Hmm, there always seemed to be fun awaiting me when I journeyed into the corners of the world without reason, and it was quite easy to admit that I had no clue where I was. Big Brother Hagan-sama, Val-kun, and even Big Sister had split onto their own paths, and that left me alone to unravel my own eulogy... and out of nowhere stood a figure in the distance, exactly fifteen meters, and with her young age it was safe to assume she was lost, just as I were. However, even for a child that was so petite and innocent-appearing, I never shifted from caution, Mama-Dearest standing right at my rear, daring a threat to show it's face. Hopefully I wouldn't be bothered with having to kill the adolescent girl, but even a demon was capable of such trickery...


"Ahhh! You must be lost... can I... help you?"

The woman hidden beneath the weaponized umbrella, Magdalena, was infamously known for excessively voicing her opinion, even when it was composed of nothing but hatred, but the severity of her emotions were constantly in the palm of Big Brother, his words being the crucial factor to taming the beast with the parasol. Hagan-sama's following actions were contradictory; his hand rubbed my head which was comforting, but his speech was tormenting and stern... I couldn't disappoint him, for my own safety. Responding to the cannibal's order, I glanced over at the medical expert, and his body was slumped and quaking with fear, and a thunderous cloud deep-rooted with a darkened-white loomed over his head. This ghastly mass... was this the culprit behind Val-kun's sudden misery?! This was my obligation, even if his intentions were disgusting sometimes, but in spite of that, he was still my brother. Refusing to tolerate the assault, energy gathered and shot from my digits and adhered to Mother's vessel, thrusting her body onto the nearby Valentin's frame as metallic claws slashed murderously into the air above older brother. I had to save him!

"Valentiiiiiiiiiin, watch ouuuuuut!"

Exhausted from the sporadic burst of adrenaline to protect the medical sibling, the same feeling of delirium overcame me as two dragonic pillars flew through the air with threatening roars, the hands of the man known as Uncle Sebastian stuck in a distinct formation... these creatures under his control?! Initially, I assumed them to be more random demons sent to prevent our meeting, but these beautiful, liquid beasts had zero ill-fated motives. Eventually, the circus act ended with them descending back into the well from which they came, and the man significantly noted that his sole weakness was a proper source to cast his water from... it was obvious that this same insecurity was same for his niece and nephews as well... without our puppets, umbrellas, and even our knowledge, we each had our own disadvantages, and the first step to accepting Uncle Sebastian as family meant understanding he was just as human as the rest of us... well, excluding Big Brother, y'know... even if the water-conjurer's blood was to ultimately be revealed as false, I had to admit, he sure was talented...

( "Forgive me, Mama..." )

Merely a few seconds passed, and I suddenly came to loath the obscene words that escaped my mouth into the open, penetrating the ears of those around me. From sibling-to-sibling, I observed their reactions; Maggie-chan's emotions was changing like the direction of the wind, voicing her infatuation with Big Brother while throwing devil stares toward the me and the others; drool slivered from Valentin's lips while he appeared to be lost in heavenly cycle, then shifting to delirious sulking, and at that moment I realized that I could never truly understand what caused him to act and think so weirdly; Big Brother... well, of course he didn't approve of his younger sibling's animosity toward the newcomer, and even without him blatantly threatening us to settle down, I could feel the irritation through the air. Ashamed and rather embarassed, I stepped into the background next to Mother, who was soothing the pain with a caress, but her mentality was just the same as Hagan-sama when it came to this Sebastian-man... I hated purposefully displeasing both Mother and Big Brother, and the only remedy I could find to resolve the issue was to accept the anonymous man as family... for now.

"I'm sorry, Mama... I will behave from now on."

This man, Sebastian, due to being our proclaimed uncle meant he shared a great majority of visual similarities with Father, a man I had never been given the chance to meet. Blonde hair, a crazed expression, and a personality that could match our own gang's malevolence; was it possible that I was staring at a near-perfect replication of our own father...? And more importantly, could what appeared to be an irregular piece actually fit into this anarchic puzzle? Time could only tell. Before Hagan-sama's rambling ended, a single word stuck out like a sore thumb, and the thought itself removed the misery I had succumbed to: power. What exactly Big Brother meant by this was ambiguous, but the only thing I could imagine was obtaining some kind of magical power that made me a physical hulk... I would tower over anyone who stood before me – even my own family – and I would be UNSTOPPABLE! The traits of Val-kun was rubbing off on me as saliva trickled down from the fantastical dream... that would be so fricken awesome! Whatever the case, I was indebted to protecting this dysfunctional assembly at all costs, and I could only pray that that very wish would come true in the long-run.

"Hnnnn... muscles... famous... pooooweeeerrrrr... ahhh!"

Ahaaa... everything was happening at once! Before dear Hagan-sama could respond to the older gentleman, the Wicked Witch of the East finally made her arrival, that useless parasol still attached to her hands like old times. Due to Magdalena holding a few ages on top of my own, she constantly felt she had the authority to judge and command the rest of us, minus Big Brother. Although her obsession with ignoring our importance was increasingly annoying, she was one of the last family members we had, and Mother wouldn't dare tolerate the division of kin.

"Agh, Maggie-chan! Jeez, that hurt... and have you gone blind, Big Sister? Mama is standing right next to you..."

The stab assaults couldn't break skin, but that fricken parasol of Maggie-chan surely was capable. Just as expected, her demeanor transformed in an instant, flailing over Big Brother as if her affection had zero bounds, and it most likely didn't. But... to hear the umbrella-collector speak of Mother as if she was missing... she must've been as blind as a bat, because I was positive that everyone else had noticed her... or had they?! However, Big Sister's sudden malevolence toward the intruding male wasn't restricted to just herself, the belief that the anonymous newcomer was nothing less than an imposter. I couldn't allow such a person to claim our uncle, our family, our blood, without some undeniable confirmation... had Big Brother already truly accepted the man as our own relative?

"Ahhh... m-my name is Aleksandr... I'm sorry, mister, but if you are a liar, I will kill you... but it is nice to meet you!"

And with a bubbly expression, pure seriousness infiltrating the greeting for a brief moment, I stood and bowed to the supposed "Uncle", anxious to learn the background of this man, including what the others had been up to. How many people had Big Brother killed? Did Magdalena become even more efficient with her illusions? Had Valentin-kun finally ascended to the greatest male nurse of all time?! The excitement was killing me...

"Look, Mama... there he is!"

And there he was, the more experienced fighter out of our little soon-to-be squadron who harbored a fierce bloodlust that I could only fairly imitate, but meeting again since our last encounter, seemingly decades ago, was certainly invigorating. Anxiety overcame me as his body progressively approached, shuffling deliriously to adjust myself as he came closer. How was my hair... my clothes... I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of Mother and the gang. Despite Hagan-sama appearing to be the one rather unfurnished, there was something about his aura, his seniority... of course, this was the perfect man to bestow my allegiance.

"Mmmm, big brother! You feel so warm..."

The embrace was strong, and I could feel the bond of our identical cells literally shake with electricity. The grapple sent me into another euphoric unconsciousness for those brief seconds, my own grip tightening as it became steadily harder to release. From the nickname, to his comment about the muscularity I was obviously sheltering, and this truly felt like a memorable family reunion. Being the eldest sibling, it was expected of Hagan-sama to portray a serious attitude at times, and I thought nothing much of it as his words fumbled afterward, trying to retain a caring presence.

"Ohhhh, Maggie-chan and Val-kun... they must be late... would you like a cookie, brother?"

The baked goods was made with a delectable, refined tuna, and just as my bony-arm shifted the half-eaten snack toward Hagan as an offering, a peculiar creature began to crawl from the corner of my widening eye... w-was this another demon?!... or perhaps some kind of feral beast that had infiltrated the stone barricade?... wait, this thing looked familiar... this was MY own sibling, the one-and-only Valentin. Upon realizing what the being truly was, a light chuckle came to me as I observed the year-older brother creep against the ground, displaying quite a humorous interpretation of a cat, I presumed.

"Ahhh, Val-kun, you made it... where is sister Maggie, mmm?"

The sexual deviant hadn't morphed his personality even the slightest, and despite how stomach-turning his actions seemed to others, I found it to be extremely amusing, just as Mother did. However, this wasn't the last of the surprises... abruptly, another being came to reveal thyself, but it wasn't the distant sister I had known, who rarely hesitated to voice her dissatisfaction... it was another man, his age further beyond what Hagan possessed even with his scruffy facial-hair. The letter originally spoke of our reunion being solely restricted to family... could this mysterious newcomer possibly be of the same blood?

For now, I'd have to remain silent and find out.
