The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
A small, fashionable bar, opened during the Tsuchikage's previous reign. After her disappearance, Josephine kept the bar running, and it has now been reinstated as the shinobi missions centre.
The bar is decorated in a rather sumptuous, but tasteful style, with comfortable lounges and tables, while still conserving the formal air of a business place for the shinobi. Numerous pretty barmaids strut about the place, serving the most decadent wines and spirits, and receiving hefty tips in return.
Along the walls are posted and pinned various flyers and slips of information, many detailing official Iwagakure missions, but many more simply requests and problems pinned there by the townsfolk, or business owners. Come in, take a load off, then pick up a problem on your way out, as Josephine would put it.
♥ Any Iwagakure shinobi may take any mission posted within the bar. Simply choose one from the boards below, and bring it to the counter for approval.
♥ Visiting shinobi from other nations, or non-ninja may take any missions from the problem boards selection.
♥ Please do not RP the NPCs here.
♥ Upon finishing your mission, post here with a link to the completed mission, and you will be paid.
♥ Please do not be offended if you are asked for identification when ordering a drink, it's company policy. x
A series of memos, missions and messages from the officials and administration of Iwagakure. These papers are displayed further back from the jumble of the free-for-all problem boards, and are tacked up neatly.
These missions directly affect circumstances within the village. Shinobi will be acting on direct orders from the higher-ups of Iwagakure, and depending on performance, will influence the village's current standings.
Due to the import and actual visible effects of each mission, each may only be performed once, unless otherwise stated, but can be done with a partner or teammates.

What was this? A bar? Zaiaku had become accustomed to entering the previous Tsuchikage's stone lair when he was required to take out a mission. The new Tsuchikage seemed to be more elegant and classy, relocating from the dilapidated stone fortress to more upper-class buildings. As Zaiaku entered the bar, he paced toward a board which had various missions listed as well as their descriptions. He turned to see that he was not alone in the bar, spotting a fashionable woman with orange hair nearby. He assumed her to be in charge of everything here. "I'll take this one," he announced to her whilst poking his finger on the problem 'we hate bugs'.
"Rather you than me, hon. No slacking now!" The woman called, gesturing approval at the pretty blonde shinobi. It had been nice to return to operating as a simple, fashionable bar, but Josephine couldn't deny she enjoyed the more steady flow of ninja seeking missions.
Not that they'd had all that many problem submissions, as of yet. But before too long she knew she'd be dying for some peace from the complaining citizens.

I trilled, marching into dear Josephine's bar. I hadn't been in here since my short visit to tell her to get back to dealing with missions. She'd seemed annoyed at me, as ever, but she was terribly good at her job. "We worked so terribly hard, you know." I said with a dramatic sigh. I slid neatly into a seat at the bar, gesturing for a glass of wine. Admittedly, i hadn't exactly performed any 'labour', persay, but i'd put the effort in. Perhaps.

Kouhei strolled into the bar his eyes moving around and taking everything in. When he felt properly satisfied about seeing everything there was in the establishment he made his way over to the board which listed all the possible jobs he could take. This was Kouhei’s first time in the establishment and now that Kouhei was officially a shinobi of the village he was hoping it would not be his last. It took him a moment to find one that he liked, but when he finally did he grinned widely. The Genin then turned to regard the woman who seemed to be in charge of the place. He dipped his head in a small bow before saying, ”I’ll be manning the shop for Madam Iva. I would appreciate it if you let her know I am on my way.” Kouhei hesitated a moment to made sure she had understood him and would do as he said and then promptly nodded his head in thanks and left. Maybe if he got lucky he would make some friends at the store!
name: man my shop! rank: d description: i haven't had time recently to make an appointment to get my hair done. it's a state, really, but the shop's been awfully busy. i'm thankful, but i simply must take care of myself! will you watch over my jewelry store while i go to the hairdresser? objective: work in iva's jewelry shop! (sell sell sell!) client: madame iva reward: 20 exp, 500 ryo
"Poor woman. She looked like she needed a break. Don't let her down now, kid!" Josephine called, nodding permission at the blonde genin. She then turned to the Tsuchikage, her genial expression replaced with nothing short of a glare.
"You haven't paid off your tab. Maybe i should take your mission payment, hmm?" The manager said malevolently. Regardless, she waved the tranny away, assuring payment would be incoming.

Kouhei walked once more into the establishment. The place was as empty as ever and Kouhei wondered if the only people who came to Josephine’s were shinobi looking for work. You would think more people who come just to socialize. Part of the reason the Genin had found his way here was in hopes of mingling with some of the other ninja. However, since there wasn’t exactly anyone to converse with any way he might as well find something to do, like work. Kouhei sauntered over to the board listing all the jobs available and perused through them. When had finally found something that appealed to his sense of taste he made his way over to the proprietor. He smiled at her in a carefree manner as he said, ”I believe my last employer should have contacted you with the success of my mission. I would rather not waste any time and get right on to the next one, lots of people to see and friends to make and all that. I will be helping out the Mister Cid. Let’s hope me being underage isn’t a burden.” Kouhei waited to make sure the owner had understood his request and then left once more to begin his mission.
name: fetch quest! rank: d description: i heard they started stocking that wine in that one shop. the good stuff, you know? none of that watered down rubbish. get me a bottle or two, would you? only they won't let me in their shop anymore. you'd think a liquor store would be more open minded about drunk customers. objective: bring 'that wine' to cid! (enabler!) client: cid reward: 20 exp, 400 ryo
I sighed, perched on a bar stool, as Josephine waved a mission slip in my face. That foul woman, Yubaba. She couldn't just send me a message, or come tell me in person, no, she had to post a mission about it. I knew, obviously, i had to get it done, and truly, i was going to! Just not at the moment. "Oh darling, why can't you do it? You're fabulous at paperwork." I said to Josephine, finishing my glass of wine and moving to pour myself another.
"I don't think so. Get going, slacker." The manager said, removing the glass from my hands, and replacing it with the mission slip. I grumbled, slipping gracefully from my seat and marching to the door. I turned to give her one last dramatic look. "When i am buried alive under a mountain of paper work, and die, and the new kage is a tyrannical dictator, who shuts down your bar and sends you off to do slave labour, you only have yourself to blame." I said, pointing a menacing finger at the woman, before tossing my hair and leaving the bar.
name: paperwork! rank: d description: get that paperwork done. you know miss rosa has no idea how to fill it in. i'm talking to you, tsuchikage. you can't just ignore it forever. objective: finish the village paperwork! (yawn!) client: village elder yubaba reward: 25 exp, 0 ryo
and then he's drunk, and never even told her that he cares, so they took the registration, and the car keys and her shoes, and left her with an invitation to the blues

Its been a few days since Ryuu last met the Tsuchikage who went by the name Ms.Coco or who he'd call Ms.Crimson Lip Lady, though his hands were still slightly sore from detaching the levers from the old gates of Iwa he was still up for doing missions. At first he had no idea were the new location for picking up missions, asking around is the ideal thing to do when looking for information so the shinobi did just that. Once he found out the location known as Josephine's he went straight there to pick up a mission, upon entering the establishment the shinobi in blue approached the bar to pick up a mission.
"Hello there I'd like to accept this here mission." He said as he casually handed it to the barkeep.
name: search for sand! rank: b description: the only location iwagakure doesn't currently possess, i need you to find sunagakure darlings! this is strictly a reconnaissance mission, please try not to be seen. do not interact with any sand shinobi, merely find me that village, and return safely! objective: ascertain sunagakure's location! (carefully!) client: tsuchikage coco reward: 100 exp, 3000 ryo
Though this mission was meant for shinobi of a higher standards Ryuu was certain he could met the requirements for this mission.
She frowned, trying to place the young shinobi. Then it fit. "Been waiting for you, hon. Here's your payment for tearing down the old gates with the Tsuchikage." Josephine said, pushing the ryo towards the boy. She then turned her attention to the requested mission. "Sorry kid, we're gonna need a few more of you to take it on." The manager said apologetically. There really weren't too many official village missions available for the young things just yet. "Anything else catch your eye though?"
[ryuu - mission paid!]
and then he's drunk, and never even told her that he cares, so they took the registration, and the car keys and her shoes, and left her with an invitation to the blues
