It was bright today, just like many other days. The sun beamed down rays of hope that were untouchable, but felt nonetheless. These bright rays agitated Siku, because his eye that was covered by the bandage was tense, and gave Siku some pain. Here he was, trying to enjoy himself by taking a stroll outside for some minimal light, and then he gets overwhelmed. He made his way from his home to a building that had two roofs, like it was built, and then a house was built on top of the roof, a traditional way to design a building.
He sat on top of the roof, with much shade keeping the sun from his face and body, he rested here looking at the busy village below. People were doing things to get food ready and prepared, kids ran around noisily while playing, the chorus of life was speaking.
It was rather annoying yet appeasing at the same time. It could soothe the ears, and also disturb their silence with sudden noises of someone dropping clay pots, or the bark of a dog that had it's tail stepped on by a person who is whistling obnoxiously. But the smooth noise of the functional village made Siku calm and collective, as he closed his eyes.
His body was wrapped in black bandage, which made Siku look dark and menacing, but he wasn't a bad person, he was just different. His family was killed, and he knew the darkness of death from that point on, and wrapped himself up to forever endure that burden. His eye was also a burden, and it held no special powers like the other clans did. It almost made Siku jealous, but he didn't care what others had, he only knew what he didn't.
He started dozing off into his subconscious, thinking of his entire life in a collage of happiness, sadness, insanity, and silence. His recent lifestyle was silent and it was relaxing that way, nothing bugging him, except the fact that he needed to become a better ninja. But good things needed patience, and right now, he was more entertained with the thought of imagining himself in a few years, becoming a very strong addition to Konoha's defenses. He would protect the village, so that nobody would lose their family like he did, that was for sure.
It was in his own sadness that Siku realized why he shouldn't be sad, but glad that now he knows the suffering of losing ones family, that he feels so strongly of protecting the others. He is not specifically inclined to do this for anyone specific, but he does it anyways because he is becoming a ninja, so it his job to help protect the village and it's people. It isn't his main objective to protect the families specifically, his main objective in mind is to become better with his grasp and use of Genjutsu.
Siku liked the idea of torturing people by making them think something is happening to them that really isn't. And while they are distracted, he and his fellow team, when he finally gets assigned to a team, can begin to position themselves and attack a distracted foe. And when his Genjutsu won't help him, Siku plans to learn other Jutsu as well, especially the one's that allow you to summon creatures, or so Siku remembers hearing from some higher-up's that work for Konoha, Chuunin.
He overheard them as they walked to the Hokage's office talking about how they spectated someone summoning a large lizard that ravaged a group of ninja in one strike. Siku liked the idea of summoning something to fight along with him, since if he became skilled enough, he could use Genjutsu after summoning the creature and then while under the Genjutsu, the creature was free to attack. Or so Siku thought, maybe he was wrong, it was all theory, not fact.
