There was a flare of chakra that swelled along Ryuu's temples and into his eyes. That was easy to figure what that was. Knowing him, his Sharingan would be able to track her and help him react but she knew there was no way he'd actually be faster than she was right now. Even if he dodged, all she would have to do is pivot and kick outwards and it would be done. She just had to get him in close enough to her.

Easier said than done. After all, she knew him just like he knew her.

Though she had started off in a serpentine like dash towards him, even though it wouldn't take long to reach him, she didn't want to take the chance of him moving too far from her general line of attack. Granted every piece of rubble on the field was now a weapon, she didn't want to have to resort back to a game of cat and mouse. That's why she destroyed everything to begin with. Nowhere to hide, nowhere to take cover.

However as she ran chakra poured through her body and down into her feet and with one quick motion. Propelled forward by the speed she had been going at, Kohana would leap forward, but not so much into the air, just simply forward. As she did she held the kunai defensively while her free hand drew back with a closed fist. With her capabilities she could leap close to 50 meters but she wouldn't need that, closing the rough 30 that lay between them easily.

That's when her attack came in the form of a chakra enhanced punch that could easily break bones that, if hit, would send Ryuu flying at least 10 meters back. Regardless if he was knocked back or gave a last minute dodge the kunai in her hand would be let loose to follow him---its aim to sink right into his flesh and spill his blood. To aid this, the moment she would land a small shockwave would also radiate outwards in a distance of 10 meters mostly destroying that little area as well which would likely help knock him off balance. Due to her speed and even quicker leap, her attack would have come quite quick--quick even to his Sharingan. Of course that was all in a perfect world.

However, considering just how ruthless she was being in her onslaught, she couldn't see how he would escape entirely unscathed...

Yet another versatile aspect of the Medic's Chakura no Iko style is their ability to produce fine amounts of chakra, at once, for destructive reasons. In this case, the medic sends a healthy wave of chakra at their feet, initiating an explosion that allows them an impressive forward leap (up to twenty-five meters fifty). As they land, another chakra burst serves to cushion their landing, as the area around is slightly destroyed (in a five ten meter radius) by the sudden displacement of one's chakra to soften the landing.

Kongouriki (Golden Thunder Power)

The Golden Thunder Power comes in the form of any powered up punch or kick with enough chakra behind it to send the victim behind the strike flying (up to a maximum of five ten meters) even if blocked. Such a strike often results in added injury from the forced flight, as well as the strike itself.

Masteries In Play:

Tier One – Intuitive Chakra Control: Dedicating their lives to the medical arts, the user has refined the method of chakra control. Because of this, the cost of all chakra related techniques (Souin included) have been reduced by a single tier. This also grants the user the ability to access the Souin tier 1 mastery.

Tier One – Fleet of Foot: As a more combat experienced medic, shinobi with this mastery are incredibly more agile than your typical shinobi. Because of this, medics move at x1.5 the speed of your typical shinobi. This bonus does not stack with the taijutsu primary bonus.

Tier Two – Herculean Might : With refined chakra precision comes a greater force from it’s release. From this, the user has effectively learned to double the effects of all Souin based jutsu (including the damage done to the surroundings, such as craters and the like).

There was a loud boom and then everything went blank. It seemed like it was an eternity but really it could only have been a handful of seconds. After colliding with the Nibi, sand had erupted behind her and the beast like an active volcano. A lot of it crystallized into glass just from the Nibi alone while the rest fell down on her and all within range—Ashura and Aota most likely. When color finally returned to her vision, most of what she could she was through tunnel vision and other than that it was just sand. Though, faintly, the glow of the Nibi caught her eye. She was knocked completely out, the flames held close to her body while still in her condensed form.

I did it…we did it…Akira are you watching? See? I can be strong too, just like you…Oh I hope you can see me right now…

Delirium was never a fun thing to go through. As the Hyuuga struggled back onto her feet she nearly stumbled right back over. Her body groaned and creaked and all she could do was bring her hands together to form a few simple seals while a green glow began to emit from her palms. Kohana placed her hands to her chest and let the soothing aura of the healing chakra take effect and relief was slowly coming for her. Though her body still felt weak, her senses were at least returning which meant her Byakugan could flare up to its full potential once more without distraction.

Dotted around her were various shinobi, primarily one of her own and in the distance she could make out Akira and one of his shinobi. She was happy, happy that he was so close. Did he really see what she did? Would he finally look at her more? A smile pulled at the sides of her mouth for the briefest of moments until she managed to catch the tail end of this god-like projection from the two shinobi she head seen far out before. The woman who aided the Nibi’s fire was an Uchiha—go figure, while the man she didn’t know. But what was most important was that they were calling out to Ashura.

Ashura…?!

As much as she tried she looked around for the boy, she couldn’t see him. Even with her Byakugan. He must have been blown back by the sheer power of the explosion between the Nibi and herself. But if that was the case, it would have sent him farther back and towards the location of the two in the sky. They were calling him, but why? The first thing that would pop into her head was simple—Kouketsu. They must be accomplices to that horrible man. If that was the case she needed to stop them, to stop Ashura from going anywhere near them.

“I won’t…let you take him. He doesn’t need you he has all he needs back home in Konohagakure…” Of course they couldn’t hear her, but regardless she said it to strengthen her own resolve. However the moment she started to walk forward she nearly fell over once more. If she were going to be of any use in helping him, she would have to heal herself first.

Ashura please be safe, be smart and stay away from them…!

Shousen no Jutsu (Mystical Hand Technique)

Shousen Jutsu is one of the most fundamental yet vital Medical Ninjutsu techniques utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands, creating a special chakra designed to speed up the body's natural healing process exponentially. The chakra is represented by a faint glow around each of the user's hands, a perfect circle formed around the appendage, with the glow itself letting off a faint, blue hue.

Note: This technique is capable of healing a small or moderate amount quickly, such as a single injured appendage, (in the time of one post) after damage has been received. However, larger scales of damage require more extensive periods of time (for a maximum of three posts). The level of “damage” sustained should be judged to the best of your capabilities, and if needed, confirmed by a Moderator.

It should also be noted that the healing effect of this technique can only be facilitated through the hands.

Ryuusuke must think he had accomplished something great, having dodged her assault. Of course, she didn’t really think he would be so dimwitted as to get hit by such a large and obvious attack. If anything, it was a testament of her strength and just how she would bring him to his knees before her. She was Kage now and she would prove herself to be better than him. Out with the old and in with the new you could say. She would make sure everyone, not just in Konohagakure, but around the shinobi nations would know of her.

She would be remembered as someone powerful and great.

Despite his escape, Kohana still could see every last move he made. Even as the large chunk of earth collided into the ground and buildings further ahead and everything beneath her shook her eyes never left the retreating figure of Ryuusuke. Kohana knew that he knew she’d be watching. He was biding his time to come around to her flank. Most likely preparing some sort of technique or something a little more assassination like. The Hyuuga, however wouldn’t have that what so ever.

She would rush forward and jump into the air while Ryuu started down the alley, only to bring her leg down as hard as she could. The dispersing of chakra from her body and into the ground, needless to say, had an explosive result. In that instant everything within a 40 meter radius would be uprooted and crumble, the crater caused by the impact wanting to destroy everything in its way. Luckily the size of the crater would reach passed where Ryuu was in the alleyway and back behind him into the building there. Even if he escaped the tremors and rupturing ground the debris and chunks of stone from the buildings crumbling around him would be something else to contest with.

Byakugan (All Seeing White Eye)

As its name implies, the Byakugan is just that, a featureless white eye that can occasionally possess hints of blue-gray and lavender, respectively. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge, representing the sudden chakra activation that makes the doujutsu possible. All members of the clan possess and can use the kekkei genkai from birth, as opposed to needing to awaken it. Byakugan gives the user a near 360 degree field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. With this vision, the Hyuuga can see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight up to a maximum standard distance of fifty meters. However, by holding a single seal (tiger), the user may enter a "focused" state and increase their range up to a maximum of five kilometers; they must remain still during this enhanced sight, and due to their attention (and sight) being well beyond their immediate surroundings, are quite vulnerable to assaults. Finally, one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, chakra flow as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style - the Gentle Fist.

Note: Because of the eyes ability to see all things chakra related, the user can detect chakra sealed barriers as well as determine when genjutsu is being used. It can also discern a transformation as well all types of clones (spare for Shadow Clones, as the chakra is evenly distributed).


Tsuuten Kyaku (Bruising Sky Leg)

Using the monstrous strength gathered from their fine turned chakra, the medic will raise their leg in a high arc, and bring it thundering down causing massive damage to whatever it impacts, creating a ten twenty meter crater in diameter. If one of these kicks or strikes were to connect, they would kill a normal ninja.

Note: By jumping in the air prior to bringing their leg down, the user can increase the diameter of the crater to twenty forty meters.
