Ayumu relinquished the body and weight of his opponent from his legs as he launched him int the air at a frontal arc, and in that instant he came to a perfect, battle ready stand with a backwards roll. His purplish blue optics quickly locked themselves upon, however, by the time he could properly and correctly assess the situation at hand his opponent summoned a mighty wind. It was a wind that caught Ayumu off guard, a wind that took him by surprise as it nearly uprooted him from the earth, in truth he would have had he not stood his ground and slightly shielded himself with his forearms.
It was more then enough in the end, blowing him backwards off his feet, sending him tumbling and revolving along the ground until he was out of range of the winds breath. He rebounded to a sliding, backwards crouch, leaving excavations of earth beneath his feet. "Ninjutsu eh, guess that means you're afraid of my taijutsu. Ayu sunk to the earthen floor as he removed the black leg warmers from his shins and released the weights that had been wrapped around them.
He dug his feet deep into the earth as he took off, leaving an explosion of wind and excavations of earth in his wake. With his speed doubled he took off with heavy, fluent speeds and quickly closed the distance between him and his opponent.
Ayu soon placed himself within striking range, stepping forward with near flash speeds aiming to drive his fist into Ramui's stomach, yet, the attack itself never came. It was an afterimage that was placed at Ramui's forefronts. Ayumu himself was already behind his opponent reading to drive his feet into his back with a fierce drop kick.

Training Weights
Rank: C
Type: Accessory / Self
Special: 'C' ranked version is for Tai Tertiaries; 'B' for Tai Secondaries; finally, 'A' ranked version is for Taijutsu Primaries. When worn, all leg related Taijutsu is improved by the equivalent weight rank. When removed, a large speed boost is gained, equal to double the user's normal speed, and lasts for as many turns as the user had the weights equipped for. Can only be removed for a boost once per thread.
Description: Though an old fashioned training method, taijutsu specialists use these extremely heavy weights to increase their speed and movement. These weights are usually worn under the warmers on the user's lower legs. When removed, the user gains a great increase in their speed and mobility. The weights are marked with the kanji for "guts".
Cost: 1,000 // 5,000 // 10,000 (prices per sets of 2 weights!)
Rank: D, D {1/2}
Type: Supplementary / Ninjutsu
Range: 0 - 10 meters
Special: Flickering is forward-moving, meaning the user will rush almost instantly to wherever they are facing. The user can flicker once per thread, plus once more each time retrained.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
Domain: Shunshin - Universal Ninjutsu.
Shunshin-Sousuru (Flickering Image)
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary / Ninjutsu
Range: Shunshin/Self
Special: One image may be produced per Shunshin, plus one more each time this jutsu is retrained.
Description: Nearing their Shunshin mastery, the user has nearly mastered all the aspects behind the high-speed movement. Not only can they now move about freely at such impressive speeds with little restrictions, but they are now able to move so fast that copies of themselves are left behind, perfectly resembling their master for a brief moment in order to provide confusion for the enemy. Only chakra sensing methods will be able to discern the faux presentation, but everything moves so fast the opponent is often left without time to react, turning them quickly into a victim.
