Just curious but how would this apply to burning chakra that fuels Genjutsu and how quickly would it break the illusion?

Blast City.

It was a strange and unpleasant place to put it politely. Between the chagrin smell of smoldering sulfur and the stench of common folk stewing within the volcano’s wind sheltered walls, it was needless to say that the city possessed a formidable offense against the nose.

Despite all this having been discovered only after his arrival, Hachirou had remained with the city walls, bound more so by determination than anything else. He had been attracted by its curiously natural yet obviously man made existence and had made it a point of preference to see the city with his own two eyes – even if it so greatly displeased and offended his nostrils.

Although Blast City was hailed as one of the world’s magnificent wonders, he found the people to be… disappointing in more ways than not. The women were sheltered, both from today’s traditions and evidently also from today’s self hygiene practices. Their assets were rather bland at best. The men were of no exception, mostly ignorant of the world and unreasonably suspicious of the unexplained, consisting primarily of the “block head” stereotype – large and bulky, dim witted and dull.

The list of grievances go on and on, but for the sake of time let us fast forward.

Night had fallen and the city had settled down. Its people having mostly withdrawn in doors, both the stench of sulfur and sapiens had subsided to a degree. It was now that Hachirou dared to venture outside, meandering slowly from what few shops remained open beneath the moon lit skies. Having thoroughly explored the city to his heart’s content the day before, his primary goal was very simple. He sought sustenance – something so easy to make that not even the imbeciles of this god forsaken town could botch it up.

That said, he’d swerve within the folds of the first ramen stand to cross his path, seating himself precariously at the stool to the far right against the wall. Having inspected the facility and finding it to his likings, he’d place an order for noodles – without onions, with one soft boiled egg and with tender beef strips – left uncooked to temper with himself within the steaming soup provided.

The Way of The Watcher

Type: Passive / Specialized Taijutsu / Archery

Special: One must know this tech to learn any tech of equivalent rank in it’s tree. Highest rank known determines the distance in which they can fire arrows, as well as the speed at which they move, while standing still. Keep in mind this type of technique requires the user to be still while shooting, which in turn rewards them with increased accuracy, coming forth in the form of faster arrow speed. Does not work on automatic or modern bows, that do not require the archer to pull and hold before each shot, as these fire the same regardless of the user's skill or speed.

Description: One of the three distinct styles of the bow is known as 'The Watcher'. Employing patience, careful positioning and a steady, strong hand, the user is capable of launching a missle of death over a vast distance at swift speeds.

The Long Shot

Type: Supplementary / Specialized Taijutsu / Archery
Range: See special!
Stamina: Very Low - Very High
Special: This modifying technique allows the user to focus their sights on a single spot or target, enhancing the ability for one to hit it's mark, and thus, increasing their range. The technique requires the user to remain entirely still while they focus but grants them the ability to observe the tiniest of differences in an environment. Range is determined by the highest rank of 'The Watcher'. Highest rank known determines the distance bonus the archer enjoys as a result of this technique.

Description: By focusing out everything around them the user gains the ability to track movement with near perfect accuracy. This ultimate tunnel vision leaves their peripherals highly prone to attack but nothing escapes the small section their eyes are so fiercely keyed on. Such a technique is incredibly useful when firing through mist, smoke, the darkness or just vast distances where such minute changes make a difference.

The Power Shot

Type: Supplementary / Specialized Taijutsu / Archery
Range: See special!
Stamina: Very Low - Very High
Special: This modifying technique allows the user to take some extra time and put extra power in the arrows. Must be standing still while firing, but has been known to penetrate shields of equal rank and lower. The bonus power is equivalent to highest rank known within this technique. Range is determined by the user's highest rank in 'The Watcher'. Highest rank known also determine the delay, or waiting time the archer must take as they charge their strike.

Description: Mastering the art of bonus tension is one of the many overlooked fundamentals of being an archer. By holding out past the point of firing, one can enhance the arrow far beyond it's initial damage.

The Crippling Shot
Rank: D, C, B, A, S
Type: Supplementary / Specialized Taijutsu / Archery
Range: See Special!
Stamina: Very Low - Very High
Special: This modifying technique allows the user to target a sensitive portion of the targets body and fire an arrow directly through it. If the arrow strikes, it does so in such a way to cripple the area temporarily. Range is determined by the user's highest rank in 'The Watcher'. Highest rank known determine the duration of the inoperability; if any part of the head is struck and the victim happens to survive, the stunning effect will take over the whole body. Cannot be combined with 'The Power Shot'.

Description: Through a combination of physiological knowledge and patient target stalking, as well as incredible accuracy, the user can effectively cripple a target.

HOSATSU – 375

Kihakuya (Spirit Arrow)
Rank: D, C, B, A, S
Type: Nintaijutsu / Offensive / Hosatsu
Range: Self
Chakra: Low - Massive
Special: Increases the potency of a fired arrow by an amount equal to rank of the technique.
Description: Not only are the users of Hosatsu talented Taijutsu artists, but followers of the style are able to imbue their arrows with their own chakra. The arrows, filled with the user's chakra, become both more powerful and more stable, increasing the piercing power of arrows fired. The major downside to this effect is the double drain of the shot, using up both Stamina and Chakra. Sometimes the reward is worth the risk, though. Beyond that, users of Kihakuya have the ability to further enhance their arrows, but at the additional cost of chakra.

Ya no Keiteki (Whistling Arrow)

Type: Nintaijutsu / Offensive
Range: ---
Chakra: High
Special: Doubles the speed of a fired arrow.
Description: Speed is often critical to success. With this enhancement, the Hosatsu tactician will utilize their chakra to dramatically decrease the wind resistance that an arrow meets. As the arrow is sent flying through bow shot, the sound of the arrow whistling through the air is often the only thing an opponent recognizes before an arrow is piercing through them.
Domain: Hosatsu, must have Kihakuya 'B' Rank.


Tenrai Sendou (Divine Guidance)
Rank: B
Type: Nintaijutsu / Offensive
Range: Up to 3x the range of a fired shot.
Chakra: High
Special: Allows the user to consciously direct a fired arrow utilizing her chakra.
Description: Once fired, an arrow has only one trajectory - unless enhanced by this technique, that is. Filling an arrow with chakra, the user then fires it. From there, the user may control the trajectory of the arrow, using chakra to guide the arrow's shot. As long as the arrow remains within the user's shot range, then the user may control that for up to 3x the distance the arrow would normally be fired. For example, if the user has a 30 meter range, then as long as the arrow remained under 30 meters away from the user, it could chase an opponent for up to 90 meters.
Domain: Hosatsu, must have Kihakuya 'B' Rank.

KOUSUKU NO SHUNPO – 125

Shunpo (Flashing Light Steps)
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary / Taijutsu / High-Speed Movement
Range: 0 - 10 meters
Stamina: Low
Special: Shunpo is a high-speed movement in which the user travels in a linear fashion from one point to another. Usually facilitated with some sort of distraction (smoke bomb, explosion, or something of that nature to obscure one's vision), the user of the Shunpo can, in some cases, appear to have simply teleported from one location to another. The user can Shunpo once per thread, plus once more each time retrained. One cannot attack or perform techniques during Shunpo.
Description: Shunpo, a Taijutsu master's response to the Body Flicker Technique, relies solely on the user's ability to harness their inner ki and gain enough stamina to withstand the sudden strain imposed on one's legs. However, once properly trained, the Taijutsu Type will find their legs moving at speeds unknown to common man, to the point most would make the foolish mistake of assuming one is using Shunshin. However, unlike that chakra inspired run, Shunpo is pure stamina and movement skill, allowing for tighter, quicker, and more reactionary movements essential for someone that relies on movement. Although Shunpo itself moves in a single line, its many variations is what makes it so lethal.

Shunpo-Kyuk (Light Step Shimmer)

Type: Passive / Taijutsu / High-Speed Movement
Range: Shunpo!

Special: Gives the user the option to perform a Shunpo that allows the user to side-step around at high speeds.
Description: Useful for evading attacks or moving in and confusing an opponent, Kyuk, allows the Taijutsu Master to do whatever they desire with their newfound zigzagging/shimmying/side-stepping powers.
Domain: Shunpo - Universal Taijutsu.

Special: Affects an area around the source of genjutsu rather than specific targets.
Description: This technique allows the user to erase any visual or auditory trace of specific objects within the appropriate range. The objects concealed must remain within range of the source of the genjutsu for effects to retain their full duration. When initially trained up to one object may be concealed. One additional item can be concealed per retrain. This jutsu cannot be applied to living things.
