A-RANK GATE SEARCH – SUNAGAKURE
Suna, or Sand, has been regarded throughout time as one of the strongest shinobi villages within the Major Nations. Nestled amongst a deep valley protected by the many elements of nature, the village possesses an advantage in location, as their desert oasis provides hospitality to very few.

His response was merely placed aside by the red-haired stranger as he deemed his ignorance too much to bear at the moment given the situation that they were in-The situation that they were blissfully unaware of- Oh if they only understood the severity of situation that they had placed themselves in. Luckily for them, as he gazed up at the sky as the clouds began to cover the darkness and leaving it devoid of any sunlight, that having passed hours ago, allowing the stars to blanket the night sky and shine down on them almost patronizingly. It was a silent night, and at the moment it seemed as if the weather would keep. Being a master of sand himself he was able to try and prevent the desert from throwing too much at them, but there was sadly a limit to what he could do, and unluckily for them both, they’d managed to place themselves in quite a bad spot by wandering out here at this time. Making fun of him like the male was doing would only bring him less intent to actually take them somewhere safe- Shinobi of the village had always been taught one man for himself, but it was some sense of kindness that made him lure them elsewhere from the shifting sands for their own safety. What had happened to him exactly to cause him to be so protective of those who wandered the deserts? His clothing showed signs of wear- He was a keen explorer, as things showed.”Give me that tone again and I’ll leave you both..”
These words were directed towards the tall man from the words that he’d said to him in such a playful tone. Didn’t he feel as if there was something wrong here? He could feel it in the sand itself and it was almost unfortunate that no-one else understood it like he did. He’d been called a lunatic, a crazy and much more from the citizens of Sunagakure who’d banished him so cruelly from his growing paranoia. ”Come on.” he’d add on as he’d begin to walk, looking back to see if the two were following him as he scaled the dunes and ran across- Perhaps for an average human running across sand would be quite a feat, but luckily for shinobi with their agility heightened by quite a considerable amount, it was nothing more easy than running along a dirt track and should the other two be following me closely, we’d soon find ourselves running in to the distance. To his followers, they’d probably not notice any difference in the area as they travelled, although he knew exactly where they were, and was quite confident that they’d reach a safespot soon where the three could stay until the morning where they could set off once more. He wouldn’t show them where the village was, but he was doing them a big enough favour now by stopping them from wandering at such a dangerous time.
This run- This sprint across the sands would continue for the next half-an-hour, the man’s clothing billowing in the breeze and the pressure that was placed on it from running, making him easy to see from behind. The weather still clear and unhindering, the three would make their journey across the desert that was known as the majority of Kaze no kuni, although at the moment despite the fact that they were getting to somewhere, it appeared as if they had been running in circles. Should the other two be running behind him, they’d notice that during their movement, the sand would turn in to some unclear mess, moulding with the darkness in to some nightmarish collaboration of colours, and if it wasn’t for the guide, then they’d have probably gotten lost within the natural maze. However, all this would soon come to an end as the guide’s eyesight regulated and he’d soon freeze in his tracks, standing dead silent as his eyes darted about the place, almost as if he’d heard or seen something that wasn’t meant to be recognized. Holding his arm out towards the two behind him in a sign to stop like he had, he’d then very carefully turn his head without having moved an inch of muscle in his legs, his right hand rising to his mouth in a shhh motion, signalling the both of them to keep quiet. All in all, he looked a bit insane, but truthfully- what was he doing?Somewhere, the sands shifted.
And something rose.
