The night went smoothly, the group had sat up for some of the night explaining who they were it seems that one of the boys I had grown up with, but he was like me. This child was one of the others that was bullied. I didn’t have it in me to feel sorry for him just as I know he didn’t feel sorry for me we had to be strong as shinobi no longer children, though he mentioned that my special merchandise. It was then that it had hit me that Shingo was his name, yes he was often bullied since they believed I talked to crows, they believed his puppet creating family only made dolls thus we were weak.

The boy next to him immediately bowed his head to me his name was Rinji and he was one of the boys who happened to bully Shingo and I, but I had no will to kill another of this village, but Shingo vowed he would take them out of this world…. It was odd that they were teammates which suddenly became extra baggage along with the woman who was said to marry Rinji when they became of age, at this moment I could only see a painful look on Shingo’s face “Damnit I don’t want to deal with this.” I thought to myself as they begun to drift off Sakuya and Rinji took one side while Shingo came to my side, apparently to talk about the old days, but then I saw his focus on the two sleeping.

“Don’t die.” I said stopping him in mid sentence all I could see was those brown eyes staring over at me with the flames reflecting through them. “Don’t do something you’ll regret… We’re Shinobi your lives are nothing and you are tools, your family wasn’t what hers wanted so if you do something foolish like throw someone off here you’ll regret it.” Shingo laughed, but I didn’t I just let myself drift he wasn’t stupid enough to touch me while I sleep, but when I opened my eyes again I noticed he was gone the group? They were still in sight, but Shingo was giving it his all.

Feeling annoyed I just packed my ramen case to the side and removed my chain from it, the portable containers I quickly fastened to my person and begun again making my movements in double time to make up for the ground that I had lost, those guys had some guts I had to give them that they were willing to let me sleep, and they didn’t steal any of the ramen I had brought with me instead they went about climbing, but they were overlapped “Look for Shingo please…” The girl said, but I paid her no attention what that boy had done or what he decided was none of my business even if we were ‘childhood friends. ‘

The top of the mountain was known for being cold and even my way would be stupid, just to catch up to this fool I was risking my life jumping higher and higher. I could feel the winds starting to pick up and honestly they had changed, it was apart of my village I wasn’t used to being that I haven’t been able to take flight, but I always eagerly looked out for the time that I would be able too…

I continued on my journey to the top of the mountain the view of village was beautiful no matter what anyone says as long as people within the village acted accordingly I would be able to ignore their presence, but then again there were always the people who wanted to ruin beauty. The mere thought of how there would probably be war again in this world brought a depression over my head causing me to stop not that far after my stride, I would use this time to stand upon one of the ledges and watch the sunset fall over the village bring a calming crimson tone to the sky.

The other Genin that were making their way up the mountain did as I had done and stopped to watch the sun set, but to them this was an actual rest they hadn’t had the confidence that I had to continue climbing up the mountain by attacking the ledges using them as mere stepping stones to get further in life, it was just like real life using the people around you as they used you to get higher up the mountain, and at night fall I would surely dominate this group who decided that they’d waste their energy climbing the hard way. When one couldn’t see that’s when it was best to use your hands.

With the falling of the sun the other Genin and I had begun again after all this small ledge wasn’t a place to sleep, we… Well I begun to leap to the different ledges once again this time I’d use my kunai as my life saver I was jumping smartly I had released my crows out into the air this time they were my eyes along with that I shut my lids and hid the pools of water only to open up my second eye lids and the world became different to me, I could see the chakra around me even the men that were below me struggling to get themselves up this mountain, I was able to see my crows perfectly in the dead of night just because they were created of pure chakra.

I could see the crows that were ready for me only on ledges that I could reach were marked. Crows that had their head pointing right were good for me reaching with my hands, but the ones with their heads to the left allowed me to kick off of, I was also quite compassionate as I left a few of my crows to be with the men who were left behind in a way I wouldn’t be able to get off this mission easily if I just sat by and let one of them fall to their death, but that wasn’t enough to make me stop my pace I continued on strongly it was quite dangerous to do this job with my eyes closed not to mention the ten that was attached to me jumbling around, but with my own crows brightening my path it was like I was heading closer, and closer to the heavens.

“Hey kid! Have you seen the half way rest stop?” The voice rang up to me, as I just stepped onto a solid surface I believe this was what they were speaking of? It was a large stretch of land that had some odd grass and what looked like a campfire had been set… This odd arrangement I guess was known as a rest stop, but I would only let them know through the connection link through my crow the men showed their joy as they begun climbing faster truly their ages weren’t that much higher than mine and the girls her body was weak looking, I noticed that when we all took a spot around a fire… One of the men was knowledgeable in the Fire release so it wasn’t a problem to light up some wood. “You really saved us there thank you.” The girl of the team said bowing her head to me… It was odd I had no intention of meeting this people yet now we were all huddled around a fire… Maybe I will leave before morning before they start to grow on me.

“I hope whoever comes does not waste my time.”

These few words crept ever so slowly from parted lips only to die in the oxygen enriched world, the need for silence was in extra demand with the arrival of another… Ninja? Deep in the center of my core I felt my chakra rushing, the two who arrived were completely different from those who I thought would become my partners. Maybe their skill was hidden? Hopefully or they’d surely have to go.

The time seemed to roll by ever so slowly with the two who remained in sight while I as mentioned before lurked within one of the nearby caves not more than ten meters up and across from where the new sensei would come. I waited patiently with yet another Crow that I brought forth with my crow summoning, the creature was simply created as a way to entertain me as I waited with these other fellows, but then something started to become a bother, I couldn’t help, but realize that I had a talent in Ninjutsu arts, but my Taijutsu was nearly as good… Would this sensei gather those with talents in Taijutsu?

I wasn’t too concerned considering I knew that I could handle myself physically quite well, as well as my new ‘partner’ that I would be receiving quite soon. These thoughts forced a sigh out of annoyance passed the open lips, and like that time went on and the tension continued to arise until a voice rang out to my ears…

A voice of a woman had spoken of a letter and took the attention to the other two who seemed to be quite gullible approaching her, but at this point I had no other choice myself so I’d leave the cave letting my companion stay in its resting place, as I myself approached her keeping my guard though I allowed the fingers that remained hidden under my cloak to begin their invisible waltz preparing for any type of attack, but instead she begun to speak of a game that she had come up. Well in my mind at least it seemed as if she way playing with us ‘poor genin.’ “…M.” My words were cut off by the shinobi next to me, I was so obviously preparing to curse the Jounin out as well as give her promises of a early death .

Then again this meant I had a chance to test my own teammates and likewise they could learn of me… “Fine, but lets make a show of it.” I thought listening to the Jounin answer the question about the bells as well as keeping my eyes and ears open for any other rules though if there were no more whenever she gave us the chance to begin. I was ready letting my love for my companions overflow… “I hope you survive sensei.” I’d say allowing only my cold glare turn to her, I wasn’t sure why she felt we were so weak that she could come here dressed in such a manner, but we can’t let her look down on us. “Goodluck everyone.” I said giving the two a bit of encouragement hopefully they would let loose when the time came.
