Lena was a night crawler; though that wasn’t the greatest excuse for her wandering outside the entire night. Sleep deprived, she yawned. Wandering aimlessly around the village never is the best for her body, but she felt more comfortable in the night, especially in the witching hour. It was the best time to examine her life, and wonder where she’s headed. She spent this entire night wondering what she’s going to do next, as she has just completed the academy. Is she really a ninja now? She couldn’t believe it. It is a lot to contemplate but now her night has finally come to an end, and she gets to finish it off with another gorgeous sunrise.
Unlike the rest of the shinobi of the country, she never was a star student. In fact, she absolutely hated the fact she was now bound to a certain village. In all honesty she would rather sit around in beautiful scenery, like a castle, lake or meadow, acting the part of some damsel in distress and wait for that one man in shining armor. It would be easy: just stay pretty, don’t worry about bruises and injuries (being killed), or worry about others who have absolutely no impact on her life. Because face it… does she really care about her village? Not really. Unfortunately her ill-fated life is not correlated with her dreams of perfection, and she must suffer through this Shinobi nonsense. It was a surprise she even passed the Academy exams, considering her lack of motivation and skill.
Again, she yawned.
Into the slight darkness she peered around, noticing a boy sitting on a bench. He wasn’t doing anything special or anything; just sitting. It was the first person she saw out in the past couple hours so immediately she felt a spontaneous hunger for socialization. ”Hello,” she said softly, and without asking took the empty seat which was obviously saved for her. She crossed her legs and looked up at the sky, admiring the short silence. ”It’s really nice out, people usually don’t appreciate the beauty of mornings. The weather is refreshing, isn’t it?”
