A sea of cherry blossoms and exotic, ivory orchids flooded the isolated temple known as the Garden of Neptune (­Nepuchun no Niwa), a place of undisturbed beauty that had come to be a recurring place of visit for me and Mother dearest. "Ahhh, isn't this place just lovely, Mama?!", I said to Mother's gargantuan form, just several meters from me, before plucking a single lilac flower from a bush of them. "Hehe, I'd even wager a huge batch of ajigonomi that Maggie-kun herself would have peace of mind here!"


Endless waterfalls streamed from the walls of the ancient construction, the handiwork of an extinct civilization proving that such a heaven existed on earth! The Sun loomed overhead at it's peak, and I couldn't help but to use this time alone to play around as much as my little heart could take, blissfully forgetting the demons of this world that always seemed to be in sight... and then I wondered, why couldn't we all just be friends, hm?!


"Mm, I'm sure you would know, right Mama? Why must we kill each other... why must there be so much hate and bloodshed throughout the lands?... Hm, survival? I understand we must protect the ones we love, but... imagine if everyone just forgot that and played together with one another... no one would have to be protected! Do you think I can change the world, Mama?... Mm, you're right, I suppose I can!"


Without a second of contemplation, I returned to nonchalantly skipping in circles, absorbing nature's essence from all around me as Mother dearest's encouraging words returned my joyous emotions. Could anything possibly ruin this perfect moment?!

Too much time had passed. Too many stories had reached his foreign ears. Too much had gone to waste. Sebastian had faded from the map over night, while making his way back to Takigakure he had chosen to take to the country land and lose himself. This lead to him losing track of time quite obviously, but stories still reached him of the current happenings, though at a usual pace of two weeks or so behind. Nonetheless he had been informed of much, Kusagakure had become a Great Nation. Takigakure had been mauled and spit back out with two new "rulers", Iwagakure and Sunagakure were at war. But, he had also heard of the chaos amongst his family, it was all too much to leave without a caterer.

Leaving the country lands of the shinobi world behind, Sebastian moved back to current times. Tracking down his family was his first priority, and it was proving rather difficult, especially since they had seemed to scatter for whatever reason. This left him wandering about the Waterfall Country almost aimlessly which to say the least was disgusting. How could he not track down one individual in the lands he had literally been raised within? The few things that kept him calm were rather...little, such as keeping his hair slicked back and taking an occasional swim. And knowing choice swim spots were in a nearby city of ruins, Sebastian didn't make haste, tracking down his family could take another short pause. A top a cliff he peered down, his eyes tracing a small waterfall that was before him and fell to a moderate pool below.

And hardly in the distance was a small figure...dancing in circles. Too far to notice who they were he shrugged it off. Clapping his hands together to form a single hand seal he parted his reserves to clone himself, sending the clone on ahead for important business before Clave himself began removing his coat and tossing it away and down, he watched it fall to the branch of a tree near the pool below. Springing into the sky he swore he touched the sun before he began to descend towards the water, crashing into it with comfort.

Landing in the water with quite the splash, Clave took his time swimming though a wandering right eye tagged the boy who was quite familiar now...But, a name and origin escaped him. Because of this Clave didn't deem it worthy of seeking out who the child was. Merely continuing his mini-rest via swimming and basking in the sun that kissed the ruins they were both within. But, with time came the urgency to get moving, retrieving his clothes he moved on.
