong?”

Oh, so he was alive. Looking over to him, her eyes having past been looking at the snow in an emotional manner, her eyes would seem to be weighed down with some kind of sadness, chaining her down to this earth- Taking a deep breath before talking, the pure looking female would then shake her head a little bit as the innocent curls of her blonde hair bounced against the snow that fell upon them; ”-My!” a pause, as she’d seem to control herself, letting out another breath; ”M-my world map, It’s gone- I had it in my pockets a minute ago and now it’s gone--” she’d tell him as her eyes frantically looked over him for a few moments before resting on his face once more- As if she was pleading, she’d ask him once more;

”Have you seen it on your way here?! I don’t know where I dropped it- It looks like any other world map--”

Another bout of silence would draw between the two as she would simply keep her gaze on him, her right hand then raising and then rubbing the side of her head- She looked pretty wrecked- Or not wrecked, but tired- Truthfully, because she had been drinking so much the night before and it had taken a temporary toll on her, but she pulled it off quite well- It simply made her look even more distressed, almost as if she had been looking around for it all morning. Pulling her arms back down again, she’d then clasp both of her hands together, small, almost undetectable beads of sweat growing on her forehead as she’d stand, her hands a little bit clammy from being held for so long. ”I need it to get home- I’ve never been good at getting myself around the place without one- Have you seen my map?” she’d ask once more in a desperate attempt, appearing as if she truly wished that he had seen it- ”I have to get home- Kusa-!” she’d say as her eyes looked quite close to igniting with tears again.

[/i] been lost forever, or he could simply give him whatever map that he had, should he have one- And thirdly, he could give me whatever money he had so that I could buy myself a new one to quote, unquote, ”Find my way back home” but what would he do? For now, my eyes would anxiously rest upon him, waiting for him to make the move- The pressure was indeed on with him, would the crimson-haired male take a chivalrous side and give me what I wanted, or would he dismiss it? One slow tear escaping the corners of my eyes- I’d wait.

As he stood, something beleaguered his being, the thought of actually helping someone produced an emotion he knew too well; guilt. The act of relating one’s own disappointing to compliment or supersede another’s in hopes of truly experience the feeling of guilt. Repenting seemed most reasonable, nonetheless what had the Uchiha done to aggravate such? This could clearly be compassion, but in a world filled of pessimism, it was hard to discern emotions and feelings. Nonetheless, that didn’t matter, as she continued on, the boy realized he could help her, and as such, corresponding with his own courteous nature, he would oblige.

Placing his right hand, in such a respective, precautious manner against her shoulder, the one that opposed his designated hand, the Uchiha seemingly looked on with apprehension. Her appearance should combinations of exhaustion and distraught. Was this map so important? And as a Shinobi, evident by her Hitai-ate, shouldn’t she be familiar with any route leading to her home? It was only rudimentary for a Ninja to know the location of their own home, and from whatever scene they were, navigating the skies, they should have returned. Was this woman truly that competent lacking? Concluding to gaining information first before taking any brash actions, Ryūske proceeded.

“I’m Uchiha Ryūsuke, pleasure to meet you,” Leading towards sodalities, and eventually treading towards the important objective at hand, the Uchiha motioned towards gathering as much information as he could; a name, reasoning for being here, and more prominently, how did she lose something so essential to her travels. If she obliged, and truly gave him the segments he required and wanted, they could proceed from there.

[/i] with anger as a hand of his fell upon my thin shoulder, as she wished me to make sure that he didn’t dare place another finger on me, but for this plan to work, I needed to be like anyone else- He seemed to place his hand on my shoulder in order to comfort me after whatever ordeals I had supposedly been though, but still she found it as a reason for me to go batshit crazy on him and sever the very hand that was linked to his body for the ’crime’ that he had committed. But ignoring this desire that welled up inside me, I’d instead focus my energy on my acting, continuing to play the part of a distressed blonde. My persona didn’t falter during this raging battle inside me- I wasn’t careless at all, and made sure that I didn’t let my guard down.[/ul][/ul]

And then, a name was given to her- Uchiha Ryūsuke- So he was of the Uchiha clan? That was pretty interesting. From what she had heard of them, they all- Or most she figured, had the unique eyes that the clan were known for- the Sharingan. Upon continuing to look at him and his eyes, his appearance, he didn’t seem to fit the bill for an Uchiha, but then again his father or mother, whichever one held the dominant Uchiha gene that caused the sharingan to be unlocked within a growing child, must have done the deed with someone who bore no resemblance to the Uchiha clan- Crimson hair being one of the most strange things about him. There were many theories on it, but she didn’t want to spend the day pondering that rather than working out how to get a map.

He had been polite enough to give him his name, so she would reply; ”-My n-name is Blanche..” she’d speak yet again in the silently distraught sounding tone that she had past used- Her name meant white, something pure- And by appearance it fit the bill. And by the personality that she was putting on it seemed to also fit- She was an innocent victim, torn down by losing her map and now out to fend for herself. Although she looked to be approaching her 20’s, she still retained that look of childhood innocence about her, her fine blue eyes standing out on her skin. Looking back towards him, her gaze having past been held longingly at the snow around them, she’d begin to speak once more;

[/b][/color] I would say, as if I was apologizing for bumping in to him and giving him a flurry of frantic words. My tone made me sound as if I felt guilty, and to back this up, I’d then give him a courteous bow, showing the appreciation I had for him for waiting and appearing as if he’d be ready to help me. A light cough emitting from my well-trained being, I’d then seem to shudder a little bit as the snow chilled my body to the very core; ”I was just on my way home and-” I’d shake my head disappointingly. ”I guess there could be thieves in this land which use the snow as a cover.” I’d murmur silently, just above hearing level as I rolled in self-pity, almost looking as if I was convincing myself that it hadn’t been my fault- My persona knew it was, but, that was the appearance I was trying to give off- And then, a light, almost forced smile would come to my face- Part of the act. ”I guess I should stop being stupid and keep an eye on my things next time, huh..”

My being screamed to be hugged- To be told that it was alright. It was hard to resist, really.[/ul][/ul]

She was at a loss; her item, something that held an importance to her return home was now absent, and held no consequence to her frame. Her body lacked an essential; her soul was devoid of the happiness that would seemingly compliment the grandeur of her face. Everything seemed so wrong, and guilt was a truly obnoxious thing. What could he do, you ask? Giving her his map seemed the fastest method, motherless, those things cost a small fortune, and currently his own funding didn’t contest or exceed the cost. They were now at a standstill, and there was little he could do at this moment, at least for now.

His hand rested on her shoulder, and a soft tingle danced across the surface of his hidden palm. Blanche felt as if the snow had possessed her body, even the material of her clothing held an unwelcomed frost. Sitting in such a terrain wasn’t healthy, and her wellbeing was now pushed to the forefront. Her tone still hysterical, and without signs of lessening in their distress, the Uchiha knew not what to do—or more precisely, how to react without depriving himself in the process. What she asked for wasn’t something that could easily be replaced.

Speaking of bandits, it only seemed logical for them to prey on a vulnerable woman, nonetheless how defenseless was Blanche? After all, she was a Shinobi; dispatching simple froth wasn’t a task that was too farfetched. Also, sneaking up on an opponent whose talents flourished in stealth combat also didn’t sit well. Then it was her smile, and the sudden change in the atmosphere that vexed the boy. Orbs of tantalizing purple directing themselves upon the drenched surface of the blonde’s face, complimenting her fake smile with one of his own, Ryūsuke relieved her shoulder of his hand and diffidently motioned towards the pouch on his side.

His visual attention still focused on Blanche, while his right hand was held to his side, the Uchiha proceeded into dialect. “I was going to use this to get home… but you seem more in need of it t-then I do..” His tone was empathetic, but if one paid close enough attention, hesitation was present. Pulling out from the pouch with his left, a sealed Map was now perceptible. Lifting it up to the forefront, directly between himself and the woman, Ryūsuke smiled faintly.

“Take it…”

Of course I didn’t feel bad for doing something like this of course, because I knew that I’d probably bump in to him in the future and have to pay him back- Which was acceptable. In my own mind. ”……!” and then- With his hand descending to one of his pockets, I’d watch on in curiosity at what he was going to do, my past gaze unshifting- If I was going to smirk or something like that, it would give the whole game away.[/ul][/ul]

Her eyes would grow wide at this, her baby blue lenses contrasting with the white of her eyeballs, which were showing to their full, showing the exact gratitude and shock that he had of him passing his map over to her- Or suggesting that he’d do it anyway. Looking from him back to the map, then to him a final time, she’d rest her own eyes on his purple, and would wait a few moments before speaking, as he told her to take it. Her hand raised as if she was going to do so, but there was a pause in her actions- ”Are you sure? I-I’ve got this if you want it- It’s not much but-” she’d murmur, lifting up her skirts for a few moments (Although all that could be seen was her legs, covered in black) and taking out a dagger- Apart from her tracker it was the second most expensive thing she had probably- So to act the part, she’d offer an exchange.

Or he could be even more of gentleman and give her the map without having to exchange- But exchanging seemed as if she was more gratuitous of his offer. ”I’ll- I’ll pay you back someday I swear- I don’t have money right now but next time I see you I’ll give you it- and more.” she’d tell him whilst nodding her head. It was a truth that she had no money now due to that Axcel bitch, but was she planning to actually repay him? Probably. Although she was a thief when she wanted to, this boy seemed to be kind enough to give such a distressed blonde a world map, knowing that he might need it to get home- He did deserve some kind of recognition of course, even if she just gave him the full 10,000 Ryo back when she had it. Looking to the map once more, then to the dagger that was in her hands, she outstretched her own, making sure not to ram it in to him.

My eyes, still upset looking, now bore at least a happier sprig of personality within them, as if I was glad that I had stumbled across this male, as if I was glad because I knew that I was going to get home safely this time. My mouth would then, unlike the last one, form a smile- Of course this looked genuine, to me it was a fake, but it didn’t look falsely made like the last one I had created- This one was warm, one that bore hope.[/ul]

She hesitated, her eyes filled with a perceptive melancholy that would take time to sooth, though the act of accomplishing it was already in motion. His palm facing the heavens, its surface graced by the compliment of the splendid map that now occupied it, the Uchiha only awaited her to accept so they could move on. Why had he even stopped, and why was his heart so pure? Helping a ostensibly desperate stranger in a foreign country was enough reasoning to avoid them in whole. Betraying himself to please someone else, sounded like the crimson-haired Shinobi above anyone else. A skilled combatant, but a compassionate soul.

As she reached beneath her skirt, a imprudent reaction only leaned towards averting his eyes. Nonetheless, what she pulled out eased him before he even turned his head. A knife? It wasn’t drawn in an destructive manner, so retaliating with force wasn’t an option, she reached out, attempting to hand it to him and as her words spewed so pleasingly from her mouth, albeit hesitant and timid, he smiled warmly. “I couldn’t accept that.” Commenting once more, another fool’s spectacle showcasing through the genuineness in his eyes, Ryūsuke waved off her exchange munificently, only promoting the aid of venture back home.

“Besides… seeing you happy once you return home is reward enough for me.” His last dialect before sealing the chambers that allowed words to escape into the air as the Uchiha closed his mouth and simply looked on. Regardless of what she did, which most likely led towards taking the map from his tenure and adding it to her own, Ryūsuke would await her final farewells, or conversation to provoke. Either way, the future for the two didn’t seem affluent—she attained what she wanted and now nothing was tying to her this dull location. A swift retreat was expected. Nonetheless, maybe the two would meet sometime in the near future. Who knows?

So I don’t have to give over my weapon? Great- even better. With quite a perplexed look on my face my blade would stay in the air for a few moments before I’d hitch up my dress once more, placing it back where it had been prior, my gaze then turning back to him again as he continued to hold the map out towards me- Quite a nice offering, really. But I’d be sure to pay him back someday- It wasn’t always that you found men this.. polite, so was due to be praised for his actions, even if I was just going to practically steal a world map off him. Nodding my head my thin hands would then reach out to the map itself, as I’d take hold of it and bring it over to my side, placing it within the confines of my pockets- I now possessed one, unless it was some kind of fake like the one that damn Axcel had given me- Time would reveal itself, like it had the last.[/ul][/ul]

So, with the map now in tow, I wouldn’t’ be leaving all that long- I’d give our blossoming ’friendship’ a few more minutes before I’d have to leave. Examining his form once more I’d then rest my baby blue eyes on his purple once more, speaking; ”Thank you- So so much, you don’t understand how happy I am.” she’d say as her eyes seemed to gaze over once more with tears, but this time not of sadness, but of happiness, glad that she had been given such a gift by a male so polite and understanding of her current *cough* situation. If you could call it that. Bypassing the rules of personal space, Blanche would then move forwards towards him and reach out her arms, wrapping him in a hug- Of course she being taller than him she had to change it a bit so that her chest wasn’t directly in his face, but after the hug was done, she’d then rise once more, before planting a kiss on his forehead with her soft lips.

”You’re a sweet kid. I’ll keep my word- The next time I see you, I will pay you back for this.” she’d say- of course it was the truth unlike everything else she had said- Or maybe not the sweet kid part- Or maybe she did- If you knew Blanche truly, it would be strange of her to say that but then again she was acting the part in order to get the map, so there was no real problem with her calling him that. Looking at him once more as she’d take a step back, she’d begin to prepare her leave. A small part of her felt guilty for taking the map off him- He was younger than her, too- but, it needed to be done- and she’d give him back 15,000 Ryo or something like that when she saw him again, and when she found the money to pay said 15,000 Ryo back.

[/b][/color] I’d speak with happiness clear in my words. Of course it was a little bit tragic since I myself, truly hadn’t seen this kind of happiness in years for myself, I hadn’t experienced it- The last I had was when I met that Hiroko male and a wave of it seemed to wash over me- Except for that, I was cold and unable to feel such.. emotions.

And with that, and a great big gratious bow from me, I would leave the area, but not before blowing him a kiss from the full lips and giving him another warm smile- I had to go as quickly as I could to Kaminari, I was already late- But I was thankful for this Uchiha.
