The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.

The girl sprang into action, seemingly dashing towards him. He grinned; another arrow manifested along the bow, made completely out of lightning. She had jumped into the open, without any cover. His full speed arrows of lightning would most likely not be stopped by her in a conventional way. The arrow he had prepared, he let fly, instantly creating a second before letting that one fly straight at her chest as well, behind the other. No time was spared for a third projective to be crafted out of his chakra and heading straight for the coverless girl dashing towards him in the open.
Just saying, Shunshin can't really be used how you did it the first time. You had no distraction; it's not a burst of speed, it's a distraction with some chakra to make the illusion of a burst of speed. So I'm gonna go ahead and interrupt you there since you're basically a walking target.

A young girl would be his opponent, it would seem. No biggy. I think I've got her. Yūrei would ponder as he observed her. She crafted a whole slew of handseals, releasing a kind of fog or mist from her mouth to attempt to block his path. Then she dashed away [40 meters away from Yūrei] before hiding from his sight again. After she turned the corner he began his own hand seals, forming a great number17 before pausing to collect himself.
She could play this defensive game all she wanted. He wasn't afraid. In the meantime, he would look up, peering at the several dozen buidlings around him, choosing a particularly large one. He jumped up towards it, using a ledge to swing higher until he was standing within a portion of the building that was missing, a large hole in the wall. From his vantage point, he was a bit closer to his target15 meters away but was now a ways above her as well20 meters. From his new height he could see her quite well, the rock now He manifested his first prepared technique, a bow of lightning flowing into his hand. Grinning softly, he drew the bow to his cheek and loosed one arrow upon her.

Today would be quite the day. Yūrei found himself in a strange place, the results of what seemed to be a great battle. Massive rocks were strewn about the place, most likely the missing parts of the remaining building, all fractured and torn, filled with holes. The city seemed ultra-modern, yet was in such a state of ruin one would expect it to be an ancient city of a civilization long gone. Yūrei shook his head in disgust; such a beautiful place should not be in such a state of being.
He put his hand softly upon his blade, still sheathed at his side, and glanced around. When he had spotted his opponent, he still decided not to draw the blade. For now, he would watch.

Iaijutsu (Art of Mental Presence) Rank:D Range:Close (0m ~ 5m) Type:Supplementary Handseals: -- Chakra Consumption: Low to cast and sustain
A defensive nature of fighting, all Iaijutsu practitioners will tend to stand in closed positions, sending chakra throughout their bodies to quicken response times. this leaves little openings and makes sure to make the least amount of wasted movement possible so as to remain solid like a rock. Once the swordsman has understood the basics of fortification, they move on to more complex defensive patterns.
Kawasu (To Parry) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defensive Handseals: -- Chakra Consumption: Low
Commencing from any position, the practitioner draws their sword and moves to deflect or simply block the strike, then resheathes. As the user becomes more proficient in Iaijutsu, more strikes can be defending against in a fluid movement, before they are overwhelmed by the attacks.
Note: This technique serves as a counter against multi-strike based techniques. A maximum of three techniques can be parried per use at an incredibly fast, almost "simultaneous" rate. It should be noted that these parries must be plausible, and simply because a user can defend relatively quick does not mean the are immune to being struck. As state, this will be widely considered as a multi-strike counter.
Rasen Karasu-Zuki (Spiral Parry Thrust) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defensive Handseals: -- Chakra Consumption: Mid
Commencing from any position, the practitioner proceeds to unsheathe their blade and quickly strike down an incoming projectile, either slicing it in half or redirecting its path away from the user. Useful when faced with opponents that prefer to strike from a distance, as long as the user is able to spot the incoming threat in time. Once the user becomes more proficient at judging the distance, speed and direction of projectiles, they will be able to cut down even more projectiles in a fluid movement.
Note:Up to 15 projectiles can be parried per use
Ridairekuto (Redirect) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defensive Handseals: -- Chakra Consumption: Mid
Commencing from any position, the practitioner proceeds to unsheathe their blade and quickly strike against an incoming physical attack. But, instead of simply blocking it, the user will instead use the opponents momentum against them, which in turn forces them off balance and leaves them vulnerable to a strike afterwards. While off balance, the opponent will be unable to perform actions involving high amounts of dexterity, due to the surprise of being knocked off center.
Note:Once parried, the opponent is left off balance and unable to find their footing for half a turn.
Busoukaijo (Disarmament) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defensive Handseals: -- Chakra Consumption: High
Commencing from any position, the practitioner strikes with the hilt or blade at the opponent's wrist, mid-strike or not, forcing them to drop any item or weapon they are holding, then the user sheathes. This method is used to prevent the user from becoming overwhelmed by a stronger foe, or to simply provide the opportunity for a successful follow-up attack.
Note: This technique will automatically cause the victim to let go of their weapon if struck.

Nanosaizu no Dokumushi (Nano-Sized Venomous Insects) Rank: S Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: x2 High to use, High to sustain Nanosaizu no Dokumushi is a Ninjutsu utilized by the Aburame clan. The clan member will perform a ritual (through use of Human Cocoon ICly, lasting for 7 days OOCly (meaning your character cannot be used), changing the Kikaichuu in their body into a new breed. While they lose their ability to absorb chakra, they are now capable of poisoning those touched by the user. They spread 25% throughout the body during each post, with 100% being the highest, killing the victim. If the user touches the infected location, they can reverse the effects of the technique. Once this change happens, it is impossible to turn back.
Note: Ningen Mayu is required to use this technique. Knowledge of this technique is extremely rare, and thusly a user must perform a special s-rank quested in order to obtain it.

The rain made him think the world was crying.
What a cliche idea... Yūrei chided himself silently. Perhaps the planet was crying. Mother Earth was pretty old, she probably had a lot of woes and worries. But, really, why would she cry? She was so beautiful, so big, so never-ending. Were they even tears of sorrow? Could they, perhaps, be tears of joy? Elation? Pride over how man had advanced?
Well, hardly. It seemed like every step forward was followed by three steps back. Once civilization came, war came. Once chakra was discovered, and used from good by it's ancient discoverer, it too would soon be perverted. Forcing brother against brother, clan to clan, bloodline to bloodline, nation to nation. Humanity at it's core was perverted and ever-perverting.
And Yūrei's...experiences just cemented his ideas more and more with each passing moment. Life was just a struggle, and there was really no reason to struggle in the first place. He was only living right now because, despite all his strange, macabre thoughts, he didn't feel like dying. Like it wasn't his time to die, yet. But, fighting his inner demons constantly brought his desires to draw nearer to the sins that plagued his mind.
"I can win this fight."
He walked about the country, aimlessly, speaking not to anyone in particular. He often thought allowed or spoke to his surroundings. Perhaps the birds, or bees, or air cared what he had to say. Didn't seem like anyone else did. The ground was, oddly, slightly dry. Even with a week's worth of dry weather, the soil was still so soaked with water that the sun had yet to fully evaporate it. Yūrei loved the rain. It was one of the reasons he didn't leave Amegakure. The past week, he had missed it. It made life so much more dull, without rain.
And almost as if in response to his earlier thoughts, rain fell from the sky. It was the usual Amegakure rain; a downpour so heavy one would think a great lake or ocean had dropped from the sky. Something caught Yūrei's eye from his peripheral vision- orange. He locked his gaze upon it, about twenty feet to his left. What could that be? He stepped up his pace in that direction. It was...a boy. A young one, probably a year or two Yūrei's junior.
Orange hair? In Amegakure? "Could he be a Kekkai?" The words were soft, spoken only to himself. As he drew closer, he saw there was another person too. He could hear parts of the conversation, but didn't really want to interrupt. But, he didn't want to stand on the sidelines, watching them alone. Before he did anything, he checked his person. Good. His Amegakure headband was wrapped snugly around his arm, proudly proclaiming his allegiance. If this boy was indeed Kekkai, then he would recognize the symbol carved into the metal. So he called out, not threateningly, but loud enough to be heard over the rain.

All at once there was a rustle, a quake, a slight tremor, and the sound of many shifting objects. What was once rubble in front of Yūrei was now a cascading torrent of mud, violently displacing earth, trash, and everything in between. That was...quite the surprise. he thought, nearing the new river. What a powerful ability. Yūrei wasn't aware that the Hidden Rain had powerful users of the earth release. He smirked; earth was the antithesis to his own lightning powers. Maybe he would challenge this other shinobi?
"It's like sweeping all those horrible memories and mistakes under the rug, isn't it?"
His gaze followed the voice, up the river about thirty feet. At the mouth of it was a girl, a young girl. She was shorter than him, with long blonde hair, and, well, quite the rack. She was a cutie, but Yūrei wasn't much of a flirt. Girls made him kind of nervous. Most of the time. But that was just because he had more experience fighting than conversating with the ladies. He swallowed the lump rising in his throat.
"Nice move. I don't think any of my jutsu can help with the clearing or rebuilding, though. Sorry about that."
Civilian Fortification Rank: D Description: While Amegakure is now habitable, a considerable degree of the village is still in ruins, disregarded by its former leader. You need to travel down into the civilian area(s) and help rebuild and remodel any broken homes or repairs. Workforce: 1-2 Reward: 100 Exp & 500 Ryo
Rubble Rubble Rank: D Description: Having, once again, been used as a battleground for an all out war, a great many buildings and houses lay in ruin. We need all of our able bodied shinobi to venture out and into the streets and pick up any debris, trash, and maybe a corpse or two. Workforce: 1-2 Reward: 100 Exp & 500 Ryo
War never changes. And, more often than not, neither do political leaders. There will always be tyrants, there will always be kings, there will always be good, loving men. And even good men can be tyrants.
Yūrei had begun to lose his faith in "good men". All his time in Amegakure, he only knew evil men, like the "king" AU-2, and men forced to blindly follow evil. The village had been an uncultured wasteland of aggression and sin. This all, he mostly accredited to AU-2. But the rest of the credit he gave to simple entropy. When things had the chance of falling apart, and they always had such an option, then they would. Yūrei almost thought that a lot of the citizens were to blame. Even if society as they knew it fell apart around them, it was still their goal, their responsibility, to stay strong with their moral values. But also, morals was something unfortunately missing in the shinobi world.
He ruminated upon all this as he sat upon the husk of what used to be a small family home. The amount of disrepair the village was in disgusted Yūrei. He wasn't born in this nation, nor was any of his family here, but he still had come to love it. And now that it was free from it's tyrant, thanks to the actions of the Kekkai and Tenzō clans, it was time to rebuild. Would this cycle of destruction and reconstruction ever end?
A scoff slipped from his lips, followed by his mouth contorting in a grimace. He looked at all the rubble. Might as well get to work.
Uchiha are still on the banned list for now Tohma. You might have to switch into a different KG/clan.
Almost positive the ban list doesn't matter at the moment, considering in Genbu's original post about the character swapping he gave an example of one becoming a Hyuuga, which is on the ban list as well.
