The last place was pretty nondescript, a small, whitewashed building tucked in between two larger buildings. Chi moved in quickly and was greeted by a lovely woman with a charming smile, full pink hair, a thin figure, and bulging breasts.

"Oh dear! You're a little young to be coming in here, dear!" Chi reached into his pockets, pulling out his paper, and showed it to the woman, who chuckled nervously before grabbing the paperwork and slamming it down on the counter. "Now, go on, dear! Get out of here!" Chikyuou grabbed his paperwork, sliding it into his folder, before turning and heading out. What kind of business was this, he wondered?

No matter. It was time to get back to the Hokage's Castle.

To be a little bit honest, Chikyuou was a little bummed out. He had all these ideas in his head of being a grand shinobi, one of the greatest and most powerful that this world had ever known. However... it was clear that Konohagakure no Sato did not see him that way... yet. With a thin line of a grimace, he looked down at the paper within his hand, the one mission that the clerk at the Hokage's Castle Complex had been willing to give him. Chi's shoulders slumped, and he sighed. He was nothing more than an errand boy, a desk clerk's assistant, hunting down the paperwork that the clerk himself was too 'busy' to collect. Kicking at the dirt with his right foot, the boy placed both of his hands into his pockets sullenly and began to walk towards his first destination.

The walk was not a long one, by any standards, about ten minutes down the road and across some intersections to a place that Chikyuou was innately familiar with, the Arcade. A place where he had spent many an afternoon pumping away his salary as a Shinobi for trinkets and treats, not to mention hours upon hours of entertainment. The boy managed to erase the grimace off of his face, replacing it with a gentle smile as he removed his hands from his pockets and pushed open the doors, letting the sounds and sights of a plethora of games wash over him in a moment of stupendous rapture.

Alas, it was not to last, for he had work to do, and he did not want it getting back to the Hokage that he had been shirking his duties. Moving quickly through the gaming nirvana, he adeptly sidestepped numerous children who ran about unsupervised and made his way towards the prize counter where the owner, Jackson, stood waiting for anyone who had earned enough tickets to be worthy of a prize. Chi's smile widened as he waved towards Jackson, who then smiled and returned the wave to Chi.

"Chikyuou! You're not usually here on a Tuesday. What can I do for you?"

"I'm sorry, Jackson. I wish that I were here for pleasure, but instead... its business." Chi sighed as he reached into his pocket, withdrawing the requisition from his pocket and sliding it over to Jackson. The arcade owner glanced over the paper and nodded his head once before moving back towards a locked room.

"It'll be just a moment, Chi. Gotta fetch my paperwork for you." The Genin waited for only a minute or two before Jackson came back out. "There you go, my friend. My monthly earnings report for the Hokage so that I can pay my glorious leader's taxes." The man let out a booming laugh as he handed me the paperwork and I slipped it neatly into a folder.

"Thanks, Jackson. I'll be here on Friday for sure." Chi smiled and waved again, and then made his way towards the exit of the Arcade.

Despite knowing better than to have his hopes set high for an Akuseru success, Chikyuou felt really good about seeing the Oydish. Akuseru seemed to take it as an omen of success, that a creature that he assumed to look like Chi was his monster. However, that couldn't have been further from the case. The Hyenra took the initiative, attacking first with Crazy Growl, a Confusion status debuff that also decreased the defense of the Oydish. There were ways to play around the Crazy Growl, and Chikyuou opened his mouth to help give instructions to Akuseru as the boy opened his mouth, openly stating the same sort of Confusion that the Oydish was experiencing.

However, Chikyuou didn't even have a moment to respond as the other Genin simply shrugged off the status ailment and ordered his Monstermon to attack. Chi's eyes opened wide with surprise, his mouth hung open. No. the boy thought. This cannot be! Akuseru-san should have used a defensive ability with a low chance of inflicting damage on himself instead of an offensive assault! And, of course, the move would backfire, Akuseru-san's Oydish sending whips made out of vines towards itself instead of at the Hyenra. And, of course... it was a critical hit. As the Oydish's health plummeted to zero from a combination of the critical hit and lowered defense, Chikyuou actually did find himself sighing this time. How could someone be this hopeless at video games?!

Chikyuou watched as a grim aura of sadness surrounded Akuseru, an almost palpable level of failure that Chi found himself feeling for the other boy. Of course, it would be difficult to cheer the boy up after such a disproportionately dismal display of disappointment, but Chi was confident that a win could turn this whole thing around. It was then, as Akuseru spoke, that Chi found himself hit with disbelief. The other boy was literally doing all of this just to get a free ticket for a Sundae? The point of the games were to have fun, not to get stuff.

The prizes were secondary, and of course, Chikyuou wanted a strawberry sundae too. However, it was here that Chikyuou found out what Akuseru-san was doing wrong. Moving quickly, Chikyuou placed himself in front of the Glorious Dancing Revolution machine. Two dancing areas, equipped with a different colored arrow positioned at each of the cardinal directions (up, down, left, right), were present. Chi slipped some coins into the machine, enough for both of them to be able to play, and then glanced towards Doctor Gloom and Doom before calling out to him.

"Ahem. Akuseru-san...? Please, try this instead." He paused. "And this time, your opponent will be me, not the machine." Popping a piece of candy into his mouth, Chi waited until Akuseru was ready to play.

Chikyuou watched with intense concentration, willing Akuseru to be successful. After the other boy had taken the candy and popped it into his mouth, Akuseru had begun the game. However, the man's motions were too much. He didn't even wait for the machine to give him the colors that he was supposed to mimic! Mentally restricting his neck from causing his head to shake, Chi grimaced only ever so slightly as not even ten seconds passed before Akuseru had failed, his body a tangled mass of limbs from trying to press all of the buttons multiple times simultaneously. Chi had half a mind to simply walk away from Akuseru at this point, as the boy had been nothing but grief to Chi since they were in the Genin program together, but Akuseru's glance and plea for aid stuck a knife in that plan and called it done.

"Ahhh, Pretzel-dono... Um, I mean Akuseru-san," Chi scratched the back of his head with his right hand. "Maybe this one isn't the right game for you. Yeah, that's it! Let's go try another one." Moving his right hand away from his head, he gestured out into the veritable sea of games that they were awash with, and smiled. "I think I see one that's just your type, for sure!" Without waiting to see if Akuseru followed, Chi turned on his heels and stalked towards a battle arena style game that had just recently launched with a new expansion pack. This one would definitely be Akuseru's place to shine!

Pulling up to the machine, Chi observed the title. Monstermon Monster Battle Stadium Utopia 3: Unnatural Garden Paradise. It featured a large brand new variety of nature-based Monstermons! Akuseru was sure to love this.

"Akuseru-san! Let's try this one!" Reaching into his pocket once more, Chi pulled out a candy and some Ryo. Placing the Ryo into the machine, he turned and tossed the candy to the gaming failure prodigy. "Remember now! 2Cs, Akuseru-san! Osu!"

"Chi!" The word, like a knife, cut through and air and, like the air, Chikyuou's concentration. In that brief moment, when Chi was on the fortieth successful repetition, his ability to shut out the world and focus splintered into a thousand pieces. Emerald eyes blinking momentarily, he watched as his fingers failed to hit the correct button and the horrifying red buzzer rung throughout his ears. His mouth opened slightly in shock, his half-dissolved strawberry lollipop falling to the floor with a crack that, in Chi's mind, sounded worse than a thousand Katon jutsu releasing simultaneously.

With an exaggerated slump, the boy appeared to melt, slinking to the floor and grabbing onto the machine, as if it alone were keeping him afloat in an ocean of despair. Who could have done such a thing?! Who would ruin his chance at beating his high score of 312 successful Simon buttons?! And worse, who would destroy his candy? Giving a visible shake, Chi's neck swiveled, changing his line of sight to glance upon the site of the one person that Chi had hoped to never run into in a place like this. Akuseru.

A weight sunk into his heart, but Chi forced a grin, releasing his hold on the machine and giving a casual wave to the snow-topped simpleton that Chi was cursed to call a classmate.

"Ohaiyo, Akuseru-san." The words, carefully drawn out so that each syllable was pronounced, would float across the room, the waves of sound loud enough for the other Genin to pick them up even through the sounds of the bustling arcade. However, it was at this moment that a new distraction arrived. The sound of tickets printing at the machine in front of Chi gathered his attention, and the king of the earth looked towards it, counting as each ticket fell from the machine. To his sorrow, the machine halted at a measly 120 tickets.

Looking back towards the other boy, Chi spoke. "Akuseru-san, I thought you didn't normally come to places like this..."

Chuusijin no Jutsu (Stomping Monkey’s Quake Technique)

Chuusijin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user coats their legs and feet in chakra and begins stomping wildly. As they stomp, the earth around them begins to quake, disrupting balance of anyone nearby. This technique is ideal when faced with waves of opponents, or for taking down weakened edifices.

Note: The earthquake extends 5 meters in every direction of the user. and will continue so long as they continue to supply chakra and stomp. Any person within range of the earthquake will suffer serious balance and orientation disruption.


Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique)

Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a single handseal, the user conceals themselves beneath the ground. Here they can lie in wait, capable of feeling the vibrations of those who walk above them. When the user chooses, they can emerge suddenly from the ground, grabbing the opponent and pulling them down into the pit where they once were buried. The opponent is buried up to their neck, robbing them of the ability to move.

Note: Concealment is near-instantaneous. User cannot move while underground, except to perform the second part of this technique. To remain underground without suffocating, the user will need to continually expend chakra.


Dochuu Eigyo (Underground Fish Projection)

Dochuu Eigyo is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user conceals themselves beneath the earth, much like in Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu. However, now they are capable of moving through the earth like a fish moves through water, allowing them to stage surprise attacks or escape from a potentially deadly onslaught.

Note: To learn this technique the user must know Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu. Concealment is near-instantaneous. The user cannot perform seals beneath the ground and thus cannot use jutsu, but can wield weapons. To remain underground without suffocating, the user will need to continually expend chakra.


Ganban Kyuu (Rock Plate Coffin)

Ganban Kyuu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user slams their hands against the ground. Two plates of rock will rise from around the opponent, moving to entomb them; upon the user's command, the rock will push together, crushing whatever is trapped inside.

Note: Requires a natural earth source.


Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu (Rock Clone Technique)

Chakra Consumption: Mid per clone

Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user creates a perfect clone of themselves made of stone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Iwa Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it cannot travel very far from the original body. If the Iwa Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural rock state.

Note: Clones must be created within 5 meters of the user and cannot travel father than 50 meters from its creator. This clone has High cap of chakra. These clones are limited to Earth-based jutsu and elementary chakra channeling. This includes simple abilities like water walking and tree climbing but not more advances channeling techniques such as Hien.


Doro Gaeshi (Mud Overturn)

Doro Gaeshi is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user strikes the ground with their hands, sending a pulse of chakra into it. A wall of earth will rise in front of them to serve as a defense, although it is not perfect.

Note: Doro Gaeshi can defend against techniques C rank and below; any attack above that will destroy it, breaking through. The wall is large enough to conceal the user.


Retsudo Tenshou (Revolving Split Earth Palm)

Retsudo Tenshou is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing the required handseals, the user slams their palms into the ground. The surrounding rock will begin to churn in whirlpool-like manner beneath an opponent, twisting and turning to crush all those trapped within it.

Note: Can only be performed in an area with natural earth and rock. The user can control how large the whirlpool's dimensions are, so long as they do not exceed a 5 meter diameter.


Doryuuheki (Earth-Style Wall)

The user creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defense. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water.

Note: This wall is fifteen meters tall, ten meters wide, and nearly five meters thick.


Domu (Earth Spear)

Domu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a single handseal, the user flows chakra through all parts of their body. Their skin becomes noticeably darker as earth is infused with it, granting them a higher defensive power. Furthermore, the destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great all-purpose technique. Not many techniques can breech the areas hardened by Domu, excluding its undeniable weak point: Lightning Element ninjutsu.

Note: Domu cannot be penetrated by techniques that are of equal or lower rank, but will be penetrated by techniques that are of higher ranks. All physical attacks (punches, kicks) will have an increased damage potential because of the hardness of the user's skin.


Tsuchi Kairou (Earth Corridor)

Tsuchi Kairou is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After forming the necessary handseals, the user slams their hands into the ground, causing the earth to rise up and over the opponent. This creates a cavern, imprisoning the target. The user can choose to leave an opening to allow attacks to go in to strike down the trapped adversary, or close it up completely to prevent escape.

Note: The prison can have a maximum dimension of 5x5x5 meters, and can be broken by attacks of a higher rank from either the inside or outside. Prison remains indefinitely.


Doryuu Taiga (Earth Flow Rivers)

Doryuu Taiga is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud. This river materializes suddenly and flows quickly, completely in the opposite direction that the opponent was originally moving. This technique is excellent for slowing people down and facilitating escapes, as the mud itself is highly constricting.

Note: The river flows in a straight line in whichever direction the user chooses; the direction cannot be altered afterward. The river can be no longer than 5 meters and no wider than 3 meters. The mud created by this technique can be used to facilitate other techniques that require mud.


Doton Kekkai - Dorou Doumu (Earth Barrier - Earth Dome Prison)

Doton Kekkai - Dorou Doumu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user strikes the ground with their hands. The earth overturns, rising up and around the opponent, trapping them in a dome made of earth with no apparent way out. By placing their hands against the dome, the user is able to suck out the chakra from the people trapped inside and bring it into their own body. At the same time, the user can use their own chakra to spread throughout the dome, repairing any damage their opponents manage to inflict on the inside. However, the chakra flow is not evenly spread out and becomes more weak the further away from the user it moves, allowing the dome to be broken on the far side if hit by a hard enough force.

Note: The dome is 6 meters in diameter. The user drains Mid chakra from each opponent inside the dome per turn while absorbing a Low amount of chakra each turn. By sacrificing a High amount of chakra per turn, the user reinforces the side of the dome closest to them, making it impossible to break from the inside with any technique because of the quick rate of repairs. The side closest to the user can be broken through by any attack of S rank. The wall farthest from the user requires an attack of A rank or higher to break or a strong piercing jutsu of B rank or higher. If the user decides not to pay the upkeep at all, then the dome can be broken on any side by an attack of B rank or above. The user must keep their hand on the dome at all times for all these effects.


Doryuu Jouheki (Earth Style Rampart)

Doryuu Jouheki is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing the necessary handseals, a large earthen rampart will erupt from the ground beneath their feet, pushing them up into the sky. Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. This technique is useful for increasing the amount of earth one has to work with, aiding or foiling escapes, and drastically altering the terrain.

Note: The shape of the rampart is up the user's imagination, but it can never exceed 10 meters in any dimension. Doesn't harm the opponent in any way, just changes the landscape.


Doryou Dango (Mausoleum Earth Dumpling)

Doryou Dango is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing the required handseals, the user strikes the ground with their hands, grabbing onto it. Chakra flows into the earth, and the user is able to overturn a large dumpling-shape chunk the size of a mausoleum. This chunk feels light-weight to the user because of their chakra control; they can hurl it at their opponent, flattening all in its path. The destructive power is obvious, and even just the visual impact is enough to make enemies lose their fighting spirits and run away.

Note: User requires a natural earth source. The dumpling is 10 meters in every dimension and can be thrown to any point within the user's range.
