The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
Tier 1 - Muchikaisai (Ignorantly Held): Though normally wielded with both hands to enhance the accuracy and power behind their monstrous technique, those who've reached this level of mastery are now able to perform Jū Kenshi with nearly any grip they feel necessary (one-handed, reversed, etc.) without suffering any added strain or further impairing their mobility or effectiveness.
Tier 2 - Musumehagi (Spinner Lancet): For an additional chakra cost of x2 High, this allows the user to reach ranged targets previously out of reach. After a charge and briefly cocking back their blades, Ju Kenshi practitioners will toss their blade with such power, strength and speed that it maintains flight at extreme velocity, flying like a dart towards wherever it was aimed at (within 20 meters), and decimating anything it comes into contact with. The flight path is usually circular, and gives the Ju Kenshi a chance to reach distant foes and let their blade tear enemies asunder, while also allowing it to return to them, akin to a boomerang. If the blades path is obstructed by something higher in rank, however, it will be stopped, and the 'boomerang' return effect will be canceled.
Tier 3 - Hoshiuchikudaku (Shatter Star): True masters of the Ju Kenshi style have learned the full intricacies of charging and loading their weapons, and gain increased capability within the art. Once per thread, those who've gained this mastery can completely ignore the charge time for the usage of a single Ju Kenshi technique, allowing them to perform any of their specialized fighting style attacks near instantly. The user is restricted to C Rank and lower Ju Kenshi techniques, and temporarily loses their Taijutsu Primary movement speed perk for the remainder of the thread, after this mastery is utilized.
Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Low, Mid, or 2x High
The most basic principal of all Ju Kenshi techniques, and the reason their enormous blades seem so easily wielded in the hands of a master. One who has learned this technique charges their hands with chakra to lighten the physical strain of wielding such cumbersome weapons, then loads that charge directly into the blade at the moment of attack, drastically increasing its apparent weight, as well as its destructive potential, and lending credence to the title "Heavy" Blade Skill. Due to their sheer power, the user sacrifices speed in order to deliver attacks that are incredibly difficult to adequately defend against. Senchineru Taidenkōgeki must always be used first if the user wishes to perform specific Ju Kenshi techniques, but is sufficient on its own to create intensely powerful basic attacks. Any form of Senchineru Taidenkōgeki known to the practitioner can be used in conjunction with the fighting style techniques, so long as it is equal to or greater than the technique used.
Note: The charging process is disrupted when physical contact by anything other than the user is made with their weapon (the user cannot Charge while in the middle of defending/attacking with the blade). While charging, the user cannot also utilize the Taijutsu Primary movement speed perk.
The cost of Ju Kenshi techniques is added onto the cost offered for this charge ability.
Charging a weapon with a Low increment of chakra doubles its weight; charging a weapon with a Mid increment of chakra triples its weight; and charging a weapon with a 2x High increment of chakra quadruples its weight. However, it should be noted that the user does not feel this change and wield the blade as if it were its relatively light (as effectively as one can wield a traditional sword, like a katana).
Gekitotsu (Clash Crash) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Low
The user charges their weapon before intentionally striking their opponents blade, using the sudden increase in weight to redirect the force of blocking/parrying maneuvers and cause a target to damage themselves with their own weapon. The purpose of this technique is quite literally to overpower an opponent into harming themselves, and can only be used to that end, meaning simple deflection in a direction that would not result in the opponents blade coming in contact with their own body cannot be achieved.
Inkaten (Flash Point) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Low
After a brief charge, the user allows the flat side of their massive blade to be loaded with chakra, and pushes back against attacks targeting any vital focal point with great force in order to defend against them. The added weight of the Ju Kenshi practitioners strike is used in this manner specifically to break an opponents grip on the hilt of their sword, to break their hand/leg, etc. and can cause a moderate amount of damage due to the strength of the recoil.
Note: This technique can only be used against piercing/stabbing/blunt taijutsu attacks attempting to concentrate damage into a single point against the Ju Kenshi practitioner.
Zankokuha (Brutality Edge) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: 2x Low, Mid (optional)
An upward sweeping slash, where the enhanced weight behind the strike is directed to knock an opponent into the air on contact, as well as setting them up for the next attack. If this attack successfully connects, its effects take place whether the opponent blocks or not, though successfully blocking reduces the 'knock-up' distance by 50%.
Note: By default, the user can launch a victim one meter into the air. However, for a Mid increment of chakra, the user can increase this distance to three meters.
Sorasetsudanchen (Chain Severing Sky) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Mid, 2x Mid (optional)
After a brief charge, the users grips their blade tightly and twirls in place, creating a vicious circle of bladed slashes, striking their opponent multiple times as they become a veritable spinning top of destruction, aimed to cut foes completely in half at the waist.
Note: By offering a 2x Mid increment of chakra, instead of the base one Mid, the user’s spin can deal five strikes.
Mukou (Void) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Mid, 2x Mid (optional)
The user slams the full weight of their blade in a downward diagonal strike aimed specifically to drive an opponent into the ground. The flat edge of their heavy sword is used to assist in the pushing motion, causing significant blunt force trauma and a 'knock down' effect, where the victim’s body creates its own impact crater, severely hampering their next attempted movements.
Note: By offering a 2x Mid increment of chakra, instead of the base one Mid, the user can create crater that is five meters deep. This ‘knock down’ effect can, of course, only be formed on surfaces which would logically allow for it.
Wabisuke (The Penitent One) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: High
When making contact with an opponent’s weapon after the appropriate charge, the user is able to load that charge directly into an enemy's blade, but with a truly awe-inspiring twist. The opponents weapon, not the Ju Kenshi practitioner’s, has its weight affected, and when used in conjunction with the S Rank Senchineru Taidenkōgeki, can quadruple the weight of their blade, making all but the mightiest of foes unable to wield their own swords.
Note: This technique can backfire on the user if used against another practitioner of the Ju Kenshi style, who decides to counter with this same technique. Affects an enemy’s weapon only; it cannot be used on parts of the body, accessories, etc. If successful, the victim’s weapon will remain at this weight for a total of five posts.
Shinkounohiyaku (Leap of Faith) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: 2x Mid
By swinging their blade towards an opponent with great force and loading their charged chakra into the very tip of their sword, the Ju Kenshi practitioner uses this extra momentum to boost a mighty leap towards an enemy within 10 meters at roughly 3 times their base speed, crashing their weapon into the body of their foe with the ability to break bone on impact if not properly defended against. This is not an incomprehensibly fast movement however, but if it can be combined with a distraction, has truly devastating potential, allowing them to close distance between themselves and more mid-ranged fighters quite effectively.
Note: This technique can only be used with the 2x High version of the Charged Attack Sentinel technique. The speed granted by this technique does not stack with the Taijutsu Primary speed bonus.
Ouibureka (Throne Breaker) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: 2x Mid
Holding their enormous blade horizontally as if it were a bat or a club, the user swings with all their might as the loaded chakra courses through the blade allowing its increased weight to create a massive knockback, the sheer force of which can even take opponents who attempt to block the strike off of their feet. This creates a visible shockwave of force which easily sends foes flying, and if used in conjunction with the bladed edge of the weapon as opposed to the flat of the blade, is one of the most deadly techniques in the Ju Kenshi arsenal.
Note: This technique can only be used with the 2x High version of the Charged Attack Sentinel technique. Furthermore, this technique is capable of knocking up to three enemies a total of ten meters away.
Rokudenashi-ryo (Bastard Charge) Rank: S Range: - Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: -
Grants the user the knowledge of how to charge and hold enough chakra to perform more than one Ju Kenshi technique in succession, allowing them to temporarily overcome the restriction of contact which would normally disrupt the Senchineru Taidenkōgeki technique. This knowledge can be very dangerous, as the chakra cost of techniques performed back to back stacks, as well as the total charge time, but given enough opportunity to prepare, this allows for a truly terrifying number of combination moves capable of slaughtering almost any enemy force one faces.
Note: This technique costs 600 EXP to learn; there are no exceptions to this rule. With this, the user can charge and hold the chakra to perform four Ju Kenshin techniques in succession. The charge times and chakra cost stack, but so does the weight of the weapon in question.
MEDICAL DOSSIER, ORIGINS AND VITAL INFORMATION.
Birth Name: Hagan. [HAH-garn] Alias: N/A Age: 27. Gender:[M]/F. Country of Birth: Kusa no Kuni. Hidden Village: Non-Ninja. Difficulty Setting: Advanced/Hard.
Height: Six foot, six inches. Weight: Ninety-seven kilograms. Eye Colour: Blue Hair Colour: Blonde
Appearance: The first thing many people notice about Hagan is that he is very large, both in terms of height and muscularity. Coming in at 6'6" and 97 kilograms, his body paints a vivid picture of a dedicated warrior blessed with great genetics. In stark contrast to his naturally intimidating physique, however, is his easily recognizable taste in fashion. Preferring shoulder capes to body armor, silk to steel and formal wear to a uniform, he usually ends up looking more vain than scary, an image he strives to be rid of for his new line of work.
To try and offset this, however, Hagan tends to wear a small, porcelain mask on his face when dealing with customers or on the job, so as to hide his identity and strike fear into the hearts of those he fights. When not on the job, however, he lets nothing get in front of his beautiful face, lest people miss out on his wondrously attractive features.
MENTAL EVALUATION, SUMMARY
Moral Alignment: Chaotic Evil. Allegiance: Himself. Quirks - Cannibal. - Merciless. - Loyal to ryo. - Sadist. - Disgusted by corrupted pursuits of power. Likes - Fear. - Ryo. - Struggle. - Power. - Blood. Dislikes - His father. - Idiocy. - Ignorance. - Carelessness. - Strong personalities.
MENTAL EVALUATION, IN-DEPTH.
Far beyond his old sniveling, foaming-at-the-mouth insanity, Hagan has matured into a seemingly calm, controlled human being, with only minor streaks of his former personality shining through in dire situations. Having undergone drastic remodeling during his time away from his family, he has come to realize that his outward personality scared away more victims and opportunities than it created and has, in his mind, become the ideal mercenary.
Inwardly, though, Hagan is very much still crazy, though to a much lesser extent. Due to his seclusion from people and his lack of human victims, he has begun to ween himself off of human flesh as his main source of nourishment and has instead become a strict carnivore, only eating red meats and human flesh. The single advantage he has obtained through becoming a mercenary is that, if the client doesn't care about the capture of the person, he can usually use their corpse to sate any hungers he might have.
When it comes to his family, though, he still very much cares about them and thinks about them to this day. Whether or not he'll actually meet them in person again is questionable, but he certainly hopes he'll be able to remodel them and make them productive members of his mercenary group. After all, blood is thicker than water.

I don't see what the problem with it is, it obviously has uses outside of what the gourd provides. Firstly, it's less conspicuous and more befitting of, y'know, a ninja. Secondly, by using it in conjunction with magnetism, it'd allow a form of flight, though how you'd like to balance that is up to you.
Not to mention it has a brutal drawback, meaning it isn't overpowered in the slightest. Once again, not seeing a problem here.

''Here I shall rest, it seems."
I smirked as I uttered those bitter, painful words, the tear that rolled down my cheek punctuating my fall from grace. It had been such a long time coming, this release; Erebus had sought to claim me and my power and ultimately, the power of nature. But I would not allow it-- no, for as long as I drew breath, I aimed to preserve and help nurture nature. ''KILL YOURSELF? BAH, I'M IN YOUR HEAD, SEIDOU. I KNOW YOU BETTER THAN ANYBODY, YOU ARE TOO PROUD TO END IT, YOU INSUFFERABLE FOOL." Screeched that shrill voice, the painful ringing merely a chorus to my triumphant moment.
''Who are you to choose, Erebus? I am the God, here."
I muttered as I knelt before a large, bountiful tree, the aged bark and long dried sap an adequate tombstone. It was humble and tranquil, a contrast to my destiny. Perhaps this was what my true purpose was, in the end? The decomposition of my body would serve to feed nature-- so in the end, I was helping it prosper, right? No, not really, but I knew that I had to reassure myself somehow; deny the failures I had committed. And as I sunk the kunai I grasped into my stomach, I felt that voice in the back of my head spark up again, the incessant screaming and pleading enough to make me smirk.
''FOOL, YOU HAD ENDLESS POTENTIAL. YOU COULD HAVE HERALDED IN A NEW AGE OF MANKIND, WHY DO YOU JUST THROW IT AWAY LIKE GARBAGE?!"
''Wh--.. Who do you think.. you are? A God.. doesn't need direct--.. tion."
I whispered quietly as I collapsed in front of the tree before me, my fleeting moments of life spent reminiscing about my family and the wrongs I had committed. In the end, I couldn't serve my country or my people as I had hoped. I couldn't bring about a time of peace or love, instead, all I had left behind was a corpse; a gift to nature.

''Well, it looks like I'm riding with you, then."
I chimed to the young Taijutsu primary in front of me, the blank look on my face showing my displeasure at the seating arrangements. ''Just don't be too noisy, I wish to gather my thoughts before we land." I mused quietly, before resting my legs on either side of the bird, my feet locking me into my seated position as I began to focus on the task at hand. This was war, my first fully fledged one, at that, but I knew I would be able to add more to this than if I had infiltrated, especially with those asinine orders of 'no attacking the Kazekage alone'.
''BAH, THE BITCH CAN SEE IF SHE CAN STOP ME."
Screamed the voice in the back of my mind, the screeching tone making me wince with pain. ''THIS WAR WILL SERVE AS A FINE TRIBUTE, SEIDOU. DO NOT DISAPPOINT ME." It yelled once again, though this time I showed no reaction to him, at least not outwardly. We had a job to do, this village and I, and if I were to succumb to his urges in the heat of battle, then I knew my mind would be lost forever.
''I look forward to seeing what you can do, children. Especially you."
I moved a hand atop the boy's shoulder in front of me, a kind smile playing across my lips. He had admitted that he had no close range prowess, and as such I knew that he would require some help if we were to go against long ranged foes. ''If you need protection during the battle, just yell 'Erebus', got it? I'll lend you any protection you need, child." With a final pat on his back, I settled back into my seating and focused on myself, intent on finishing my meditation before we arrived in Sand. This would be a test of faith on the largest scale, both for them and me.

I huffed as I looked over the few that had amassed there, my entrance from a further back point allowing me to scope out the scenery first. Coco was up there, on her proverbial high horse yet again, and the few that stood before her were.. well, underwhelming to say the least. None of them stood out as brilliant, prodigal or incredibly smart, but I had hoped that this was the point of their bland appearances.
''THIS WILL BE OUR TIME, SEIDOU. DO NOT FEAR TEMPTATION."
Stung a familiar voice, my eyes turning to mere slits as I tried to zone the voice out. It had been such a long time since I had done something of this magnitude, having only been apart of a large fight once, in more humble times. But the theory was there and most importantly, so was my divinity. ''I hope you weren't planning on leaving without me?" I spoke warmly, my hand raising to alert Coco to my presence, the smile that adorned my features masking the intense thought process I was shifting through.
''I would ask for.. one more addition to our plan, Miss Coco. I will accompany you and the rest of our ninja to the Gate, I feel my presence there will be more important than the infiltration."
I felt my body loosen up as I spoke to the woman, my hands resting lazily at my sides. This was not an easy thing for me, but I had to admit that a siege of the gates would be optimal, both out of notoriety and a form of combined strength. If these ninja were worthy, which I had hoped they were, then they would be blessed with a glimpse of my power.
''Let us stain The Sands of Sunagakure with blood, my children."

''Nnngh, Astraea.. so foolhardy and headstrong, I can see why these people take you the wrong way."
My mind was a flutter, hastily trying to place the pieces of the puzzle in the right order. They were strong, yes, or maybe not. But they had a certain charisma; a lighthearded ambiance that warmed the cockles of this old soul. What were they capable of, truly? Under my prestigious leadership, they could aspire to be like us, well.. Seidou. He had such a lovely way at looking at things, even if I do need to chip in and give my insight. But I do fear for him, especially with the uprising of Er--.. but wait, we had things to discuss.
''Eh--.. U--Uhm, you must understand that we are.. eheh, two parts of the same man, you know? We do not have balance, as you say, but we are the sum of our creator; Seidou."
I fidgeted around as I tried to formulate a proper way to speak to these creatures, their fleshy, pearly eyes constantly staring at me and trying to observe my habits. But no, oh no no, they couldn't break me down, I was truly superior when it came to intelligence. They thought with emotion and added in these irrelevant factors such as 'feelings' and 'love', but that isn't how a thinker works, no, that is how an idiot survives, not thrives.
''If--.. If we are to attack at once, using a veil of Genjutsu a--.. and perhaps some specialty cover fire by me, then we could take out the guards before anybody was the wiser. Th--.. That is of course if you are willing to go by this play, Coco. I wouldn't want to intrude on your leadership. I'm simply offering a more educated opinion--.. not that I'm better than you, well.. I technically am, but you are Tsuchikage for a reason. Your brand of thinking is respected, and this time we must defer to what you want."
I felt my skin crawl as the attention in the room was forced onto me, my hands tucking into eachother atop my stomach in hopes that it'd stop my guts from spilling onto the floor. They were so critical of me, I hated it, but Astraea was even worse. Her fiery glare was centered on me, and I just knew that she'd berate me when we were together again, she always did. ''Mmngh.. s-such coldness from a fiery will." I thought to myself, the meager smile I managed to offer them being wiped away by paranoia once again.
''I can.. w--.. we can reconfigure to our needs, we have a vast knowledge of Mokuton, Miss Tsuchikage. We will take any suggestions on board."
I nodded meekly after my offer, the shy look I shot Astraea being followed by a cautious rub of my stomach. I was positively sick to the core from all of this attention, hopefully Astraea and I could join once again, even if it meant being subjugated to her harsh mental punishment.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Mighty shoulders shrugged as I drew incredibly bored of these explanations, the specimens that were supplied to me being so dreadfully vanilla. None of them had anything of worth to me, especially not that red eyed miscreant with what I could only assume to be a novices handle on Genjutsu. I had no need for her, or the rest of them, but as long as she gave her pittance to the rightful Goddess, I could care less.
''I have no need for this Rosario figure to accompany me, she would only get in the way."
I shot a stern look towards the girl before the feminine side of my mouth curled up into a sick grin, the idea that I had to depend on anybody was ludicrous. ''I do have an objection, Coco. If I am to infiltrate by myself, why am I not to take the chance to strike the Kazekage down? Does that not defeat the purpose of my secretive entrance?" I spoke mightily, my arm wrapping around my waist securely as I went on to further explain my motives.
''We have become so focused on the idea of.. ugh, 'storming the gates', that we have excused any other course of action. If you are going to put the village on high alert, why would I even infiltrate the place? I would suggest that we engage them on our terms, whether it be through a combined ambush or just taking them out one at a time."
I instructed the group to what I would hope would be a roar of applause and compliments, though I knew that deferring to the brilliance of others wasn't the strong suit of these ignorant creatures. And yet as I stood there, I couldn't help but notice that Apollo was fidgeting and pacing about; the calling card of deep thought.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

I pondered out loud at what had just transpired, the few, short explanations of abilities piquing my interest. As I began to forge my chakra, I offered an observatory glance to each and every one of the members of our panel. We had.. what I would assume was a Taijutsu user, somebody not unlike Ares himself, hopefully. Some foolhardy Doton user, with a splash of Ototon, perhaps? And most importantly, somebody that described themselves as a user of diversion and concealment. This, of course, stood out above the rest.
''Child." I spoke calmly, my eyes locking firmly on the girl before me. ''Tell me the depth of your abilities, you may be helpful to my part of the operation."
I smiled to top the sentence off, though the incredibly kind pittance was a stark contrast to my long, deliberate stretches. Assuming that the lesser members of the war room were done with their explanations, I opted to stand closer to the group, my eyes still closed as I focused on molding my chakra and body. ''Mmn.. I am a master of Mokuton, infiltration arts and impersonation. Through my powers of transformation and divinity, I can shape myself in the image of any I can touch, or assimilate them into my body, assuring that I never lose their form." I swept my arms around as I continued on, though the split that began to form down the middle of my body caused some degree of difficulty.
''Mnngh.. as I will be.. mn, infiltrating during this whole escapade, I will need cooperation and communication fr--.. from you."
Splitting my body from the groin up, I let out a quiet gasp and felt my two sides begin to split, leaving my consciousness split and unable to fuse together. ''My divinity is without equal, children. Radios will need to be supplied to you, however, so you may stay in contact with me." Astraea mightily announced, the nippleless breast that formed from our now parted chest jiggling with new life, much like the rest of the incredibly feminine features that forced themselves from her pelvis, leaving Lady Astraea as an aspect of femininity and masculinity at once.
''If questions arise, my children, then with these radios you shall present them to me. I am the aspect of knowledge, and am the antithesis of Miss Astraea. As such, you may call me 'Apollo'."
Apollo beckoned as he, too, began to forge his own detail-lacking figure. Smudges of light blue covered his leg, as if they served as a form of camouflage, yet his arms were strictly blue. With our split nearly complete, I looked at the group one last time as Seidou and offered a single nod, Apollo's hands running up his chest in time with the gesture, a habit that would hopefully not get out of hand in his individual form.
''Alright, children and.. Coco. Once we are supplied with radios and begin our trek to Sunagakure, I will require full obedience up until I leave the group. We will.. more than likely combine into the form of Seidou whilst in there, but if you cannot handle the task of attacking the gates by yourself, I will have to defer to my place as God and smite those that stand against my children."
''And as for me, I shall assist in planning, children. You all have your niches to fill, which is good, but the most important part of our plan is getting Seidou into the village. From there, Astraea and I can think cooperatively and do our best to capture our target. If you are to succeed in the siege on the gates, then I would ask that you accompany us inside of the village, as.. eheh, I imagine the target will not want to come willingly."[/blockquote][/blockquote]
Karada Bunkatsu no Jutsu (Body-Splitting Technique) Rank: B Type: Supplementary / Secret Ninjutsu Technique Range: See special! Handseals: No Chakra: High Special: The split takes 1 entire post to complete. The user's chakra is divided equally between Black and White, and each are able to use any jutsu that the user knows. The only way for the halves to recombine is to meet up, however the collective Kuro-Shiro member regains all chakra and knowledge from both halves. Because Black and White are physical beings, they are able to travel as far away from each other as they like; the user is permitted double RP thread count so long as half is Black and half is White. The downside to this is that if either side dies, it is gone forever! The user will only have the remaining side to RP with and will be stuck with only half of their total chakra pool. Description: Karada Bunkatsu is a keystone technique of the Kuro-Shiro bloodline. The user focuses chakra throughout their body. Slowly, the black half and the white half split down the middle and pull apart from one another. Each half regrows a leg, arm, and missing body mass out of white substance. However, this regrown area appears slightly disfigured and is incapable of creating finer details like eyes and ears. Black and White each keep a half of the venus flytrap growth on their body. These two halves act independently from one another, and to fit with the ying-yang symbolism of their clan each has a different aspect of the whole's personality. Domain: Kuro-Shiro. Mokusei Akuryou 'B'.
Tier 2 - Infiltration: Chakra drain for all supplementary Kuro-Shiro techniques is reduced by one tier. For example, Mid x2 would only cost a Mid amount of chakra. This mastery does not effect techniques that already cost a Low amount.
