Ekitai stood proudly upon the upper tier of the battle ground 20 meters from the waterfall where the current wasn't quite strong enough to over power his stance and sweep him down over the edge. He removed his monocle cautiously wiping some of the spray from the falls off the lens before replacing it back over his eye carefully and folding his arms across his chest. He had underestimated just how monumental this... monumental landmark was and now he stood upon it proudly feeling inspired and ready for a fight. Hard to explain and hard to define the feeling simply came over him and he grinned maliciously knowing that it wouldn't be long now... before the others would soon arrive.

The soothing sound of rushing water crashing to the basin of the falls was oddly calming. Hotarubi could feel her breaths harmonizing with it's rhythm as she wandered into a stretch of open space. Her hair swayed in the playful breeze as the kunoichi's trained eyes spotted an anomaly standing firmly within the current of the river. Kusagakure's silent predator was all too familiar with the eerie atmosphere that clung to the air like a foul odor-it stank of a preemptive fight. If that wasn't a dead give away, the look upon the foreign shinobi's visage was. The vibrant crimson scarf around her neck fell dead as she stepped into the water, chakra gathering at the soles of her heels to keep her afloat atop the rapids.

Gazing at the statues for a moment, her eyes flickered back to the man, her fingers cringing and the bones within dully cracking. With not so much as a single expression on her face she called out to the fellow stranger. "The weather today is nice, huh?" Simple chatter to get a feel for him, but she didn't rely on it entirely, her body was deceptively poised, the distance between herself and him was also carefully considered, she kept her distance at twenty meters, caution was what kept one alive in this world, and stupidity is what kept one from staying....

Within the center of all of its beauty I stood, almost motionless. My chakras stemmed out like threads to the puppet amongst this battlefield at the very moment of my strange appearance ¹. To my front – a man stood under a waterfall, and as far as I was concerned he had been my only opponent until the minds eye stretched far enough to alarm me that there was in fact, another. Atop the waterfall another silhouette had emerged from the bowels of the steam surrounding the majestic rush of water.

The wind escaping the edge of the waterfalls base was enough to throw my red kimono jacket into the air above me- although it was almost completely gone from my own view I was sure it would come in handy somehow. Knees- shoulder width apart. My feet- filters for the chakra pouring from my soles in order to keep me hoisted above the water. Let’s begin shall we.

As if out of thin air, Masuyo simply landed at the middle point between a man (Ekitai) and a woman (Taiga) but also 10 meters away at the mans leftward flank and the woman's right. Dressed in white robes and black pants, the Sennin looked over both the man and then woman respectively as coating of red ink surrounded his eyes, expanding and stretching the limits of his chakra capacity. His feet were shoulder length apart and his arms rested at his side serenely, ready for anything. Having received an anonymous tip about a full scale battle, he wanted a piece of it himself, just for the fun. Realizing he never had many opportunities to test out his newly obtained abilities, he figured that imminent battle had been as good of a time as any. Regardless if where they fled to or even positioned for that matter, as long as their feet remained fastened to the earth, the Sennin undoubtedly felt their presence.

Already three opponents had assembled to the serene location and judging from the looks of things they were here for relatively the same thing Ekitai had come for. It was business time. In a flash the Hozuki wove a small string of hand seals finishing in under a second as five water clones sprung forth from the waters just below his fit in a small protective ring where he had once stood. But even as they rose and took form with intense speed he allowed himself to drop into the water below fluidly swimming deeper into the waters beneath. He didn't like the way everyone had assembled and maintaining some form of distance would prove useful in an all out dogfight he felt this would soon become.

Back on the surface within a second the clones had formed they too began forming hand seals of their own again completing their respective techniques within a matter of seconds. As they finished (mind you this being about three seconds in I'm assuming) three of the clones spewed forth a violent and rapid stream of water each one directed at one of the three foes who had gathered here today. The other two clones however held their final seals standing back to back maintaining full vision of the area and waiting to release their own techniques different than the jutsu used by the first three.

Beneath the surface Ekitai had now submerged nearly ten meters and began speedily forming yet another set of hand seals, they would not be completed now but the clones on the surface above were of course meant as distractions. If they enemy did not dispatch of them soon, the water clones would continue to harass the ninja above with a myriad of water techniques. And while the clones may be unable to form more complicated techniques it was in their uniform movements and strategies of multiple jutsu at the same time that gave them an edge as well as strength.

The killing would now ensue. Others had began to gather around me. A man whos chakra was simply monstrous came from the sky, and one more who wielded puppets on both hands. As far as flash and flare were concerned, I was the one who lacked anything special, but before I could entertain such trivial thoughts the first move had already been made. Before I could even began to react his seals were finished in but a blur, leaving me watching as several clones were manifested around him. It was then that I noticed he had submerged himself beneath the depths of the river; however prior to that I'd already hoped four meters back, my body staying low as possible to the surface of the water.

From my right hand I gripped the middle of my fuuma shuriken tightly, its surface stamped and ready to go as I tossed it towards the man who stood between me and the other. (gene) Easily my penumbra, fuuma shuriken cut through the air upon deceptive threads, ready to tear into his skin. ^[1][/ul]I didn't want to leave anythign to chance, to many things could go wrong, so I kept my eyes peeled, noticing that the clones already began to perform their seals, I'd have to react swiftly, but without how straightforward the attack was, my knees simply bent as I sidestepped to my right, my eyes still scanning the field of war for openings.
