"Uh, oh...", the thought rang in my head, the sudden approach I gave apparently placing the new acquaintances on their guard immediately.
The expression of complete delight on my face had instantly become inquisitive and confused in response as I replayed the last few seconds in my mind, wondering which part of my sentences could have alerted them that I was a threat. Mm, surely, there was no doubt that I was curious to unravel what secret powers were hidden within them if they were really shinobi, and with the colour of bloodshed in the eyes of one and the eagerness to battle in the other, it was almost certain that these two were the infamous "ninja" that I had heard so much about!
Despite the fiend inside me wanting to stab my hand through their hearts with the thrill of combat in mind, the objective from the beginning was clear -- I needed friends, not more victims! "Whaaa... y-you want to fight meeeeeeee?!", I exclaimed, as my legs continued to swing like pendulums, "Ohoho, that sounds FUUUUN... but let's get to know each other first, silly!~" With Mother-dearest observing my every move from her hidden position, I temporarily neglected the possibility of killing each other, hoping that we'd become associates rather than mortal enemies.
"Mmm, let's begin!", I said, before leaping down from the branch to an equal position between me and the two others. A cheerful smile remained on my face, a whimsical stride slowly bringiing me closer to them. "My name... is Aleksandr... But you can call me Alek! I have a father, a mother, two brothers, one sister -- she doesn't like me very much, it's probably because she is always wearing black and I looooooove the colour white, it reminds me of heaven! You know what else reminds me of heaven?!... RICE PATTIEEEESSSSSSSS!~ Do you like rice patties?! I would eat them all the time, but I don't know how to cook... a farmer once told me that rice is the symbol of life and fertility... hehe, imagine!... Nevermind that, why don't you tell me your names already?!"
I waited, catching my breath in quick, unrecognizable phases. There was soooooo much more to possibly talk about... could my meddlesome thirst ever be quenched?!
