Special: Dominion extends 10 meters in every direction of the user, and goes up 10 more with each rank learned.

S: 50 meters

Description: The basis behind the majority of satetsu techniques lie in the user's ability convert their chakra into magnetic waves in order to control the very grains of iron sand all around them. 'Iron Sand Dominion' is just as its name implies, a fundamental supplementary jutsu of the Zantetsuken clan that allows the user to intermingle their chakra with that of nature, harmonizing the two in order to create complete control over the magnetic waves around them. Once this link is achieved, the door is opened for greater creations to be made.

At what speed does the sand for this Jutsu travel at when you make it attack? or move it to spot A to spot B? For example, does it travel at the speed of a kunai or like at the speed of a arrow shot from a compound bow? Or can it be measured in, and comparable to meters per second? And does rank factor in? Also at what rank will you be able to build your own gourd out of your own iron sand?


And a second question is, just HOW MUCH volume of liquid/sand/whatever else can be kept in C, then B, and A ranking Gourd individually? Like for example, a bath tub volume? Or can it be compared to pool sizes?

There aren't any forms of speed that that is made for that technique, and many other ones like that. Though, I assume that they will be added sometime in the future of the site. Sorry, Kanayama.

This is true; there aren't any specific forms of measurement for speeds. In the end, like a lot of things, it falls to the honor system. Try to be realistic and use logic, that's about all I can say. =/

There isn't a clear cut answer to any of those questions available, but it can be assumed that with every rank gained in the listed technique that the sand's speed would also increase. At an S-rank level, the technique would be significantly faster than regular B-rank techniques that don't have a focus on speed, which is a way you can judge how fast the sands move without having a specific number attached to it.

As far as the gourd, I'd say that Gaara's gourd was probably B-rank. A C-rank one would probably be half that where as an A-rank would be twice the size.
