It was the beginning of a beautiful day, the sun shining in through the multiple windows surrounding the inside of my house. Ready to start the day I left my house feeling way better than yesterday, the long sleep that I had that felt like days energized my body; still feeling the pain from the bruises that were all over my body. Treading through the lively village I was making my way over towards the new Gemstone Library that opened up a week or so ago. The conversation that I had with Max yesterday compelled me to go and research more information about the events that transpired years before my birth.

The enormous structure wasn't far from where I lived, I arrived at the library in a few minutes. Pushing through the doors I peaked inside absorbing the smell of the new place while my head frantically looked around like a animal running out of the forest into the city. I was here to research about the past wars that happened in my village or even included my village at all. The first person that I noticed unfortunately was the man from the other day, I vaguely remembered his name and to the best of my ability I managed to recall his entire name: Kekkai Kureno.

I began walking towards him cautiously, the last time we met he didn't seem threatening so I didn't know what to think. "My, my. You staying in Iwagakure for vacation or something? Never thought a tourist would want to visit a library instead of the more viral spots." I cooed moving closer to the red haired individual, five meters separated the two of us while I awaited his response.

Listening to what the female proposed I couldn't help but agree, kill two birds with one stone as they say. "Sure, I wouldn't mind. Let's go to Kumogakure first, try to get this mission over with then move onto Sunagakure. If that's alright with you guys of course?" I cooed, waiting for their response. This seemed like a good idea, the more the merrier right? It's always fun going with more then one more person, especially when the journey would prove to be quite the long one.

I arrived home from the long journey back from Kusa no Kuni, the land of little brats. That was the first time I babysat a kid since the day I became a full-fledged Genin. The entire process just annoyed me to no end, the journey from the Chūnin Exams to Kusa no Kuni and back here was irritating; especially when one was in charge of taking care of a snot-nosed teen. But, I wasn't lying when I said I was happy to be home. Trudging through the village my next destination was my dear Tsuchikages office.

I walked through the doors that led to the waiting room, all the while I looked around the entire room surprised how different it looked since the last time I was in here. This by no means looks like an office building, looks like our Tsuchikage has style haha. Style that I particularly didn't love all too much, but I was happy enough with the originality of it all. I doubted any other 'kage had something like this in their waiting room.

My bright blue oculars quickly found Rosa, a really cute lady who was the assistant towards none other then our Tsuchikage. Making my way to the front desk, I rested both of my hands on the wooden workspace. "Can you please tell Lady Tsuchikage that I'm here to see her! I need to talk to her about that kid I dropped off from the Chūnin Exams." I cooed, hoping that the Tsuchikage didn't reject my request... who knows what goes through her mind at times like this.

The speed that was produced by myself, coupled with how fast my opponent approached me guaranteed the fact that both of us were unfortunately knocked out after the two punches connected with each others jaw respectively. Both of us were sent flying in different directions, each landing on the floor with a loud "THUD" that was heard twenty meters in each direction.

I lied on the floor slowly opening my eyes while my right hand comforted the pain and swelling on my cheek. Shaking off the blow I slowly got up to my feet while I surveyed the area around me, my bright blue oculars located my friend who was on the ground just like I was a few moments ago. "Damn... that shook me up." I cooed, my voice a little shaky still trying to get my composure after being hit so hard.

"I wonder how many famous shinobi fought here before us...? This land was here long before we were even born into this world, imagine the history behind this little piece of grass that we're standing on?" I bellowed, my voice sounded intrigued as I was really into it, as well as thinking about the history of the place kept me distracted from the throbbing pain in my right cheek.

As the boy disappeared into the horizon I turned around deactivating my techniques and vanished into the wind. I had a lot of ground to cover before I got to Iwagakure, so I decided to move with a faster pace than before seeing as I was now by myself instead of being coupled with a little kid. I made sure to check my surroundings while leaving the Grass Country, I was surely not going to miss this shitty place.
