Amegakure was the only thing I had ever thought of as home. It was the only place I've ever felt as home. The black, rolling thunderclouds choking the sun's rays. The sun fighting with it's army of light to bust through to find the earth. The almost relentless downpour, the torrent of moisture that would constantly fill the air, cover the ground. The scent that filled the air of fresh rain, the tone of the thousands upon thousands of descending drops of water. The thoughts of home when I closed my eyes were beautiful, serene.
After reuniting with a member of my family after being alone for years, I was finally find some sense of happiness. I yearned for my home, and now it was finally almost in sight. Masuyo claimed to know how to return Amegakure no Sato to it's former glory, to save it, bringing it back into the modern world. That's why I followed him; he gave me hope. Hope was something powerful. Without it, i was lifeless, simply drifting through the last few years without a thing to do, without a goal, without joy. By coming here, gathering all of the Kekkai and marching on our home, I was putting my life on the line. But I didn't care.
I was finally going home.
The docks are where sat, upon a wooden crate. Within the crate was something I didn't really care about. I sat, hood drawn, masking my face, my eye and patch, my radiant hair. I wore my armor, colored a dark color, as well as wearing my all of my weapons. I was geared up and ready to go to war. My posture upon the box was with crossed legs, eyes closed, softly meditating. I heard almost everything. The lick of the water against the wooden docks, the shuffling of some of the night dock workers, the echoing of the night creatures. It was cool, I felt, the soft sea-breeze blowing against me. That's why I too wore my clothing close, even though I was used to the cold. It was comforting, something I needed to steel my nerves has I waited upon these docks for the fateful ship bearing Masuyo and my brethren. I couldn't wait.
Something broke up the gentle cadence of the choppy waves. I opened my eye and looked up. A large boat was looming on the horizon, and I stood instantly. It had to be Masuyo's ship, as it wasn't heading for the docks. It was heading for the forests. I stood and walked calmly, but at a slightly brisk pace. I kept my hand near my high, where my blade lay, sheathed, just in case I would find that my family was not on the boat, but assailants. I didn't expect that, though, and smiled lightly. The hood was still angled to conceal my features, everything hidden but my mouth.
He watched the group land, coming upon them silently. His smirk increased to a large, full blown grin. All of these people were collected, collected together to bring back his home, all bonded by the same love and pride in their nation. “We can do this, guys!” gayly shouted one of the younger ones, the naivety and innocence in the voice bringing a twinkle to his eye. He longed for that sound, that young emotion once again, but it was no longer there. It was no big deal to him, though. His fist too thrust into the air, hood falling back, mouth beaming widely, joy shining within his sage eyes. The bright orange-red that showing his Kekkai-Tenzō heritage."For Amegakure!"
