"Damn right we'll see!!!"

 

The confidence of proving to the new ally that his Taijutsu was one to be feared would widen the smile upon his face, the sudden aroma of fresh ramen attracting his attention. His eyes would bulge once again with intensity, a single nostril sniffing the air as his head followed the scent. A simple gaze in front of him and he would discover the dual bowls of beef ramen awaiting him. Unable to wait any longer, the Inuzuka would begin his aggressive feast. 

"Hehehe, chow time!"

The food bringer's face would become delighted due to the fact that Arate had accepted his food graciously and began eating with etiquette, but this emotion would soon transform, becoming that of disgust and shock as he witnessed Goh engulf himself in the gang of noodles. Just as most would suspect, the wild clansman would digest the bowls of noodles like liquid, the food becoming nonexistent in seconds. Furthered discomfort would overcome nearby restaurant employees and guests as they would witness Goh devour the food with his bare hands. Arate's comment about the future sparring lesson would be temporarily ignored, the Inuzuka too focused on defeating the nemesis known as "hunger". Not too much time would pass and Goh would already be finished, his index finger picking at the remains in his mouth as he released a forceful belch.

"Mmm!!! You're right, that was good! And don't worry, kid, I plan to throw everything I got at ya', and I hope you do the same!"

A-Rank and a turn to charge, just to stun them for a turn? To me, that seems a little unreasonable. Those who see this technique with those modifications would laugh at it knowing the Melody Arm makes it completely useless, so I want at least some form of idolized versatility without making the technique too powerful or too weak. I took note of what you said and made it solely B-Rank, seeing as D- and C-Rank don't match the effect. The technique still only disorientates for a turn, and only affects an area of 10 meters, half of what you suggested. As for the user harming themself as well...still seems a bit pointless of a technique if you BOTH can't do anything.

So with what I have, can we agree on this?

The Inuzuka's face froze in mid-sentence, the details of a former Inuzuka clansmen once sparring with the strange new acquiantance surprising him. Just as the dark-skinned lad directed attention to the reasoning behind the lack of colour in his right eye, Goh would suddenly reminisce about the moment that had occured just not too long ago, when he remembered first seeing this weird attribute during his madness. However, even more so, the boy was blind, all due to the savageness of a fellow Inuzuka, giving further reasoning for his display of weakness previous to the conversation. The thought of Goh having to compensate on behalf of a clansman that he couldn't imagine doing so left him in a speechless state, an ear still focused on the boy's words. The mentioning of Goh's unbearable strength brought a brief smirk to his face, but he didn't want to appear too confident, so this emotion would only be temporary.

And then it came, "Arate Aokoshi", a name that Goh would have to imprint into his memory. From just the information alone, this boy would prove to be the first of his kind to meet the Inuzuka, his skills in this so called "Genjutsu" being something Goh preferred to deviate from during his training within the Ninja Academy. Pure speculation would force the Red Fang to believe that Arate substituted his lack of brawn with some form of excellence in Genjutsu, their opposition in abilities hopefully proving advantageous in the future. The mention of Medical skill would further this belief, Goh remembering the great intelligence that his mother possessed which lead to her profession as a Medic. This knowledge would be the very factor would enhance the boy's value to Goh, now believing that he had to protect his mother's honor by protecting this boy as well. Once he had finished his introduction, Goh's expression of seriousness would shift to ecstacy, now aware of what he had to do.   

"Hehehe, you're damn right this means something! Don't worry, kid. I may represent that reckless attitude that most Inuzuka clansmen possess, but as long as you are of importance to me, I won't lay a finger on ya'. I can promise ya' that!"

"Hahaha, atta boy!"

Goh and the newly formed acquiatance would begin their journey to the station, the boy now filled with silence once again.  It would seem that he would rather answer with his actions than his voice. This refusal to speak with the Inuzuka would appear as a display of shyness and discomfort on behalf of the dark-skinned lad, emotions that Goh would have to either change or adjust to if they were to ever become allies. Upon arriving at the destination, Goh would toss the flap that concealed the inner workings of the stand over his and the boy's head with ease, sniffing the aroma deeply as he craved the delicious taste of meat. Thrusting himself into a seat, Goh would wipe the drool from his mouth, as Raishin waited patiently behind him, hoping the strange boy would follow Goh's action as well. Mere seconds before their arrival, a man who assisted in running the stand would appear to greet them. 

"Welcome!!! How can we serve you today?"

Goh would chuckle with delight as he slammed his hand forward on the table, his mind focused entirely on defeating this hunger. Anything with meat in it would please this combatant, a variety of different choices being displayed just behind the restaurant worker on a wall. Upon scanning the list for something worthy of Goh's craving, Goh would nod as he motioned towards a specific cuisine and amount. With due time, Goh would hope this feast would lead to the opening of the boy, allowing some form of companionship to unfold.  

"I'll take two bowls of beef and noodles!"

"You're doing well with your training, my student, but you still have much to learn. From this point forward, we will begin a new segment of training, one that will be your most difficult. Companionship is the foundation that a village is built upon, and without it, that very society would crumble into chaos. Without bonds and loyalty, one will drown in that darkness known as loneliness. So, here is my proposition. Your task is not to return to this place unless you prove that you have what it takes to establish these bonds. This will be quite the challenge for you, Goh. Your future depends on it......"

The words of the man who discharged the young warrior from his guidance rang unceasingly in his mind, Goh's face frozen as he reminisced about that very moment. The resistance displayed by the stranger couldn't snap the wild being from his memory, but it would soon fade away regardless, the impact of the importance given to Goh through the words weakening his sturdy grip upon the boy's collar. Slowly, his chaotic aura depleted, his hair returning to its natural state and his teeth as conventional as they could be. Goh's animalistic pupils would stare at the boy, his expression revealing brief concern.

"Tch, that stupid old fart..."

A simple leap from the table to his canine companion's side, and Goh would comfort Raishin, assuring that his temper had calmed. Goh understood that he lacked in a variety of companionship, the only one's resembling any form of importance being his parents for giving birth to him, the Shirokiba tribe for raising him, Raishin for remaining faithful to him, and Hanyo Inuzuka for taking him under his wing as his student. To Goh, anyone and everyone else was a liability. But those words that Hanyo presented would surely affect the Inuzuka clansman, proving to some extent, Goh was not completely hardened. Upon restoring a smile upon Raishin's countenance, Goh would return his attention to the seemingly frightened boy, who was undoubtedly seeking either a chance to escape or reasoning for his potential death.

"It seems you lucked out, kid. Although you don't understand it now, you are officially important to me. Don't worry, as long as you don't step out of line, I promise I won't beat you to death, alright?"

A brief chuckle and a forceful thrust to the stranger's back, which was supposed to represent a "pat on the back", and the vengeful nemesis known as hunger would reveal its face to Goh again, the Inuzuka gripping his stomach once again. It would seem that utilizing chakra as a result of his building anger had intensified his need for food. Goh would remember the direction that the boy had motioned to, and would examine it, noticing the distinct ramen stand in the distance. Without hesitation, Goh would decide to kill three birds with one stone.

"Hey kid, let me buy you some ramen as collateral for being rude to ya'. Come on, my treat!"
