Kawaii had been proud of who she had become. There wasn’t a person in the world that could change that. Everything she wanted, she worked for. Looking back, all her training had paid off. But only she would know the extent of her power. And it would be demonstrated against those who opposed her. Walking down a narrow road, about five meters on both of her sides away from the grass that surrounded the area, she had come across somebody. If they were from Kusa, she would spare them. Those who didn’t hail from her village would meet their fate at the hands of the young warrior.

Hmm, there always seemed to be fun awaiting me when I journeyed into the corners of the world without reason, and it was quite easy to admit that I had no clue where I was. Big Brother Hagan-sama, Val-kun, and even Big Sister had split onto their own paths, and that left me alone to unravel my own eulogy... and out of nowhere stood a figure in the distance, exactly fifteen meters, and with her young age it was safe to assume she was lost, just as I were. However, even for a child that was so petite and innocent-appearing, I never shifted from caution, Mama-Dearest standing right at my rear, daring a threat to show it's face. Hopefully I wouldn't be bothered with having to kill the adolescent girl, but even a demon was capable of such trickery...

It had been true that Kawaii needed help. But the kind she sought out hadn’t been anything good of nature. Instead, with her inner abode ruptured by the sword of the underworld, she had intended to take him to hell. Dashing forth, she began to break distance. Each meter she crossed, a seal was formed. At four meters, her first. Eight meters, her second. Twelve meters, her third. Within three seconds, her three seals had been completed to prep her technique¹. Then suddenly, a stop at the twelve meter mark. Immediately, she’d leaped back, digging her hands deep into her backpack. That moment, it’d come forth from her gullet.

It had been the technique she prepped. Emerging, it had been the vibrant hue of purple, mixed with the blackness of death. If he inhaled it, he’d have a chance to experience total subjugation. Within those two seconds, it had already covered twelve meters. By this point, Kawaii hadn’t sight on her foe. While still in the air, she’d seize, and throw what she had concealed² within her backpack. Sharp, and fine enough to kill for those with impeccable accuracy, and precision. Perhaps she could eliminate him with one shot.

W-what was going on?! W-why was she running towards me?! This little girl... I was wrong, I was so wrong! S-she HAD to be... another monster! A demon child... I had to react! Lost in hysteria for those few seconds, I hadn't made a single action except expressing complete terror, but just before her fluid fingers came to end the sequence of formations, a simple twitch of my index and middle fingers sent Mama-Dearest flying past toward her target. The malicious female was smart to close the distance, but she wasn't close enough, and with the little demon's body coming to a halt at the three-meter line, my mother had already relocated directly in front her with enough speed to interrupt the female's devilish chant, Mama's left claw extending forth to cleave through her chest. Attentive and readied for an expected weave, I simply hoped to prevent whatever technique the cretin was conjuring, a second claw anxious to cooperate in the battle. I couldn't die here... not like this!

DESCRIPTION; Kugutsu no Jutsu is a fundamental ninjutsu technique behind all forms of puppetry, and the perfered method of execution for shinobi that have discovered its use in battle. By emitting threads of chakra that allow perfect control between the user and their creation, it allows a ninja to use a puppet to attack from afar. The puppet itself can be loaded with many weapons and tools, allowing the puppet master to remain hidden while the puppet moves and attacks the target.

Now, three meters away from her opponent, Kawaii had been ready to make her next move. From the looks of it, her opponent had been one who wielded puppets. But numbers didn't matter when it came down to fighting the young Kusa kunoichi. With a simple leap back, she had been able to break three meters, further distancing her from the two that opposed her.

Of course, her first leap would be followed up by a second, and by this time, despite his desperate slash, her first technique had already been done. As for the damage, it would be meager when faced with the most recent technique^3A she had prepared. If he hoped to survived, it would be best for him to drop his sketchy tricks. Dropping her hands fror a counter attacked, they were consumed by a glow^3B.
