The deafening crush of glass would echo throughout the air. The tough crack of the fiber would soak the concrete with fibers that would splatter across the road that would lead towards the young Yamanaka's designated sector. His eyes would fold under the stress of hearing such a horrible sound. As he would curl under the weight of the possibility of having crushed someone's capabilities of seeing, a slight smirk would hide behind his massive black collar. The lean dark arm that would curl into his chest would show his stress as he would slowly make his way into the sector. The glass and the weight of its possibility would quickly fade, allowing the slender shinobi to focus on the task at hand. He had been hired to relieve this small neighborhood of the excess trash that had begun to accumulate around the village. The distress of a war had the capabilities of doing a number of things to any given community. Kumogakure was no different. The number of differences that would envelope his village however would become apparent upon his first footstep into the designated area. Two golden oculars would lay their vision upon a literal mountain of what appeared to be books and papers. While much of it had been bagged, by a previous genin team no doubt, there were still a number of items wandering around the road with the assistance of the renegade breeze. The mounds of garbage bags that would lay around the street would appear to be nothing but work. Luckily he didn't have to complete this mission alone. The majority of this work would simply be dragging one bag of books and paper to one side of the road, away from the decaying homes that would take up one side of the mountain in which this street separated. The second portion of the work would equate to simply burning the paper and the large brown bags that housed them. The ashes would be swept away in the rain that would no doubt accompany the small cell of unacquainted Genin assigned to this mission.

"To make the mountains laugh." She would relay bluntly, her crystal clear teeth emerging from her lips as she would continue to stare at her younger brother. "Of course, this had never been done. It was unthinkable to make a massive pile of rocks actually laugh! Laughter needed emotion, and a sense of humor! Rocks have neither of those things if you weren't sure." She would remind her crowd playfully, a small hum of laughter rustling around the room. "However, there was nothing outside of the White Cloud's ability. He would accept the challenge, and prove that he had what it took to outwit the gods who would mock him so cruelly. With an incredible technique, the White Cloud would take the clouds of his own name sake and begin to twist them, and mold them to shape an incredible white cloud that would stretch over the entire sky. The power of his ability would reveal the home of the gods who lived above the clouds. As the cloud would twist around, it would slowly begin to grow black with the wicked intentions of the cruel gods. The more that the clouds would spin, the darker they would get, cleaning the gods of their intentions. Before long, the black clouds would begin to roar with the discontent of their purpose. It didn't end there. Before long those same clouds would begin to clash, creating an incredible bright light. That would truly reveal the faces of the mountains, the earth forever amused by the discontent of the heavens. This is why the ninja who live in Kumogakure no Sato must defend this land. The White Cloud, who had made the clouds black have left us with a constant laughter, and a constant reminder of our ability to question even the gods. You all must remember that this is the power of Kumogakure, and with every battle you must remember the will of the White Cloud. You all have the potential to be your own White Cloud, and give our mountains something to be proud of."

She would slowly reach for the candle that she had placed onto the ground. Lifting it up, the ember would dance gracefully in front of her lips as they would slowly pucker. Her eyelids would fold down in front of her eyes. With a quick exhale, the light would be gone, and the power of the flame would diminish. As Kurai would continue to stare out at his sister, he could feel the presence of his father, and the presence of the war. His eyes would close in unison with the darkness.

"Today, I'm going to tell the story of The White Cloud." She would belay, her comforting voice ringing into the ears of the children before her.

Her hands would fold onto her lap. Her thin, dark knees would cross over each other as she would lean forward, towards the crowd. The children seated on the floor would begin to murmur at the very mention of the story that none of them had ever heard before. It was evident that they were excited. Kurai had however. This was the tale that their father would tell them every time he had to leave the village for an extended amount of time. This was the story that would stick with him, and no doubt his sisters for the rest of their lives. The pain in Kurai's eyes would wash away with a simple diversion of his gaze from the light of his sister's face. Instead he would try his best to look outside. The view of the village's plummeting depths would no doubt keep him highly occupied while he would no doubt listen to his sister's rendition of the tale.

"There have been tales that men tell their families and friends in order to let them in on the secrets of their journeys. The endless forests of Hi no Kuni, or the constant fog surrounding Mizu no Kuni are an example of this. If a man does not relay this information to anyone, he will slowly be consumed with information, and that information will then leak into the minds of everyone that those stories were never told to," The children's murmuring had grown cold. "The greatest ninja ever known to grace these mountains was known as The Legendary White Cloud. He was a man of infinite wisdom, and even greater ability. He knew incredible ninjutsu that the world had never seen, and was willing to teach anyone who was willing to ask him. In fact, he was so powerful and so wise, that he was envied by even the gods. So in order to prove their superiority, they would confront him with they considered the most difficult task ever thought of..."

She would cease the story suddenly. The children at her vanguard no doubt suspended in the anticipation of what continued. However as Kurai would turn his head, curious as to the cause of the pause, the answer would stare him in the face. His eyes would meet with his sister's. Her gaze was crushing, despite the smile cemented onto her face. She wanted him to know that this next line was meant for him, despite the crowd separating them.

"What was the task?" Someone from the crowd would ask her bluntly.

The warmth of the room would increase as soft feet would steadily tread across the pale wooden floors of the room. The plain white attire of the hospital wardrobe would create a drab environment to say the least. However, the attire would not prevent this lot from exhibiting fun. White teeth peeking behind all kinds of lips would illuminate the room. The steady hands of these youngsters steadily patting against their knees as they would anticipate what it was that was coming to them. In the corner of the room, positioned directly against the window, would stand a tall dark figure. His arms crossed, along with his legs as his back would lean respectfully against the window pane. A dead look in his eye would observe what it was that was going on. As he would stand against the window, the absence of light onset by the night sky would deprive him of any real opportunity for observance. He would be left to be restricted to the voice of his sister, much like the rest of the students and ninja in the room. This crowd had collected a number of members, ranging from Chuunin to academy students, they all appeared to be below the age of twenty. However despite their age differences, the observation of a beautiful young woman would draw the attention of all of the boys who wanted to admire her, and all of the girls that wanted to mimic her.

As they would all seat themselves somewhere in the room, the dim lighting of their surroundings would slowly be illuminated by the spark of a match lit by this woman. Her face would instantly be exposed through the dim darkness. Short strands of platinum hair would contort into a number of figures across her dace. The pure white tendrils would sway slowly as she would reach for the candle directly in front of her. The flame would lower onto the wick, and slowly set it ablaze. As her pearl hued eyes would slowly rise to view her audience, her signature smile would blow a wave of ambiance onto the growing crowd. As her brother would accompany on this mission, an image of him would slowly begin to unfold into her minds eye. The image of a little bow, legs folded, eyes wide would confront her memory, her smile widening slightly as she would slowly observe the rest of the crowd given what little light she had.

His eyes would glance back at the tall young man, who looked as though he was ready to unleash the full force of his fist against the young face of the Ogon clansman. However, that wouldn't happen. This tunnel, despite the small speckles of light illuminating the floor was fairly dark. The eyes of the four of them had to adjust in order to see each other properly in fact. That would set things up perfectly for the next move that would get Kurai out of this situation as swiftly as possible. His palms would meet as his two narrow golden irises would stare directly into the young pupils of the young man. He would not bother to name the technique, these men having no idea how to perform jutsu anyway. However, what would follow would be a sharp white light covering the Genin's entire body. As his palms would thrust forward, as would the power of his jutsu. The light would quickly intensify, the face of the young man quickly converting from anger to fear as he would attempt to comprehend what was going to happen to him. However, in an instant, the light would cover the tunnel, a thick bright illumination thrusting its way down the tunnel as well as through the holes in the ceiling. The screams of all three of the young men would then begin to echo throughout the halls. Their hands would cover their eyes, while they would then tuck themselves to the sides of the walls, unsure of what to expect at all. Kurai however would not stick around for the effects to wear off. His thin frame would thrust himself around the massive man who had fallen to the floor, and straight towards the dog, yanking it from the ground from its underbelly. He would then tuck it into his arms, his feet swiftly carrying him through the abandoned tunnels towards the way that he had come. From here, it would be the animal collection agency.

"I said men don't hurt dogs. Only dogs hurt dogs," Kurai would repeat, his eyes narrowing as the words would slip from his mouth once more. "and since I see you have a few boyfriends, I can only assume that you're the bitch of the group."

The eyes of the young man would begin to crinkle into nothing but rage. A soft curling of his fingers into the palms of his hands would warn the shinobi of the man's temptation for violence. His legs would spread, and his shoulders would slowly curl as his neck would fall into his fluffy red scarf. The tight mesh shirt would begin to expand as his muscles would stretch; the work of his blood accelerating no doubt. As the man's lip would curl up and he would take a step forward, things would really show just how much he was heating up. The spots in the top of the passage would allow freckles of sunlight to glide across his face as he would make his way towards the other young man.

"I'm going to make you eat those words." He would threaten, his pace gradually quickening.

The words would come as though he could barely keep himself from screaming. His cohorts however would simply watch. Either unsure of how to react, or comfortable with what was going on. This couldn't have been the first time that he had gotten into a fight. The three of them appeared to be a part of the 'ruffian' crowd. Their familiarity with combat obviously being something they took pride in. However, as the young blue eyed man would make his way through the tunnel, closing ground between him and Kurai, it was clear that he did not intend to use the sword fastened to his hip. That was good. Bloodshed was something that Kurai could not afford on a day like this. However, when looking back at the two other men, who were also armed, there was no assurance that they would not engage with an opposing intention. As Kurai's eyes would focus back onto the muscular man, it was time to engage. He had reached him fairly quickly, his fists raised as he would appear to have some sort of boxing stance. This would leave Kurai with a simple, and overused plan, however considering his lack of ability at this point, it was the best option he had. Before moving to put up a guard, he would glance over at the small, unconscious boston terrier that would would lay defenseless behind one of the two rearguard thugs. He wasn't there to fight them, but instead there to collect the dog. It was only poor circumstance that he would happen upon the three men torturing it.

"What's that you said?"

The echoes would bounce off of surrounding metal that seemed to span for miles. It was a fairly cramped tube, but there was just enough sun to allow the four of them to see each other. The smell of rust would run all along these tunnels. The age was more than enough to make it unsafe, but what would really make these tunnels so forbidden was in fact their range. Just about everyone in the village knew that these catacombs were in existence, however not many were too eager about exploring them. It was a literal ant-farm. With an untold number of turns, this place could easily be considered an underground labyrinth. Kurai had not made his way too far into them before being confronted by the three man gang. They didn't appear to be ninja. While they certainly dressed like they were familiar of combat, their lack of hachigane would say otherwise. There was always the possibility of the three of them being academy students as well. They did not appear too much older than Kurai in the first place. As they stood shoulder to shoulder, it would be the one in the middle who would strike Kurai as the leader, it being he who had said something in the first place. The look in the massive blue eyes of the young man would only relay disdain. He was tall, and didn't appear to hold any sort of additional weaponry aside from what appeared to be a traditional katana sitting at his hip. He wasn't going to use it, not against a shinobi of his own village, at least that's all Kurai could hope for. He wore straight black pants, with wooden sandals elevating him just a bit above the ground. He wasn't too muscular, though it was clear that he would constantly participate in lifting, either recreational or professionally. This would serve as a sharp contrast to the tall, thin shinobi that would stand his counter. His arms would remain folded as he would take a step towards the young men, proving to them just how bold he was. He had insulted them once, but to repeat it would simply commence the inevitable combat that they would engage in.

A limitless amount of color would hang over the head of the shinobi. The sky creating a canvas of dismal and distracting colors that would no doubt include the possibility of today being ominously entangled in adventure. A black hood would ride along the back of this young man's neck. His rough platinum hair dancing underneath it as he would slowly make his way across the dangerous, mountainous terrain. With every step he could feel the butterflies in his stomach becoming more solidified. They had become iron.

Kurai had never known to be the type to get nervous, but considering who had summoned him, this meeting was far from predictable. It was the idea of unpredictability that would throw the Genin off. He had no sort of relationship with the Uchiha of his village, nor did his family. In fact, the only shinobi that he was familiar with were his family. This would leave today with two possible outcomes: his social circle would expand, or he was walking into some sort of trap. However, he could not refuse the beckoning of a Jounin, even if it was a trap. So as his dark narrow feet would force his thin frame towards a peak shrouded in storms, he would not allow himself to be erred. His hands would uncover themselves from his generous pockets. The sound of a thunder cracking across the the limitless legion of clouds above him unnerving him all the more.

Golden Arrow - Capable of moving at user's top speed. Normal Shintenshin moves slightly below this.
Golden Man - Eliminated. I'm sure there is capability in this jutsu becoming fathomable in some form considering the use of this jutsu, but perhaps a medium would be necessary?

Kurai's eyes would furrow into a narrow spectacle of aggression as he would stare at the massive collection of wood that would crowd the bottom of the village, near the small waterway running through the spine of his hometown. His folded arms would slowly stretch outward as he would make his way towards the collection of wooden boats that would appear to crowd the street. It was a considerable number of them. They all appeared to be constructed some time ago, the years having done as much as possible to them before eventually spitting them out of the water, forever doomed to stick to their splinters into concrete. As the lone shinobi would speculate, he would also be forced to formulate an answer to these abandoned ships. If he somehow had access to Katon, it would be easy to burn the wood to cinders, quickly dissolving the hard matter into ash. However, considering that lightning would be incapable of destroying items such as these, there would be little he could do other than smash them. However, considering that he did not have the power to smash them with his bare hands... he would need to do something create that would allow for that to happen. His fists would ball underneath his arms, and as his weight would shift from one foot to the other, he would make sure that he could actually get away with what it was that we wanted to do.

The location that was designated for the drop was all the way across the village... however the docks were no where near as far away. Sub-sequentially, this was also the location most known for the homeless of the village to reside. This would open two doorways for the Yamanaka clansman. His first option would be to move these ships to the docks in order to provide them to sailors who could fix them up and either sell them or use them themselves. His second option would be to donate them to those in need, perhaps making a makeshift shelter for the homeless two reside in until they were capable of alleviating themselves from their current situation. While it would not get rid of the items, it would convert them, no longer making them the trash that they once were. Kurai would sigh, making his way towards what seemed like a mountain of boats. At least twenty would stare down at him, waiting to be moved to a location better suited for them. He would launch himself into the air, landing eloquently on top of the first boat at the peak of the mountain. From there he would look out at the abandoned water way that would eventually lead to the open water, which would take him to the docks that he needed to go in order to give these boats away. It was from there that he would take the excess and provide them to the homeless shelter. The rest? He would recycle for whatever they could be used for later. The bottom of his sandal would place itself onto the corner of the boat seat, kicking it powerfully as he would send himself off of the top of the mountain with a graceful back flip, launching the boat into the water. He would quickly make his way across the water, leaping inside as he would slowly float away from the other boats. This was going to be a long day... he would need to put his game face on.
